Excellent provider

The pleasure was mine. I was put at ease immediately. I’m scared of knee surgery, your comment “the decision is yours” made me rethink my decision. After draining the fluid off my knee, I’ve gotten a hugh amount of relief. I will see the Doc in the fall to schedule my surgery. He’s a blessing along with his assistants.

Dr Meister did rotator cuff surgery on both of my shoulders. He did an excellent job. His staff was very helpful and professional. I recommend him without reservation.

I went to this doctor in hopes that he could help me. I have been living in terrible pain for so long. My husband and i sat in the exam room and Dr. MEISTER finally came in. He didnt address me. He didnt look at me. He didnt say hello to me. Instead, he spoke to my husband about Kubota tractors because of my husbands hat. After a couple minutes, I spoke up and said i was hoping he could help me. He acted like he really didnt care about my issues. He acted like I was an inconvenience. I had gone to another doctor previously and had a bad experience where that doctor wouldn't listen to me. I explained this to Dr. MEISTER and told him that was why I chose his office as I had heard good words about good bed side manner from a different doctor in this practice. Oh how I was wrong. Meister didn't listen to me. Barely acknowledged me. His smock says Orthopedic Surgeon on it yet he told me there was nothing he could really do for me as he couldn't do surgery and I should visit a different doctor because it isn't what several other doctors and MRIs have said it is stemming from. He said that if i really wanted him to, he could give me a shot in my hip. I told him it would help a little at least for a couple weeks any way so yes please. I tried to explain how terrible the hip and leg bone pain is and how I have trouble walking some times. He told me i should go and see a back doctor. When we asked about one there, he basically told us no, the only one there comes only once a month and so we should seek help elsewhere and he walked out. Who does that?! I left so frustrated and felt like he just poo pooed my issues and pain away. I drove over an hour to see this doctor and to be made to feel that way is horrible. I am so disappointed in my experience there. For a specialist and the amount that it costs to visit, I have never been so disappointed. I would not recommend this doctor at all. My appointment with the staff, exray department, and Dr Meister was good. Waiting for my appointment was not long, everyone was very kind and professional. I have been nervous about going to and the results of my visit. Dr Meister was thorough and explained what is going on with my situation, explained why I need surgery, explaining my MRI and exrays, what would be happening before, during and after if I chose to do surgery now. He was very helpful listening and answering my questions. I'm sure there will be more information as we go forward. I felt comfortable with Dr. Meister and the clinic. Our family has been going to Dr. Meister for several years. We have always been treated very well. His staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic in all areas. 2 weeks of exercise before knee replacement was a substantial help to the quick smooth recovery of each knee! The immediate therapy following surgery was essential to the range of motion gained! Each step of the entire experience from pre-surgery to total rehab was why I experienced the ability to walk again. I have had both my knees done by Dr Meister after my wife had both hers done 13 yes ago by him. Highly recommend taking time to go to Parsons, Ks for this surgery. I experienced a very awkward fall and immediately knew I injured my knee. Dr Meister saw me the next day. I live an hour from his clinic and he took the extra step to check to see if I could have an MRI while I was there. I had my MRI the same day. He is straightforward, kind and gets to the “plan” for recovery. I am so thankful to have a physician like Dr Meister in Souteast Kansas. He replaced my husbands shoulder a few years ago and he has a great outcome. I would recommend Dr Meister for any orthopedic needs. He gets an A+ with my family.

Dr. Meister performed knee replacement surgery on my left knee March 2017. Previous to this surgery, I had a tumor removed from the calf of that same leg in 2015. After my knee replacement, the area between the the two surgeries would fill with blood. Dr. Meister saw me in his office several times & in the emergency room trying to figure out why my leg was bleeding. He did this without additional charges & I appreciated his care & concern tremendously.

The second shot in the bursar disk on my right hip has really help. Very little pain now if any.

Dr Meister is pure genius. He does outstanding work. Ihave taken my son and my mother to him as well when they have each broken abone and I will be going back to back to him for work on my knees.

Dr. Meister is an amazing ortho surgeon! He saw me for a minor shoulder issue and was extremely compassionate and helpful. But he replaced both my husband’s knees. We had recently relocated to Southeastern Kansas from Northern California. We did not expect to find this level of care out in such a rural area. His care was beyond excellent! And, the icing on the cake is that he has an amazing bedside manner and a fabulous team working for him! I would definitely recommend him for any ortho surgical issues you may have. I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. Brad Meister- Achilles’ tendon repair and most recently, rotator cuff repair, two weeks ago. I am pleased with the excellent care he and his staff have provided and would highly recommend Dr. Meister for any orthopedic needs.

Was admitted from the Emergency Room Dr Meister scheduled me in for a knee surgery toward the end of the next day "less than 24 hrs"of two very busy days. Kept me informed of the plan. Pre surgery and follow up went like clockwork. Everybody on the same page. Kudos . .

Graciously stayed long after regular hours to operate on my Granddaughters finger. The finger has full motion now. Plus looks great!

You have helped me greatly

Dr. Meister is a really good bone specialist he really goes over things thorough with you and he knows what he's doing I highly recommend him to anybody that has any problems with her bones the staff are all really friendly and nice and it is really a nice atmosphere over there too

I've just finished with my last app't for knee replacement and could not be more satisfied with the outcome! My knee is great, scar barely shows-surgery was May 5, 2021. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful, personal care I received. You're terrific! Yey!!!

An unexpected fall led to a broken femur. Dr. Meister's surgical skills fixed the bone. His ability to speak to me and listen to me is a definite bonus. This is the place to be when you're injured.

I have had a hip replacement from Dr. Miester and my left arm is broken and he has been taking really good care of that for me also. I would recommend them to anyone they are good doctors.
