Another doctor wants to try a spinal cord stimulator to relieve pain in my lower spine. Dr Heigis agreed it was a good idea . Dr Heigis is very easy to talk with and asked a lot of questions about past treatments and surgeries on my spine. His personal interest in my condition was excellent. I highly recommend him for any spine issues.

I have had three back surgeries and Dr. Hedges has taken good care of me during my surgeries. He is very professional, caring and let's you know every detail from beginning to end. I would not trust anyone with my back.

I was greeted with a smile and staff was very helpful. The nurse and xray technician was so polite. DR. I've been seeing Dr Heiges since 2005. He has preformed several back surgeries on me and I put my trust in him totally. He takes as much time with you as you need, explains things so it's easy to understand and never pushes surgery on you.????

I was in for results of MRI. I got the news I was expecting. Will get treatment to help Alleviate the pain. Dr. Heiges always listens to me and doesn’t treat me as if I am there for meds. I never ask for them. I just want to be fixed not medicated. He does his best to figure out the best plan for me.

Dr Heiges has treated me for various spinal problems over the past 15 years. Most recent visit was for a one year post operation checkup from a S1-L4 spinal fusion in March 2021. Dr Heiges took the time to listen to my questions and provided answers and guidance for moving forward. By following his recommendation after my 6-7 month post operative appointment, I began a daily stretching program and also walking or other forms of low impact aerobic exercise. Great news is, I am much better today than prior to surgery and progressing each week. For a guy my age (64) I have very few limitations. With the most recent medical issue or others in the past, Dr Heiges has always took the time to treat me with various less invasive procedures and ONLY recommend surgery when abosultley necessary. Because of insurance reasons, I was required to get second opinions. Each time the other physician's validated Dr. Heiges's diagnoses and treatment recommedations.

Dr. Heiges has treated both myself and my husband in the past, and I have just recently returned to him with another medical issue. He is a wonderful doctor, always takes time to listen to my concerns and is very caring and compassionate.

I'm very satisfied with Optim Orthopedics

He is a good surgeon and he cares about your recovery and well being afterwards. He has treated my husband on two different locations of the spine and he also took my sister as a patient while she was fighting stage 4 lung cancer. He is thought of highly by our entire family.

Dr. Heiges restored my trust in the medical field. I’ve been his patient since 2016. He has seen me through some difficult times and I owe him a great debt of gratitude. Dr. Heiges is attentive, compassionate and knowledgeable. Just a top shelf Doctor. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I highly recommend Doctor Heiges to anyone needing orthopedic treatment or surgery.

I didn't have a long wait to be seen. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand, I appreciate that. Dr Heigas and Matthew made me feel like they are concerned about my well being

I paid to see a specialist. Got to see the PA. I don’t have muscle pain but that’s what was prescribed. Muscle pain medication. Showed up a half hour early and was was seen 45 minutes after the appointment time.

The Optim Orthopedic doctors and nurses are very professional. Dr Heiges' nurse always call me right back if I have any questions and/or concerns. I hope nobody needs orthopedic help, but if they do I recommend them.

I would not even consider another cervical surgery if the surgeon was anyone other than Dr. Bradley Heiges. He literally gives me a feeling of safety because he exudes confidence and competence and compassion. I wouldn't want to face this with anyone but him.

Dr Heiges has treated me for years. He is an excellent surgeon and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to both listen to and advise his patients on their medical concerns. He is thorough in testing and treating his patients. He does not push surgeries unnecessarily. However if surgery is required he is one of the best. I highly recommend him.

Great doctor, he got me back on my feet after a lower back injury in 2004, then again in 2009 due to a neck injury, had surgery on both and still going strong today. I recommend him to anyone.....

A true professional with excellent bedside manners. Due to injuries I sustained in combat (Somalia, Iraq) I had some major issues with my lower back. Dr Hieges recommended what I needed to have done and went over it several times to ensure I understood what was needed which lessoned my fears. Not wanting to be down for a long period of time I asked him to take of the worst issues first and I would try and endure the rest. He didn't put up a fuss or change his attitude. He listened to me and fixed what needed to be fixed first. He and his staff were in constant contact with me during my recovery. What I like best was his listening to what I had to say and coming up with some solutions to fix it. I would recommend Dr Hieges to anyone who needs spinal surgery. I trust him! He has a very good manner with patients that are hurting. He tells it like it is and what he can do to help. He has a pain management doctor who he works closely with to get the very best results. Dr Hegerty is an excellent pain management doctor who does not push pills but results. Would highly recommend both of them as a team.

Dr Heiges performed surgery on my back in 2006. This visit on 5/13/2020, was my first visit from that time. This visit was everything I thought it would be, thorough and satisfying. Because I knew he get to the root of the problem.

Doctor was very considerate of condition and my time. He is very good. I have and would recommend him.
