he did very good with my daughter when she was a baby and corrected her feet. He is an excellent, very patient, understanding doctor.

My son saw his regular pediatrician for hip pain that was thought to be just growing pains and turned out to be a slipped Capital epiphysis (hope I speed that correctly). His ball joint and long bone of his leg slipped out of place and was causing him pain. Dr. Black had X-rays taken and promptly jumped into action regarding my then 14 year old son. He scheduled surgery and explained completely what would be done and how long recovery would take. My son had 2 screws out into the hip to hold it and was then on the road to recovery. I thank God this went well and surgery was a success. He is back at running, jumping and even martial arts. Took him out for a while but he recovered a lot quicker than was originally thought. Staff was wonderful as was the doctor. Thank you for your great work. Receptionist is very rude and condescending, needs lessons on phone etiquette.Saw Dr. Black as a child for scoliosis, he is a great Dr. maybe he should rethink the staff that represents him.

Dr Black performed orthopedic surgery on my daughter Zoey when she was around 10 months old. He is an excellent doctor truly well respected. I would recommend him to anyone needing a great orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. BLACK did a wonderful job on my son when he was 8 month old until he was 18 year old and yes I recommend him 100 % and if anything happen to me I could loves to have him to do the surgery on me:) my son missed him that his Bubba best friend:)

Circa 2005 Dr. Black performed surgery on my broken (broken not fractured) clavicle when I was ~13 years of age. The surgery was successful and it's as though I'd never broken the bone. I have full range of motion and if the scar wasn't present you'd have no idea I ever had an issue with the bone. I'm extremely grateful for his effort as well as the team that was in the OR when the surgery occured. Luckily, it was the only serious injury I experienced in the pediatric range but had it been different and I needed some other intervention I would not have hesitated to go to Dr. Black once again. I'm ever thankful to him, his expertise, and his training for getting me back to 100%. I couldn't express or grasp how grateful I was at the time being 13, however, I wanted to leave a review a decade down the line after realizing how fantastic of a surgeon he is. I went into the doctors office feeling like crap and I came out feeling like a million bucks he knew exactly what was wrong with me thank you Dr John I'm on my way back to see Dr John again and it's been a year for a checkup I thank God for awesome: doctors.
