I was a little concerned about having my Drs visit by phone, but Dr Coyne was able to address my needs and concerns with no trouble. I was able to have my questions answered, get the RXs I needed and got the referrals I requested.

I visited Dr. Coyne a couple of times in the last month. He was very professional, very informative and made me feel very comfortable discussing my confidential health issues. I am happy to have him as my primary cary physician. Every time I see him I am so impressed how attentive he is to my concerns. I am so grateful to have him as my primary care physician.

Disorganized, slow, not worth trusting with health concerns. Waste of time & money.

I am writing this hoping to bring some attention to what I continue to experience looking for primary care physicians. I have been looking for a new Primary care Dr for my son moving from pediatric to adult. Dr Coyne was another recommended Dr, website shows he takes our insurance also shows accepting new patients. However upon calling I find that they are not accepting All patients only those with HMO due to “contract commitments” will continue the search for a good Dr for my son to start his adult health care journey with. Very frustrating that even with good insurance we are turned away. I would advise updating your website to show this so people can exclude up front when researching new physicians.

I've been a patient of Dr. Coyne's for many years. I've never once walked out of his office feeling rushed or unheard. He takes the time to listen, ask questions, and answer questions. I know that my health is in knowledgeable hands!

Amazing experience from the time I booked the appt online until I walked out the door. Convenient scheduling and appt reminders. Friendly staff. On time appt. Great Dr. visit. He asked questions AND listened. Lab work order and prescription sent immediately. I couldn't be happier!!!

Don't expect the front office staff at this practice to go out of their way to help you. Also expect 45 min wait times on hold to get an appointment and they do not have an online option for appointment scheduling. It took me weeks to schedule my last appt because I kept needing to hang up after 20, 30 min on hold because I was at work, call back again, same thing. So frustrating and if you mention the hold times to the staff they get an attitude about it. Dr. Coyne is my husband's primary and we were required by orthopedics to have surgical clearance by his office. Our surgeon sent over all necessary referrals, the office staff (Corrina specifically) repeatedly couldn't find them, kept sending us in other directions without clear instructions. Finally advised us to pick up lab slips at the front desk, which could easily be transmitted electronically to Quest Lab, we took the trip to the office and she claimed to not know anything about it. Ever had to deal with someone that just doesn't like their job? That's her. Passive aggressive, unhelpful. The rest of the front office staff isn't any better. I sat waiting for my appointment with Dr. Shoquist watching the girls with their masks on their chins chewing and belching. I know good help is hard to find but this is a doctor's office, try to be a little more polished. I did a lot of research in choosing Dr. Coyne for my husband and Dr. Shoquist for myself. The doctor's are ok, no complaints, but their practice is such a mess that we need to find new primaries. Don't expect the front office staff at this practice to go out of their way to help you. I have been seeing Dr. Coyne for many years. I drive 250 miles round trip just to see him. I think he is a GREAT doctor and a very kind man. However, he doesn't let me get away with lame excuses for not following his medical advice.

FCC Fountain Valley has very minimal waiting time, both nurse & Doctor are friendly, professional. Dr. Coyne always walk in With a smile, he patiently explain to all my questions. I have a very happy experience of this annual wellness check up.

Dr Coyne is very friendly and easy to talk. He is an excellent physician.

I have been fortunate to have Dr Coyne as my primary physician since about 2006. In all the years I have never been anything but glad to have him as my Doctor. Not only is he a great guy but the staff is always friendly and helpful to.

Very attentive, very professional Answer question about my medical treatment! His plan for treatment is excellent. His medical staff are also excellent and shows they really care. Went far and beyond what’s expected! Altogether the care that I received was super exceptional!!!! Highly recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Coyne listens to what I am telling him. He isn't just typing into a computer and handing me a prescription. He is engaging me and letting me participate in my care.

Talks and LISTENS to you and never seems rushed for time but still manages to keep on schedule. Records all the salient points of your visit and provides a complete print out of status and recommendations when you leave. He has been my Primary Care Doctor for 10+ years.

Dr Coyne is patient, explains things clearly and always puts me at ease. I have had several serious issues over the years and he has always diagnosed them well and quickly put me on a good path to recovery.

Dr Coyne is always super nice n understanding. He has taken care of my mom for several years. She is now 86 n starting to lose her memory but he continues to do what’s best for her. I’m hoping to make him my dr real soon. He is knowledgeable and does a great job.

Takes time to answer questions. I believe that he cares that you get the correct treatment for your problem.

Dr. Coyne is awesome. He is one of the few doctors I have seen that even when he is busy still has time to take a personal interest in me as a patient and can actually smile and put me at ease. Even when results of tests and visits are not the best he still can be honest with you in a respectful and stress free way when giving advice for improvement. I have been with him for years and trust and respect him to the highest degree.

Excellent doctor..easy to talk to…attentive and very thorough and knowledgeable.

Dr. Coyne listens to what I am concerned about and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed or that my concern is not important. He is a very through doctor and I am impressed by that quality!

Dr Coyne took his time to examine my situations and competently and professionally prescribed and performed his duties as my doctor for over 20 Years.

I took my mother to see him and he gave his full attention and REALLY LISTENED to your concerns not like other physicians. He was very detailed and great at explaining his recommendations. He was full of life!

Dr. Coyne is an Amazing Dr. he cares about his patients and listens to them. He also as an Amazing office staff kind and helpful. Love Dr. Coyne and hope to always be with him.
