Had an appointment with the Doctor. I saw a physicians assistant. Now, its almost 3 weeks and still waiting on test results. EEEEKs!

Set expectations, detailed explanations and great atmosphere.

Dr Rosenthal is the best I’ve been his patient for over four years now and he’s always taking care of me.

My visit was smooth sailing. My apointment was at 9:45, and 9:50 i was back in the examing room and saw Dr. Rosenthal and finished visit in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Rosenthal, and his assistant Shelby are delightful and very personable, he is the kind of doctor i can stay with over the years.

Very caring doctor. Makes you feel very comfortable and ensures all your questions are addressed.

I had a good experience with Dr. Rosenthal, he was polite to take you and did a great job removing my kidney stone.

Staff was very courteous and was I can’t really say happy with my experience due to having to have a catheter but they were sensitive to my feelings about it

Even though this is for Dr Rosenthal, I always see the PA Chelsea Roberts. She is phenomenal! Great bedside manner. Straight to the point, no fuss. My kind of doctor. Would recommend her to anyone in need or urology services.

if you want to be misdiagnosed with an overactive bladder and patronized this is the guy for you.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Dr. Rosenthal. He insisted that I have a procedure done ASAP which resulted in complications. I was in an extreme amount of pain afterwards. The follow up care from him was very painful. He was always in a rush and isn't a caring Dr. I was in such bad condition I had to go elsewhere to get my issues resolved. Stay far away from this practice.

VERY unprofessional office. First time, he stood in the hallway outside of my exam room and telephoned a venue for the office holiday party after conversing with his office staff. Then he had the PA come in to see me who said that Dr. Rosenthal was running late. Second time, while he was in the exam room with me, explaining my cancer diagnosis, the nurse knocks on the door and pops her head in and asks Dr Rosenthal what he wants from Wawa... Seriously...

I am very happy with the care I have received in his office & have had a few surgeries when he removed kidney stones! The only time I had a problem with the staff is when I placed a request for a prescription & they sent it for the wrong strength of the medication! Other than that issue, I have always had a positive experience with all of his staff!! Would refer him to anyone needing a urologist, in a heartbeat!! Front desk staff is rude and incompetent. Dr. Rosenthal is arrogant and patronizing. They do not do Telemed appointments in this Covid era. Don't even deserve the one star.

incompetent and rude front office. They have no idea what they're doing. PAs unprofessional and have no bedside manner. Doctor doesn't listen. Just pushes you aside and does what he thinks best.

Inconsiderate staff. I liked Dr. Rosenthal, but his staff! I recently traveled to Florida to visit family. A trip I had planned months in advance. I came back on a Tuesday because I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Rosenthal Wednesday. I show up and they tell me my appointment was cancelled. They said they tried to call me. They called my home number while I was away. No one thought to call my cell number, which they had! It wouldn't have mattered, because my travel arrangements were made. I told the receptionist that tis was a serious matter. I could have stayed a few more days with my family. And I got a "well, we're sorry." That's it! I hope Dr. Rosenthal is better than his staff. Do NOT go to this Dr Rosenthal, Do NOT go to this practice. Husband had scrotal pain and ER referred his office. Called office was told to leave message on nurses line and we’ll get a call back. We got a call back in 3 days. After seeing him, studies were taken , surgery was set up. We set up follow up appointments. A week after his 3 week follow up a final stitch knot was irritating the tissue and wouldn’t let wound close. It was starting to look infected. The office staff said”leave a message on nurse line”. We know how quick that is. We received no call back. Called second day, no call back. Called third day and asked to speak to doctor of have appointment for post op care which is included in cost of surgery. They said “no” they said “we need to ask dr Rosenthal when we can fit you in because he has no appointments, if your in that much pain go to ER” we had to pay 125 ER fee when we should have had post op care that was already paid for. This doctor and his office don’t care . If I could give them a zero I would. Do yourself a favor , stay far away from him and this practice. Hands down the best physician in Philadelphia area and possibly even the United States. Phenomenal care and a super hip guy too. Can’t wait for my next urologic issue so I can see Dr. Rosenthal again! 10/10 highly recommend

I would avoid this office if possible. They double book appointments on purpose (admitted to me). I was treated by someone other than Dr. Rosenthal and was prescribed Cipro to treat Prostatitis. The woman who saw me honestly sounded like she was guessing at my diagnosis. I had some concerns with taking the medicine and had asked the office to have Dr. Rosenthal to give me a call to discuss. He never called. I ended up trying Cipro and stopped after 6 doses. Currently suffering from severe tendon pain after 2 months of stopping the drug - no further issues with my Prostate. Just my personal experience - my advice is to never take Cipro or a drug in it's class. Always research your medication and never accept anything less than what you expect with your visit.

