Google the story of Jason and Melissa Diaz, who took every precaution to have an IVF baby to avoid the genetic predisposition to stomach cancer in the father and his family. Kolb and company implanted an embryo that in fact had the problematic gene and now their baby boy is facing terrible medical problems as he grows up. Kolb and company may have to go into the Brazilian Butt Lift biz after the lawsuit they are facing. This is as bad as when a doctor amputates a person's healthy limb or removes the wrong organ. Inexcusable.

Dr. Kolb is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring fertility doctor I could've found. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He treats every one of his many patients, as unique and special as each of us is. He really makes you feel he's always rooting for you. His dedication and professionalism shows he really cares. From the first phone call, email and office visit to the last I can't Say Thank you enough to each and everyone at HRC! Excellent facility, knowledgeable & friendly staff, and an amazing doctor. Finding a nursing staff like this office has is hard to come by, absolutely every single one of them are not only very knowledgeable but very friendly!!! We began our journey building our family in 2016.  As an LGBT couple we were concerned about being accepted and feeling welcomed into a fertility clinic.  We did our research and shopped around.  The day we met with Dr. Kolb we knew we had found our dream team.  Not only was the location beautiful and the staff beyond friendly, but Dr. Kolb was easygoing and honest with us.  He took his time and answered all of our crazy questions/concerns.  IVF can be a brutal endeavor, we never once felt lost in the process with HRC. We got pregnant with our 1st baby with Dr. Kolb and his team.  We used my wife's egg, and I carried. It was an amazing experience. For baby number 2 we wanted to use my egg, and we thought we'd save money trying IUI through Kaiser. (That was a mistake!) We went to numerous different doctors, some saying I couldn't get pregnant, some saying maybe I could.  After a year and a half, we still didn't get clear answers and ultimately wasted several thousands of dollars, several heartaches, and physical reactions (OHSS) to meds. Finally, after 6 failed IUIs, I was told I couldn't get pregnant for reasons they couldn't be sure of. We knew that if anyone could get us pregnant it would be Dr Kolb. We called our amazing nurse at HRC,  Natalie (she's the best), and she gave us guidance and set us up with a consultation. Our first meeting with Dr. Kolb and the team was so reassuring and exciting. They truly take care of you from the beginning.  After some testing,  Kolb said I am completely healthy, and should have no problem getting pregnant. We proceeded with IVF, and got pregnant on the first try! Dr. Kolb and his team have been supportive throughout the entire process. If we have any questions, we can call at any time and get answers or reassurance from the dedicated,  knowledgable, and kindhearted nurses. The HRC team is like family. Even the lab team is great. After our journey, Dr. Kolb and the HRC team are the only fertility team we would recommend.  They kept us informed, closely monitored and cared for my wife, myself, and our precious babies. We have a beautiful perfect boy from them, and more in the oven. It is the only team I trust with our fertility, and they will definitely be the only place we go in the future! Dr Kolb is amazing, he has so many patients but he remembers our conversation, and very caring! The nurse Claudia is such an angel, she never forgets anything, always kept me posted about what was going on and helps me went through the nervous process. She still asks me about how I was doing after the procedure and even scheduled my post retrieval check before the egg retrieval day. I love her! The entire process wasn’t easy but working with them you will find things went fast! I had a great time working with them. Dr Kolb is a a great Dr it was a pleasure working with him and all his staff are so helpful! Especially Claudia she is the most humble nurse to ever work with! She’s like a sister from a distance. Working with them was so comforting Andy needs are so important and they where always met. Thank you for everything!

Where to begin? Everyone at HRC Pasadena was amazing to me from beginning to end!!! From the receptionist to the lab techs to my nurse Cynthia not to mention Dr. Kolb !! I felt comfortable to ask any questions that came to mind and at ease knowing my questions and doubts would be answered. My nurse was amazing throughout the process, always there when I needed her and so quick to get me answers and work around any obstacles that came our way! I felt cared for every second I was speaking to her and every time I saw her. Dr. Kolb made my embryo transfer comfortable and helped me relax by explaining every thing he was doing and how the process was going to be. Of all the fertility doctors I have worked with Dr. Kolb was by far the best. He truly cares and in our case, spent a lot of time with us to make sure we had a successful cycle. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Kolb is very irresponsible , his team managed confusely.I had my prossedor done with Dr. Kolb, he only met with me three times in the whole process. And each time under five minutes. His nurse did all my procedure with me but she was very unprofessional. She forgot to gave me my take home medicine.I live 2 hours away from the HRC, four hours drive and don’t even have an apology? I am 26 years old, I have 20+ eggs after using medicines, he only took 5 eggs out bc he made some mistakes.

Excellent doctor. Perfect comunication. All the staff wonderfull work, very kind. The clinic ok. I recomend Dr. Kolb for egg donation and surrogacy program with an ecellent work with me.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Kolb and the nursing staff at HRC Pasadena. Dr Kolb was always kind and reassuring. He has a very nice manner. He is sympathetic yet professional. Very personable and always made me feel well taken care of. The office was extremely accommodating when I had an emergency and needed to come in for a quick exam.
