I received a text message confirming consultation the 1 day before. I arrived at the clinic and checked in and spent 30 minutes waiting, pregnant, in a crowded room in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic. I went to question the reason for the delay and I was informed that the doctor was not there and that they tried to call me to let me know. How do they check in if the doctor is not there? How can the waiting crowded room with a pandemic? I was very disappointed

Even though we're in-and new to-Houston, we reached out to Dr Hoyt though family for much needed advice on what might be an odd recurrence of skin and/or lip cancer. Local eye doc, dentist and PHX neck cancer surgeon were concerned but it was weeks to see a derm and run pathology. Dr Hoyt studied images and symptoms and correctly suggested it was Bell's Palsy, at the same time suggesting we approach MD Anderson, to be certain. Amazingly, we had were accepted. The epitome of what a Doc should be!