I was referred to Dr Rosenthal about a large kidney stone the size of peanut m&m and had 3 lithotripsies that didn't work and he preformed a procedure up through the urethra and bladder into kidney could not see stone so he put a stint in anyway without shocking stone why ???? Was very uncomfortable about having this done then he removed stint in his office and left was in excruciating pain on the road with my son drove to Lansdale er. Was admitted for two days. Still don't have any answers he's on vac. No one has called me from Suburban Comm. Gen. Or Lansdale Abington Jefferson to even see how I am. That's ridiculous. The medical care in USA is horrible. Especially if you have medical assist. Was still in pain after leaving hosp on Fri. Was told it was spasm pain from stint. They finally gave me spasm medicine on Fri. ??? That helped why didn't I get that sooner ????? Alot of un-answered questions right ???? I would not recommend bringing your dog there they don't care really !!!!!!! I wouldn’t take a stray dog to Dr. Rosenthal ! I went to his office building to see another urologist (who I had been seeing for years) and asked him if I could do anything about my frequent urination and he told me they could do a sizing of my prostate.This was done several weeks later and as I was leaving the office the office staff told me the doctor wanted to see me.My doctor told me my prostate was 10 times the size of a normal male prostate and I would have to get it taken out and referred me to Dr. Rosenthal. I was operated on in November 2015 and immediately started getting a severe burning/itching feeling in my pelvis.I went back for a follow up appointment and told him about the pain I was having and he said to my wife that he could have hit a nerve during the operation.To make a long story short it was determined that I had Pudendal nerve damage.I had to get an operation for this in December 2016 and have been in horrible pain ever since .Never ever go to Dr. Rosenthal for any type of medical procedure !!! Several years ago I was referred to Rosenthal by my GP about an ED issue I was having and within 15 minutes of seeing him, I was making an appointment to have a prostate biopsy after a digital exam. He totally blew off my reason for being there and was more concerned with getting me on a biopsy table not to mention how he presented me his findings. "I have good news and bad news. The bad I felt something and the good you only have a 20% chance of having cancer." I really regret not getting a second and third opinion and I highly recommend it if you are told the same. The Dr who performed the biopsy didn't feel anything but they went ahead anyway. I could have saved myself a very intrusive procedure on a healthy organ Be very leery of this office. I waited 40 minutes in the actual office after waiting 30 in the waiting room. He is not caring at all and actually comes off as arrogant and could tell he could care less about his patients, this whole practice is horrible, I strongly do not recommend!!!

My last five-minute appointment had me waiting in the exam room for over an hour. After my procedure, the poorly-written instruction sheet instructed me to call for my test results. In the rare instance that anyone answers the phone, they take my information and then send me to medication-request voicemail instead of giving me my test results! I have never had a more frustrating, timewasting, or unprofessional experience at a medical provider.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife. There's a longer story to her condition, but 5 yrs of treatment she had an US sched. by Dr R in 11/16. after a gall bladder surg. We had already made the decision to seek a 2nd opinion on a tumor on her kidney. Our new specialist recommended surg. to remove the tumor and save as much of the kidney as possible. Surgery was done in Jan 2017, cancer was confirmed. Dr. R finally called 02/14 to tell us he wasn't worried and to get a scan in a year.

So normally I don't write reviews, but I felt like I had to express to people how badly I was treated at this practice so they wouldn't make the same mistake I did by actually going to this facility. I went to this practice originally after being instructed by other doctors to go to a urologist. I went to Dr. Rosenthal's office because it was the closest to where I lived so I figured it would be the most convenient. When trying to schedule an appointment, they said all their main urologists were scheduled through the month, and the only person I would be able to see was a doctor's assistant. I was in so much pain at the time I didn't even care and told them I would see the doctor. When I went to my appointment, the doctor didn't seem at all interested in what I had to say, gave me a quick diagnosis without running any tests, and told me I just had an over active bladder even though I had been in pain for 3 months. When the medication he prescribed me was not working, I called back the practice and told them I needed to see one of the actual specialists as soon as possible because I wasn't feeling any better. The staff said they could get me an appointment with doctor Rosenthal. When I finally did see Dr. Rosenthal, he did the EXACT same thing as the doctor before him! He did not run any tests, didn't seem at all interested in anything I had to say, and told me it was just an over active bladder. At that point I was furious and demanded him to write me a referral for a Cat Scan ( which he did). Once I went for my Cat Scan they said Dr. Rosenthal should call me by the next day to give me my results. I didn't hear from Dr. Rosenthal for over a WEEK. In the mean time I went to a different doctor to get a second opinion who DID run tests and did prescribe me medication which actually fixed the problem. When visiting her she got my Cat Scan results faxed over within 5 minutesr from the hospital and told me there was really no excuse for why Dr. Rosenthal hadn't called me with my results. DO NOT go to this practice if you want to be treated-- this was hands down the worst experience with doctors I have ever had. The only thing I could say good about them was the receptionist staff was friendly and the office itself was clean but beside that the doctors I saw were horrible.
