Nobody wants to see a Proctologist, but Dr Harlin is amazing. I’ve been going to him for at least 15 years for different issues. Colonoscopy, fissure, hemorrhoids. He’s so nice and knows what he’s doing. I wish every Doctor I go to was as nice and caring.

As a nurse I have worked with some of the best surgeons at a top hospital in the country. Dr. Harlin beats them all. He is excellent at his craft. As a patient , Dr. Harlin is exactly what you want. Kind, caring, exceptional bedside manner. He explains everything thoroughly and leaves you feeling truly cared for. He made a huge difference at a difficult time. You will not regret having him as your surgeon.

Dr. Harlin not only saved my life, he gave me back my life. After over a decade of debilitating pain, and doctors who couldn't get to the root of the problem, I finally found Dr. Harlin. He cared about ME, not just my diagnosis. He has the best "bedside manner" of any doctor I've ever met, which made the emotionally and physically uncomfortable procedure much more bearable. His surgical skills have allowed me to live a pain-free life for the past two years. For that, I am forever grateful.

I was very pleased with my visit, Dr. Harlin was very helpful, I got relief right away. I would recommend him to everyone I know.

In the beginning Just thinking of the condition I was very afraid. After speaking to you about it. I became comfortable. I thank you for your services.

Went to my evaluation appointment only to find the office had moved without notice. Arrived on time at the new address, was kept waiting for 65 mins. I asked when I would be seen. I was the Dr was running behind. My appt was for 9:30 AM (office opened at 9) how can you run 1 hour behind in 30 minutes. I walked out and will find another Dr. No acoustic separation between exam rms. I could hear every word spoken between Dr and patient in the adjoining exam room. Awful experience

All I can say is that a doctor should be gentile and aware of patients being in pain during a physical exam. Especially when you communicate that youre seeing him because of pain. I wouldn't go back to him for a fissure let alone a fistula.

I have seen Dr. Harlin a few times over 10 years. All times, he had one of the BEST bedside manners I ever encountered in a doctor, especially a surgeon. Sometimes, the best part of medicine is just putting the patient at ease and explaining what's going on, why something works, and others things, don't, what to worry about, and what not to be concerned about. He provided great peace of mind and provided helpful suggestions and advice. Wait times were reasonable but typical for a doctor's office, so expect to wait 30-60 minutes or so. But he did spend quite a bit of time with me, more than his receptionist was happy about, so I think that's why he runs overtime. I was incredibly pleased with my appointment with Dr. Harlin! He has excellent knowledge base, but i was mostly impressed with his bedside manner. He took a lot of time to explain everything to me so that I understood the issue and how to medically address. He didn't make me feel rushed and his demeanor was humbling and reassuring. I felt a lot of confidence in his expertise. He also wasn't so keen to jump to surgery as the solution, which only increased my trust in his character. Highly rec!!

Dr Harland performed my colonoscopy at a private clinic . I had an abscess boil on my rectum he walk me around to his clinic after hours and lanced the boil on my rectum with no nurses and no medical assistance I didn't even leave his office before I felt the blood running down my leg I must've bled 2 pints of blood ! Dr Harland does not care about his patients when I received a call back from him he told me he was in his car and that I was going to cause him an auto accident and he was doing me a favor and a courtesy by calling me back on Saturday I asked why did you bother calling me if he's not available to speak he is the worst Kwak and has no bedside manner he's only concerned with making money as he was informing me help exorbitant hospital costs are , when in actuality he I never was signed out of the hospital and I should've been taken to the emergency room I will never trust him again Dr Harland performed my colonoscopy at a private clinic . Doctor Harlin is such a kind and caring doctor with a lovely bedside manner. He has a calm nature and takes as much time as you need to explain what is going on. He was a godsend for me at a time when I was seriously ill and I have 100% trust in him. He genuinely cares for his patients and I would highly recommend him. Amazing experience.Amazing person.Polite,friendly,able to ask questions and he responds with intelligent answers.He also returns phone messages..He gives you quality time n threats u like a family member.Would highly recommend him.Office is spotless,wait time is not long at all(10mins)and office personnel is very nice.Had a problem for 4 years.Seen 3 other doctors.They Could not fix my health problem.He told me he can Help me.And he did..Works at top rated NYU.He deserves a 10.
