I did PRP injections for my knee. Dr Spain did a wonderful job. It improved the pain, I am going to continue the injections. Thank you Dr. Spain.

Dr. Spain helped me with my shoulder injury. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and listened well. I feared surgery, but after reassuring me about my MRI report, I only need physical therapy at this time. I highly recommend him!

Always a good experience with Dr Spain understands my issues, advises on at home treatments wish the wait was less though otherwise a great doctor

Had my first therapy session with Dr. Spain. Very good bed side manor which is important when visiting a new doctor. He bent me like a pretzel for sure but in a good way. The treatment he is giving me looks promising. Looking forward to my next visit.

My follow up visit was thorough. Good advice had on playing golf with my injury. Great bedside manner. Would recommend him

Dr. Spain is thorough, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. There are never long wait times and he works with a fantastic team of doctors and physical therapists who work together for your treatment. Both my husband and I love his treatment style and his demeanor. We have had our share of injuries over the years (we are both over 50) and he is the best Ortho doctor we have ever been to.

On time, answered all questions and patiently explained possible outcomes regarding my knee concerns

I have been under Dr Spain’s care for several years now. He takes the time to listen to my issues and has always steered me in the right direction whether it’s with medication, physical therapy or pain management. Total Orthopedics of Massapequa and Park Therapy are in the same building making it convenient to go from your doctor’s appointment to PT all in one shot!

Had a visit with Dr. Spain and felt so reassured when I left. He answered all of my questions and made me feel like I was a person, not a number. Would definitely come back!

I had no scheduled appointment and hoped I might have Dr. Spain extend his day and fit me in late on a holiday weekend. He and his fine staff welcomed me with open arms and evaluated my injury, fitted me for a brace so I was comfortable and scheduled an MRI. I got a call the next day with the MRI confirm number from Dr. Spain’s staff to book my appointment. I received top shelf treatment with no appointment as well as an accurate assessment of what the source of my discomfort was. You simply will not find a more talented and caring doctor than Dr. Brett Spain nor will you find a more accommodating staff. If you are looking for top shelf and accurate orthopedic care I recommend that you contact his office today.

Dr. Spain diagnosis and recommended treatment for my hamstring injury allowed me to quickly recover and return to running. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Spain is such a nice man. Wonderful doctor he is unbelievably thorough in his examination as well as explaining what is wrong with you. Dr Spain gives you suggestions as what could possibly help you with your problem. He’s a great Doctor taking his time doing his best to help his patients feel better.

Wonderful, Painless and Pleasant!

Dr. Spain was professional and helpful in his diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately his staff is rude and unethical. After my follow up appointment I will not be using his office for continued care. It truly is unfortunate leaving this review but missing paperwork, being hung up on twice, and in the office I was met with sarcasm and rude comments is unacceptable. “Your not the only patient today” of course not and waiting is not an issue but being hung up on multiple times and rude comments are unnecessary. I’m sure your reading this and think I must have been upset or said something that warranted such a response but I absolutely did not. It’s a shame nothing will come of this review I’m sure I will be blown off as an irate patient. Dr. Spain you should really have a conversation with your staff about handling ethical situations under stressful times because your staff clearly failed here today. I have no intention of keeping this review up long as to not damage Dr. Spain reputation

Afterwards he sent me for a Thoricac MRI for a clearer picture as to what was going on . He also refered us to the appropriate Dr. Surgeons ! We would need absolutely recommend Dr Spain

This is actually the third time being treated by Dr Spain. I saw him 2 years ago after taking a trip down the stairs and injuring my ankle badly. He healed it completely! Next visit was last year when he treated me for torn meniscus in both knees. After explaining I did not want surgery at this time, he said gel shots might buy me some time. Or may not! Totally honest about it. And just now trying the gel shots once again as I got a year out of the last ones! Couldn’t be happier with him ! Great bedside, kind manner!

My first visit to dr Spain and I can tell you that he is an excellent orthopedist, he really helped me out

This was my first ever visit to any orthopedist of any kind. Dr. Spain was recommended to me but I had previously met him when I accompanied a patient of his for an office visit. He was very professional, knowledgeable and understanding and most importantly, conservative in his approach for treating the issue for which I went to see him.

I have no problem with Dr Spain, but the Deer Park office is run about as terrible an office can be run. I just sat in waiting for almost 1 hour and was told I would not be in a room for at least another 10 minutes, and then another 15 before I get seen by the Dr. The girl behind the desk I spoke with was rude and inconsiderate and told me waiting this long is normal and if people in front of me are late I have to wait for them. When Dr Spain works at any other office I'll gladly go back but this office is just run so bad. I've been the the other office and the people behind the desk were pleasent and accomdating.
