Can’t speak on the doctors but the receptionist over the phone I talked with was incredibly rude.

Dr Divelbiss is professional and excellent bedside manner. He answers questions thoroughly and has good instructions.

Dr Divelbiss is very knowledgeable in regard to hands. He was quick to order an x-ray that confirmed his diagnosis after visualizing my hand.

Dr Divelbiss has done procedures on both of my hands. Best surgeries I've ever had done. He is warm, friendly, and thorough. The staff is excellent and gives great care. I would definitely recommend Dr Divelbiss and KCOI to others.

I always have a great experience with and results from Dr. Divelbiss. He has operated on my hands numerous times; great results every time.

Dr. Divelbiss listened attentively and answered all of my questions. He clearly explained the process I would go through for the surgical procedure.

Doctor Divelbiss is awesome. Dose great work .

Communication service is very poor. Third party service is minimal support. No records in portal a month later. Call to office was no better. No one is ever available for a call, always have to leave several messages before ever receiving a reply and still no answers to direct questions/concerns.

Surgery time changed three times. Given varying pre-op instructions by different nurses that called. Dr. Divelbiss, Annie, pre-op and post-op nurses were very professional and helpful.

Had a trigger thumb and a cyst on the thumb joint that was painful. Dr. Divelbiss provided me a diagnosis after checking my thumb and recommended an injection which took care of the pain and popped the cyst. He is a pro and very polite and pleasant.

Called and was able to get an appointment the very next day. Dr. Divelbiss was very conservative in his diagnosis. He did not want to pump me full of shots to temporarily eliminate pain. Rather he suggested I try PT and report back in 4-6 weeks to see if pain mitigation was necessary. Refreshing that he did not go straight to pain management, which is limited with tennis elbow. I could not be more pleased and satisfied with Dr. Divelbiss. I had absolutely NO pain after surgery for ulnar nerve entrapment. I did not even have to take a Tylenol or any other pain medication. Due to COVID, I delayed seeking treatment for 6 months. Although I still have numbness in my hand, I am confident that it will improve given time. I've had prior surgeries done at KCOI and have been more than satisfied each time. I could not be more pleased and satisfied with Dr. Divelbiss. After much research, I'm so glad I chose Dr. Divelbiss for my orthopedic care. I found the staff to be very professional and compassionate. Everyone I encountered for my 1st visit deserves 5 stars. Went to Dr. Divelbiss for a second opinion as a previous ortho that specializes in hand and wrist had recommended an MRI and surgery as the first option for what we all believed to be a ganglion cyst on my wrist. Dr. Divelbiss actually took the time to ask questions, simple questions, like where and when does it hurt. After my replies, he advised me that it was not a ganglion cyst but rather De Quervain's tenosynovitis. He gave me a shot in the wrist and my pain was alleviated. Highly recommend him. Experts in their field, Dr. Divelbiss and entire team of physicians and staff are very professional, and the office is extremely efficient and well run. They are friendly and personable, but you know your care is their primary concern. You won’t find better orthopedic health care in the Kansas City area.

Dr. Divelbiss did my CMC arthroplasty. He’s an incredible hand surgeon and has a warm bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to have any kind of hand surgery. His staff is friendly and warm and his PA, Annie, and MA Heather, are awesome.

My experience was nothing but impressive. I was a new patient and in one visit I was Xrayed, evaluated, received treatment, was seen by Physical Therapy, fitted for a custom set of orthopedic braces that were made on the spot and sent home with me. I have been a patient of Dr. Divelbiss for many years. He is an excellent doctor, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. He takes the time to listen and answer all your questions and concerns. He recently performed carpal tunnel surgery on my hand and the results were positive . I would definitely recommend him.

My visit to Dively & Dixon today was just an experience of Heaven on Earth. I can't remember when I've ever had such a wonderful visit to a doctor's office. Before Dr. Divelbiss came in to see me for my first visit to his office, both a nurse and a nurse practitioner did an extensive interview with me to be 100% clear about my needs and wishes, and went over my options in careful detail. Then Dr. Divelbiss came in, and he was the kindest, most thoughtful, most enjoyable orthopedist--or doctor in general--that I have ever seen. It is so nice to know that I have a doctor like this that I count on for my orthopedic problems for the rest of my life. The whole clinic is just terrific.
