Dr. Brent E Finley

Came into the room to meet my husband and I for the first time, didn't introduce self, glanced at his papers and just said everything looked "boring". Seemed to be tip-toeing out of the room and I had to stop him to ask a question. The whole interaction was 2 minutes and felt like he wasn't interested at all. Then left without so much as a goodbye. 0/10 would not recommend. Making it a point to call the office ahead of my appointments the rest of my pregnancy to make sure he isn't working that day or there is at least another doctor available.

Terrible experience. Not friendly at all. Didn’t introduce himself when he came in. Very bullying attitude. Very rushed discussion, did not ask if we had any questions. Very disorganized, it seemed as though he hadn’t even looked at my chart before he walked in. He was asking me the results of a test that his office ordered ( which was the purpose of the visit, he was supposed to tell me the results and discuss them with me). Complete waste of my time.

We found out this week at 35 weeks pregnant that he has neglected to tell us information that we find to be very important. His laid back attitude seems great until you realize he just doesn’t care about his patients

Doctor sucks in my opinion he told me my son was safer inside me and 2 weeks later my son died from the same complications I was getting seen for. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Finley saved my life. I had a rare pregnancy disorder and he changed his schedule to stay as my doctor over the weekend at Overland Park regional. Really laid back doctor who helped keep my anxiety low in a very scary time in my life.

Super laid back and welcoming. While it was a quick experience, he was just very reassuring and motivating. The nurses on his team are also amazing.

Saw this dr during my pregnancy for a fibroid that was at my birth canal. He never explained anything. He would be in the room for about two minutes. One particular time I did ask about the fibroid his response was “yep it’s still there”. My last appointment before my delivery it was discovered from the lady doing the ultrasound that the fibroid has gotten larger. However the dr didn’t even come into the room. I don’t think I would recommend this dr especially if you’re a first time mom because he didn’t seem to care about my concerns.

Absolutely love dr Finley! He’s very blunt (in a good way), and to the point... and I LOVE THAT! Especially dealing with a high risk identical twin pregnancy. He doesn’t sugar coat things, but instead informs you in the most uplifting way of the things that could go good or bad. I trust his opinion over everyone’s! Such a kind and trustworthy doctor! He knows his stuff! If he tells me something I always take his word for it because he is very cautious and wouldn’t tell you something if he didn’t whole heartedly believe it was best! 10/10 recommend this office! Dr. Finley was a great doctor. I had a high risk pregnancy and was a type 2 diabetic. I received great care through out my pregnancy. I had to be on hospital bed rest at Overland Park regional and the doctors including him were an awesome team. My son is a healthy 1 year old and I recommend anyone with a high risk pregnancy to go there at Midwest prenatal.
