He does run late with his office visits, but that’s not unusual for doctors. I was referred by a hospital I was a patient at via the ER to one of their Infectious Disease doctors. It’s a for profit health system, so keep the $$$ in the same pot. I gave him the name “Drill Sargent”. Don’t ask questions, just do what he says. When found out Roswell had an ID Dept. and have been a patient there 20+ years, I did set referral to him. Extremely knowledgeable about my particular disease. Totally changed my meds. Yes would recommend him, but you do already have to be aRoswell patient.

Dr Segal has been directing my treatment for Hepatitis B for about one year. His advice and treatment have kept my problem in check. He gives excellent advice and orders that I am able to understand and follow. He was very pro-active when I developed signs of infection. Thank you Doctor Segal.

Patient at Roswell Park CCC 24 years. Several clinics. Dr. Segal is in the top 3 of the doctors I have had, and in 24 years, with several clinics, I’ve had many doctors. He’s top in his field of Infectious Disease.

Discussed with other service providers pros vs risks of service change. Listens to me and answers my questions. Top in his field.

I had a phone conversation with Dr Segal during Covid because of my concern of his policies for Roswell to mix covid positive patients and other patients on the same floor. I am a Roswell cancer patient. I was afraid of being admitted to a covid positive floor at Roswell . I am covid negative. I wanted to speak to the head of infectious disease to address my concerns. He had absolutely no empathy for my situation. I told him that I could not believe that Roswell did not isolate their covid patients on a separate floor. He said that was “ impractical “. I asked why I was not told that I would be next to covid patients on the floor. He snidely replied “if you are admitted to Roswell you may be on a floor with Covid patients. “ He doesn’t know how to care for vulnerable patients as clearly shown by his poor policies. He made me feel scared instead of reassured. Extremely arrogant. Should not be taking care of Cancer patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Segal for about 3 years. I was referred to him by another doctor who could not make a diagnosis of my lung condition. I became ill with a chronic cough and weight loss. Dr. Segal performed blood work, chest scans and sputum tests to finally determine my condition. I was very afraid I might have cancer or TB. I was finally diagnosed with a chronic Macrobacterium and put on 3 strong antibiotics for 2 years. Dr. Segal saw me every 3 months to follow up with tests to make sure I was doing fine. He is a very compassionate doctor who takes the time to explain everything. He can always be reached with any questions and I am most grateful to him and his staff. I highly recommend him and dont know where I would be without his care. Thank you Dr. Segal.

I must be very thankful for the excellent care I received. The doctor looked at me and ordered several tests. I was taken in for a chest x-ray within minutes. Then Phlebotomy did my blood draw within minutes. After returning home I received a phone call from Dr. Segal. He told me that I had the flu. This is a very serious diagnosis for me because I am battling AML. Now I am on THERAFLU and on the road to recovery. Thank you Roswell Park, Dr. Segal and your wonderful nurse. My husband has been an ongoing pt at Roswell for over 5 years. He is stable and we are managing his care at home with periodic visits to our doctors. Over the weekend however his temp was over 103 with confusion and more. As we monitored his temp we decided to wait till morning. Temp was only 101 but blood pressure was low. We called Dr Segals ofc and found that he was out of town. His PA Jessica just took over. She notified After Hours Clinic and they called us saying we should bring him in My husband appeared a bit better and I told them we’d wait (Didn’t want to cry wolf). The next day Jessica called and told us to come in to his clinic to be evaluated. Not only did we see Dr Segal but had X-ray, bloodwork. After our visit Dr ordered sonogram, echo and CT. To our surprise this was all done the same day. We see several Doctors at Roswell and they are all Excellent My husband has a condition that has required our doctors to think outside the box for his specific treatment and they have all done that. I am so Thankful that OurLord brought us to the care of Roswell Doctors

I had appointments at Phlebotomy and CT Departments on 9-18 2019. My appointment with Dr. Segal is scheduled for 9:45 am on 9-25-2019
