Dr England is just awesome. He’s very personable and always has understandable answers with any questions regarding the kidneys and medications.

When my husband was admitted to Memorial Mission hospital we were lucky enough to have Dr. England on rotation. During his first visit my husband asked if Dr. England would accept him as a patient. As an end stage renal failure patient and hearing of it for the first time my husband was terrified, but Dr. England's calm demeanor helped to ease his mind. Dr. England exudes knowledge, confidence and concern for your well being. Little did we know at this time that my husband's problems were just beginning. Within 6 months my husband developed staph in his blood which made it's way into his back causing osteomylitis and diskitis that literally ate away T11 and T12 leaving a large black hole and requiring a fusion across 6 levels. Prior to this his overall decline required that he begin dialysis. Once you require dialysis the Dr. attached to your dialysis unit becomes your primary physician and we lost Dr. England. I say we because I depend upon Dr. England as much as my husband does. Even though he is no longer the physician in charge I still call him (he gave me his cell number) with my concerns and he has continued to intervene on my husband's behalf whenever necessary. He has seen us through 4 months of hospitalization, 4 surgeries and a year of concern without being his physician and I would say that goes well beyond what anyone could expect from a doctor. And he has done all of this without one penny of compensation. I don't think there are words to convey our appreciation and respect for the most wonderful doctor and man that we have ever had the good fortune to be associated with.

Dr England saw me in a transfer from one hospital to another when I was in acute renal failure. He was very prompt, courteous and very understanding of my fears. He answered all my families questions and was very courteous with them. He was personalable. He asked questions and really evaluated the problem. His diagnosis was prompt and quick. His treatment plan was explained. I would really recommend him as a nephrologist.
