I'm new to Texas and needed to find a doctor and thankfully I found Dr. Carpentier. He and his staff are hands down the best. they never made me feel like I was just a number. He took the time to get to know me as a person and listened to me. thank you so much Dr. Carpentier

First time going to this Dr. he is very knowledgeable and cares about your situation. I felt a comfort level with him and he identified what others failed to identify over a decade ago. It is a relief to find someone that understands the toll chronic pain takes on your mental state. But to find someone who has the answer is like finding the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I have read the other reviews-not sure if they are reviewing the same Doctor. I enjoyed to office, they're all friendly and attentive. I really didn't know how great this office was until I moved to NC. I should have stayed and finished up my procedure there. It has been 2 years since I left and I have had 2 doctors, including DUKE leave me in tears and more pain. Duke suggested to finish where I left with Dr. Carpentier to cancel and backtrack to my face and deny the procedure that he was okay with hours before and the one that Dr. Carpentier was ready to do(but I left the state). I am ready to quit my job, drive halfway across the US and live in my car to see Dr. Carpentier again. I enjoyed to office, they're all friendly and attentive. Dr. Carpentier is awesome!!! All my back and neck pain he has help manage. Pain free for months, simple procedures with lasting results. The entire staff is so nice and are always eager to help. Bed side manner from him and his assistant is beyond reproach!!! I fought for a year after retirement to get back to him and these passed two weeks I have. My back pain in under control again. Dr. Carpentier is an exceptional doctor. I have had chronic pain for nearly 20 years and he has made a huge impact on the quality of my life. I don’t understand the negative reviews. I honestly feel like the patients who left negative reviews were not open minded to a new treatment approach......which is why you get referred to a specialist after your previous treatments haven’t been working.... but whatever. He is a no frills doctor, which I appreciate because it means he is not going to over-prescribe meds or subject you to unnecessary testing. He is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Yes my process has taken months not weeks due to multiple circumstances, but I am happy to have him tackle my issue methodically to ensure that it actually gets resolved as much as is possible. His staff is super friendly, and the culture that exists there is clearly one to make sure the patient is taken care of. I was previously seen at other Military Installations' Pain Management clinic for over three and half years, but my pain was keeping getting worse. Military providers diagnosis me for Chronic Pain Syndrome but nothing else, even without effective treatment. I was losing all my hopes towards my wide-spread physical pain. Until this year, I was referred out to meet Dr. Carpentier. He resorted my faith for fixing my pains. Dr. Carpentier is super knowledgeable and intelligent in solving medical puzzles. Also, he is very approachable as well. So far, my treatment is quite effective and I have no hesitation at all for my continuation care . I felt I was so lucky having my previous provider referred me out to this Amazing Doctor.

I left the state before finishing my Occipital RF ablation with him 2 years ago. What I learned from this is, if you go to his office you WILL ACTUALLY GET THE CARE YOU NEED. Like I said, 2 years ago I left, and I am still waiting for treatment in NC, even with being my own advocate. He knows what needs to get done and his staff knows how to handle referrals and proper coding. To put this into perspective, from referral to initial appointment from Duke has been a 9 month wait. with Dr. Carpentier, no more than 3 weeks, and treatment usually started the week after the appointment. I absolutely loved the office while I was there, and now I know that he is the gold standard for Pain Management.

If you have chronic pain due to Lupus, Arthritis or any autoimmune disease don’t waste your time going here. The only thing he can suggest is physical therapy to keep you moving. He said it could take years to work ????. He is also very condescending and seems like a know it all. He doesn’t listen and doesn’t offer any useful advice other than just to live with your pain. I was the first appointment of the day, and yet he was 30 minutes late. It felt more like an interrogation than a medical appointment. Cancelled my follow up. Will go with another Dr. Also will file a complete so that he can not work with military patients. Had the bedside manner of a caged porcupine. I went home in tears.

Very rude and unprofessional! He not only was beyond rude but even swore at me in the room, then followed me out of the room cussing at me in the lobby. I filed a report on him so hopefully no one will ever have to deal with him and his poor attitude again.

Dr. Carpentier is the first doctor to take me seriously in more than 20 years of living in pain. He exhaustively searched and expertly applied medical techniques, combining meds, trigger point injections, RF ablation, and referring me to and working with neurology, rheumatology and orthopedics to ensure I got the best treatment. He and his staff knew me by name and new my issues, taking a personal interest in my health and healing. The level of care and treatment I received by Dr. Carpentier and his team is absolutely the best I have ever experienced, raising the bar so high that finding another pain management doctor (after leaving the Killeen area for work) has been nearly impossible. I will look to relocate to the area just so I can continue treatment with him in the future. I suppose it may be asked, why, if he is so.good at what he does, would I need continued care?
