Took my 13 yo daughter for knee pain with activity. He was so professional and courteous and made my shy daughter feel at ease. Dr. Mitchell took ample time to answer and explain any and all concerns her mom and I had.

This was my first time meeting Dr Mitchell, to have my knee evaluated. He seemed very knowledgeable and compassionate and explained my problem to me so I could understand. Very good qualities; unfortunately my joint had already progressed to the point that I need surgery,(he doesn't do surgery). He was still very helpful, caring and encouraging.

Right away he knew what my problem was and had a plan to treat me.

Dr. Mitchell is knowledgeable and professional. He immediately suggested a treatment plan.

Visit due to swollen ankle edema from fall a few weeks ago. Ordered US in case of blood clot but none thankfully. Dr has great bedside manner. Pleased.

I was seen at the urgent care clinic for a knee that had been painful for two weeks and was not responding to supportive care measures. Dr. Mitchell discussed the x-rays with me, and quickly identified the issue during the assessment. He thoroughly explained the treatment modality. All procedures were provided with care and efficiency.

I was in and out in about an hour with x-rays and Dr visit....very pleasant Dr. Explained everything so I could understand.

Dr Mitchell listened to my situation and explained the possible causes and methods to help alleviate the problems. He took time to explain what could be causing the pain. Dr Mitchell then reiterated the information as it is a lot to understand.

Brought my son in as a new patient to the walk-in clinic. The staff were very nice and, despite not having any sort of appointment, they immediately got us entered into the system, back to an exam room, triaged, xrays and seen by the doctor in a very timely manner. Dr. Mitchell was wonderful and immediately made my 8 year old son feel at ease. I would recommend him highly to anyone! He and his staff were great!

Dr. Mitchell is always professional and takes time to ensure his patients are taken care of. He takes the time to explain The condition in a way everyone can understand. This is my second time to need his assistance and am very happy both times! He is no longer at Hixson but now at the Battlefield Pkwy location.
