Had back surgery over 5 years ago and have been good since! He was honest and I feel like he had my best interest in mind

Dr Fitzpatrick is absolutely the best. He did my Chiari Malformation decompression surgery 19 years ago. He and his staff were very professional and kind. I highly recommend Dr Fitzpatrick.

My husband has to have two surgeries, by no fault of Dr.Fitzpatrick. He was amazing both times, as was his staff. He is an amazing surgeon!

I was experiencing severe nerve pain that had been misdiagnosed from a different clinic. I was referred to Dr. Fitzpatrick and was very relieved after my initial visit with him. He took the time to not only show me the cause of the pain visually from MRI images, but thoroughly explained the options, risks and potential results from each option. Together, we decided that surgery was my best option. He was able to schedule me quickly and performed spinal disc and stenosis surgery and I could not be more happy with the immediate results. My nerve pain disappeared immediately after the surgery, and I mean the second I woke up - The care from his office staff combined with the professionalism, experience and comforting bedside manner made this potentially horrible experience a very positive one. I highly recommend both Barrow Brain and Spine and Dr. Brian Fitzpatrick. Their reputation is earned and well deserved.

Dr. Fitzpatrick performed back surgery and did a brilliant, caring, and conservative job. I recommend him unconditionally.

Very disappointed with my appt. No physicial exam was done to assess the degree of function, weakness, numbness & impact on daily life. Was told to get an epidural injection of which I've had many & they do not impact weakness & numbness, may help with pain. There was no solution as to what to do in the short term to manage. Extremely fearful that I'm going to fall . Back to my pain management dr for help

Fitzpatrick was the most relaxed, confident doctor out of the 10 I had to deal with during my 2-inch brain tumor removal. He was curt, forward and he didn't really seem to care. THIS IS WHAT I WANT because it means he's seen it a million times and more importantly he had fixed it a million times to the point that it didn't stress him at all. I'm a 25 year old guy, I don't want someone to hold my hand and cry with me or tell me about the 1.5% danger of an infection or whatnot, save that stuff for my mom. I know theres a big chunk of cancer in my head, I want someone who can get it out mechanically and tell me realistically what to expect. He said usually its 3-6 months to return to good health but I got lucky since he didn't have to go into my brain completely. I might be fine within 6 weeks. I was back to work in 2-3 (I work at home on my computer to be fair) He's always answered questions at my eager pace and told me exactly what I need to hear, and as far as my actual surgery, I had more stomach issues from drugs at the hospital before I had even one headache after surgery... Maybe that's a dumb comparison but I know that its been 5 full months since surgery and i'd say i'm 95% back to normal thanks to this guy and the other doctors. Scar has healed magnificent its definitely there but not nearly as bad as what I've seen from others. I’m very thankful I had Dr. Fitzpatrick perform my neck surgery. After several long and painful years of neck and back pain I finally looked into having a neurosurgeon take a look at my MRI. Because of Dr. Fitzpatrick I am now pain free and wished I would have done this years ago. His office staff along with the staff at the surgery center were all incredible. Dr. Fitzpatrick is an unbelievable surgeon! I was literally unable to walk because of the extreme pain I was in before my surgery. I am now a new person - I have my life back! Dr. Fitzpatrick is so down to earth, communicates easily and genuinely cares about his patients. His knowledge and skill far surpasses the norm. I highly recommend Dr. Fitzpatrick!

I was a patient of Dr Fitzpatrick's for several yrs, as he did NOT immediately choose surgery but, instead, tried options, such as a brace & injections (by Dr Stephen Eisenfeld). Dr Fitzpatrick has done surgery on both my C-spine & lumbar spine: he was always very caring & explained everything thoroughly, even the "what if's". When I was seeing him, he was working a lot of trauma emergency calls &, therefore, was very busy. He could be focused &, some may read that as abrupt but, I always just chatted with him & always found him to be a caring & often funny man. I've recommended him to others & would not go to anyone else. I am 27 years old with a very bad degenerative spin (runs in the family). After visiting with several different doctors, I was recommend to see Dr. Brian Fitzpatrick. I could not be more thrilled with the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Fitzpatrick gave me my life back, not a day goes by that I don't think of the second chance he gifted me. He has a wonderful bedside manor and explains things in a way in which his patients will fully understand. Thank you for making life great again for me.

Excellent surgeon ! Cared for my husbands ruptured disc in neck- virtually painless. The office is very efficient and caring.

Dr. Fitzpatrick is one of the best neurosurgeons you can find. He is professional and is highly regarded by his peers, co-workers and staff. If you need the skilled hands of a neuro-surgeon and someone who truly cares about his patients select this physician.

Went in skeptically from experiences with other doctors. One meeting with Dr. Fitzpatrick and the solution was obvious to him. He got me in right away. He was to the point. Highly skilled. Excellent staff. Solved my problem. I had instant relief after my surgery. This was a life changing, positive experience for me.
