Smart, Knowledgeable, Skilled and Sincere. I would highly recommend Dr Hoffman!

Dr. Hoffman has done both total knee replacements for me. Both times were very successful. He is a caring, professional physician. His office staff are great. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman for knee replacement.

Dr. Hoffman is a very caring surgeon, who explains things very clearly, is compassionate and seems to do excellent work.

I would not recommend Dr. Hoffman to anyone. I would give him zero stars if that was an option. Dr. Hoffman was basically dismissive about everything I described to him. He was also rude and condescending. Indeed, he spent a good deal of time telling me about his own experience with something in his knee or leg that was nothing, but he thought was something because he happened be studying this part of the body during his medical residency. His point was that his perception of a health issue was psychosomatic, induced by what he was studying during his residency. In parallel fashion, what I was describing to him was, in his view, similarly psychosomatic. He did say that “he wasn’t the smartest guy in the world,” and that maybe somebody else could help. But he was saying this in a ironic tone, basically dismissing me so that I could stop wasting his time.

Well I saw Dr Hoffman for pain in my feet I am almost certain is plantar fasciitis He seemed to want me to diagnose myself and stated “he didn’t know why my feet hurt” I mentioned leg pain and sciatica I am certain is from walking abnormally so he tried to send me to Pioneer Spine . I had an X-ray and nothing remarkable and my bones look fine Aside from heel Spurs in both feet .. and I don’t think plantar fasciitis is gonna show on an X-ray Which are extremely painful as I have heard ... but not from this man I left in tears after waiting a month or more to see this “specialist” Disappointed to say the least as I lay here on New Years Day barely able to walk .

Very arrogant kept telling me, 3 times, that he is a surgeon. So basically don't ask about anything if it doesn't involve surgery. He never even went over the X-rays he took. Pompous

Dr. Hoffman takes time with his patients. He listened to me about alternative approaches before my deciding when to have my knee replacement. Supartz injections gave me the time to get to know him and trust him before making the move to have the knee replaced. he recommended partial knee replacement and it has been extremely successful.

My ankle seriously broken, I was really afraid of what was to come. Doctor Hoffman spent a ton of time explaining what he would do, and was frank about my prognosis. He is kind, funny, and warm, and remembers months later who you are.
