I had a elbow fracture along time ago and I was In a car accident a couple yrs ago and needed to move a nerve on the broken elbow and he is the only one that would do the surgery and no one else would. He is a problem solver not a scary cat. I would recommend him before anybody else out there. Thank you so much for giving me better sleeping days. Dr Janz. Thank you so much for your dedication to your Job and for doing the surgery. Your are the only one who cares about someone's well being. If you didn't do the surgery one one else would of did it. My wife is happier cause she is sleeping now cause of the surgery

Dr Janz is so easy to talk to and has made a huge difference in my life. He is very easy to understand and listens to understand what’s happening so he can make recommendations on treatment.

Every visit was a hour late. They are now helpful to patients that have other health needs. They also us strange tech to communicate with patients

Dr Janz did an amazing job and saved my finger from amputation due to a severe bone infection. He performed emergency surgery at 10 on a Friday night. He followed up on Saturday night at 11 pm. And again on Monday morning very early. I’m amazed with him as a surgeon. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Janz is an amazing Doctor/Surgeon. He has fixed two issues I have had with my hand. I was ready to amputate a finger then I went to Dr Janz, he fixed my finger to the best it was going to get. He also is in the process of fixing my hand that accidentally went up into a ceiling fan on high. His bedside manner is amazing and he actually cares. Highly recommend Dr. Janz, he is the best hand Doctor I have ever seen and he was my 4th opinion with my finger. The first two wanted to cut it off and the third didn’t want to even help, but Dr. Janz was very willing to fix it to the best that he could. I tore my distal bicep tendon doing Jiu Jitsu this year. Dr. Janz repaired it 7 months ago. I assumed it would never be the same as I am in my 40’s. However, I’m back to doing everything I did before. Although I have no objective means to measure this, it feels stronger than my uninjured arm. Dr. Janz is one of the Best Hand Surgeon's out there. He does excellent work. If you were to have any problems, or injuries due to your hands, I would most definitely recommend Dr. Janz. I had a 900 lb piece of equipment fall on my right hand approximately ten years ago. It destroyed my thumb and I can not describe to you how bad it was with nothing but bone left exposed on the bottom and one half inch of that was missing. I was taken to a hospital Columbus, Ohio for medical attention. Dr. Janz was the doctor who did my reconstructive surgery. After two intricate surgeries my hand and thumb function and look normal. I have total feeling in it and also have a 90 psi grip plus my finger nail even grew back. I returned to my job as a ups driver 24 weeks later and have needed no other follow up medical attention. I met Dr. Janz in 2016 with I had an arthritis issue with my fingers on both hands. He performed surgery and my hands look like new again. He has also operated on a pinched nerve in my husband’s hand. We now live in Hagerstown and still go to the Eldersburg office to see him. He is the only doctor for hands for us. I first met Dr Janz in March 2016 when he operated on my right hand for a carpal tunnel condition. I was immediately impressed by his friendly, personable nature as well as the fact that he took plenty of time to carefully explain what the operation entailed and what I could expect afterward. I also appreciated that he explained things in a way that I could understand since my medical knowledge is next to none. He put me at ease and he was always very considerate and thoughtful and he helped relieve the anxiety I felt since, by nature, I have always had a certain apprehension in medical environments. That surgery went perfectly and I healed very quickly. I was able to resume work and normal life within just a few days. Then, on 9/16/2020, I had surgery again with Dr Janz. In the previous year or two, the carpal tunnel problem appeared in my left hand and quickly worsened. There was no question in my mind that I wanted Dr Janz to do my surgery again. Once again, he treated me with much kindness, politeness and consideration. He answered my questions without talking down to me or making me feel ignorant. The operation was over very quickly and the discomfort I felt was quite minimal. Within a few days, I was feeling considerably better and I am fully satisfied with the way everything turned out. I would fully and completely recommend Dr Janz 100 percent to anyone who needs hand surgery of any kind. I truly marvel at his skill and knowledge and I am a bit awestruck at how someone can perform such complex surgeries so routinely and so easily. I am thankful he was the doctor who did my surgeries and I consider myself fortunate to have been able to turn to him for my medical needs. I had surgery on my elbow on July 10, 2019. Before surgery Dr. Janz was very professional and very kind and caring. He explained everything well. He had me do other things before the surgery which we knew would not really help my situation. The day of surgery he was very caring of my feelings and taking precaution cause of my diabetes. Dr. Janz did my carpal tunnel surgery in 2012. I was originally scheduled to have the surgery done by a well known doctor in our area who I found out at the last minute was leaving the practice. I didn't even know Dr. Janz when I had the surgery done, but he totally put me at ease and did a great job! I would trust him again if I every needed another surgical procedure. This review is long overdue. I had a large fatty cyst in the palm of my right hand which is my dominant hand. Surgery was in January 2019. I was very nervous about the surgery. Dr. Janz was confident from the start that I would make a full recovery. Not only did I fully recover but you can barely see the scar. Dr. Janz has the best bedside manner, he is very professional and he knows what he is doing. You will not be disappointed. Trust me if I ever need him again I will not hesitate to call. Dr. Janz repaired the tendon in my left index finger after I had a cooking accident with a knife, as well as released the carpal nevers in both my right and left hands. He did a fantastic job. Dr. Janz was very thorough in his explaining of what he was going to exactly do during the sugeries after I had my nerve test, and how long my healing time would be. I have really bad anxiety and when sure days came Dr. Janz made me feel very comfortable and safe especially during this time of Covid-19. When it came to my post-op visits Dr. Janz made sure my questions were answered, and explained again very thoroughly how long it would take to get full strength back, he gave me exercises to do at home bc I have a new born and not only could I not go to any you're of physical therapy regularly but I told him I wasn't very comfortable going bc of Covid-19 which was ok bc I did what he told me and he saw great progress in my recovery. Now I'm on an "as need" basis with my hands and finger. I no longer have numbness in my hands or lower arms, I'm no longer dropping y things bc of that numbness being gone, and my left index finger works again although it still has healing to do to get full rang motion. Dr. Janz thank you for giving me my hands back. Before you I use to get scared that is drop my newborn bc of my dropping random objects before you did surgery. I no longer have that fear. You're the best hand specialist I've ever come across, and I'm beyond grateful to you for have the surgical talent that you have. I visited Jantz through a recommendation from guess who !! Dr Ronald Delnois. Cause Dr D didn’t do hands ! I really am pleased with the service of Brian Jantz he’s good , gives you options ! Dr.Janz is an amazing surgeon. On June 2015 performed a surgery on my right hand from Carpal Tunnel. The surgery was successful. I reccommend people to Dr.Janz who are experiencing some type of pain in their hand.

Dr. Janz operated on my badly fractured pinky finger which required the placement of a plate to put everything back together. Competent doctor; terrible office management. At each of three separate visits, waited over 45 minutes. Practice did not bill me for a small, unreimbursed balance owing; instead, they sent my account direct to collections without any contact at all - exceptionally rude way to treat a patient!
