Dr. Brian M Go

Recently saw Dr. Brian Go for scheduled followup. Had ECG done and then seen by Dr. Go. Have been experiencing major all around fatigue, weakness and decline in quality of life issues for 6 months. Had heart attack back in 2013 and had 100% blockage in right coronary after having been told by different cardiologist a year earlier that those spasms in my chest were not my heart. Triple bypass in 2015 after nuclear stress test showed negative. Bottom line sought second opinion from other cardiologist last year. Dr. Go was clearly upset that I had done so. Started reading from journal that I tried to keep to look for trends but Dr. Go wasn't interested. What do you want me to do he asked. On past visits was told by Dr. Go that stress tests are inconclusive he jumped to conclusion that I wanted to do a catheter which though has risks is the gold standard for diagnostics. Grudgingly agreed to schedule the procedure but was clearly angry. Never reviewed the ECG. Continued on by writing a lengthy summary in notes of untruths of how I had seen 4 doctors in as many years which is false. Companies change healthcare networks and sometimes you have no options. Have seen 4 doctors over 10 years because of that. Even went as far as to include my visits to 2 neurologists after MRI showed 50 and 60 percent blockages in vertebral arteries after being sent by my NP at work or she would call 911 if I did not agree to go there immediately after long bout with vertigo. I will not have procedure done by Dr. Go and have lost all faith in our healthcare providers. On a positive note their cardiac rehab is excellent. They are losing one of there best. Beth, don't remember her last name is a saint. You want my opinion there you are. Next visit will not be to Wake Med unless taken there by ambulance like last time.

Dr. Go is patient, kind, answers every question & listens to your concerns. He makes you feel that you have made the best choice in his care & your choice.

Dr. Go is a very compassionate Cardiologist. He takes time to explain your medical condition and listens to your concerns. Would highly recommend to others.
