Dr Ralph is a great podiatric surgeon. I recommend him to anyone that I know who has issues with their feet. The best of the best as far as I'm concerned.

Dr.Ralph is an excellent physician and his nurse Diana is just as great. The wait is frustrating, but I take into account that he gives his patients the same attention that he gives me when I’m there. Some of the medical assistants could sure use some bedside manners, and better training. We are all in a vulnerable place when we are at any doctors office….be kind….

Problem with billing.Charged for services not rendered.Called to resolve issue and was told the billing department would contact me but I'm still waiting for that call.

Visit started day before when assistant called at 5:45 pm to answer about driving abilities after procedure. Great , helpful info . Timely visit- not long wait anywhere from beginning to end. Solved problem and I’m sent to handle any future issue.

My first visit with Dr. Brian Ralph was very pleasant. He took the time to explain my X-ray and show me the cause of the pain in my big toe. Dr. Ralph provided me with an option to remove the extra bone from my toe. In addition, he told me about the recovery time after the procedure and what to expect for at least 2 to 3 weeks. Dr. Brian Ralph is the epitome of the ideal doctor, both in knowledge and in bedside manner.. Not only is he a wonderful doctor, he is a wonderful person.

It was such a great experience bringing my husband here! Really everyone was so helpful that I can't thank them enough! If anyone ever needs these kind of services, then please come here!

Dr. Brian Ralph is an outstanding medical doctor and podiatrist. He is compassionate and kind and knows exactly what to do in every situation while making me feel comfortable and not afraid. His nurse, Diana, and his whole team are outstanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Can't give any stars but Google makes you give one to post a review!! Although this is not against Dr. Ralph per se- but against his office/billing dept! They made a coding error with regards to my first and only visit on Aug 31, 2021. Being a diabetic, I need a yearly foot exam- his visit with me was an entire 5 mins. Looked at my feet did a sensitivity test - I asked about a small lump on the bottom of my foot- took one scrape, and said it was nothing. No bleeding, no band aid needed. I have blue cross blue shield- and have a very good Govt policy. The balance after the ins co paying- leave me with $163 owed to the office. I called the billing dept & they said it was not an error- he did surgery! I called the ins co they said they too felt it was not coded correctly but could not do anything- stating his office/billing needed to change it. After 3 weeks of waiting for Dr. Ralph's office to call me- I called them, I was told they would get with the billing dept to do an audit, it has been 2 weeks and nothing~ I do not have a lot of money and I am out of work. Dr. Brian Ralph is extraordinary. He's always professional and courteous. He takes his time to explain what needs to happen and what are the procedures. I think he does an excellent job at representing Roper St Francis.

I managed to break the cuboid bone in my left foot into six pieces. Dr Ralph managed to screw four of them together and get the other two where they would heal properly. I think he is awesome!

I have a time of it with my left foot. Dr. Ralph performed surgery in August. Foot had a very prolonged recovery with an added two plus month of PT. I then experienced numbness, which he did not seemed to worried about. Recently this month I went for a new problem in the same foot. Felt like Mortons neuroma between my left toe and the second toe. He prescribed me with a steroid. I had problems getting the prescription filled by Diana. The steroid did not help. Dr. Ralph gave me Diana's card and I was told to contact her directly about a follow up if need. I got a call from the office that I should go back through the main ortho scheduling. Now not appointment is available until the second week in June. I plan on calling back the office again and letting them no this is not the treatment I thought I was going to receive. The entire staff work in harmony with Dr. Ralph. He ( Dr. Ralph) is great. His bedside manner is most impressive and upon seeing the before and after xrays of my foot I saw his beautiful work. I was amazed! The only glitch I experienced was the delay in returning my phone calls after surgery. As it turned out, the catheter in my thigh that was supposed to be releasing the numbing medication to my foot was going to my knee. The first time I saw Dr Brian Ralph he asked me to remove my shoes. Then instead of looking at my feet he looked at the soles of my shoes. I was confused. But he said this would tell him how I walked. This visit was about fifteen years ago. I never forgot that tip. Recently I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my ankles and hips. I remembered Dr Ralph’s suggestion. I looked at the bottom of my shoes. I was walking on the outside of both feet, my left foot I wasn’t doing a heel to toe walk at all..just keeping the foot flat. I wear rocking shoes for plantar fasciitis which seems to keep coming back with flat shoes. My left shoe had no wear at all....pristine clean on the heel and toe. I am now practicing walking heel to toe with both feet and using the whole foot not just the outer edge. I am sure this will help. Thanks for the tip, Fr Ralph.

I have not had a bad experience with Dr. Ralph in office but I bad experience with staff member Brenda. I called yesterday due to a fall. Had questions about an MRI that was order, to make sure it covers the correct area and to inform about fall. Brenda called me back today. I told her about the fall and inquire if MRI would cover right area. She told me the doctor is the expert, I should not question him and the doctor never call patients back. When I told her about my urgent care visit, she proceed to tell me that, she see no record of urgent visit as if I am lying . Had she taken a closer look at my home address, she would have noticed that I don't live in Charleston area and it is quite possible that I visited urgent care near my home. Brenda lacks good customer service and have me questioning if I should return for future care. One bad apple, does spoil the whole bunch.
