Horrible phone customer service

It was nice experience quick and on time.

Dr Kaplan use to be good. I've used his services for close to 30 years. He was always polite and professional. He WAS my dentist of choice. He has since empowered his office staff to make medical decisions. I arrived to have a tooth (#25) pulled. I was stopped by his secretary who wouldn't let the Dr see me. The tooth had erupted through my gum, The top of the tooth had fallen into my mouth and the tip of the root was between my gum and lip. After being thrown out of Dr Kaplans office by his secretary I went to another dentist, the same day, the dentist deemed it an emergency. After checking my medical history he immediately performed the extraction. All I wanted was one (1) minute of the Dr's time to evaluate the tooth. I would have waited in the waiting room to see him between patients but his secretary militantly told me to leave and find another doctor. This is not so much a reflection of Dr Kaplan's medical skills but of his choice to allow his Secretary to make medical decisions.

Dr. Kaplan removed my wisdom teeth in 2019. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Kaplan was a godsend for my wife. Her face was swollen and she was in great pain. Her dentist recommended an oral surgeon but she could not get in for a month. I started to call around for an oral surgeon and called Dr. Kaplan's office. What an impressive resume. He took her in the next day ,drained the infection from her tooth , and gave her antibiotics. The swelling went down and he removed the tooth in a few days. He also calls his patients at home to check on them. One thing you have to pay for services rendered but they will send in the paperwork to any insurance you may have. Note that his receptionist Tracey is great. What a pleasure to have her answer the phone and handle the paperwork and calling your pharmacy for any prescriptions you may need. Dr. Kaplan was a godsend for my wife. Dr Kaplan is the best! I was bounced around to other oral surgeons within the last 6 month's. I'm so glad I switched to you. Your office and staff are so wonderful. Dr Kaplan explains everything in detail and makes you feel at ease. Thank you Dr Kaplan. P.s the artwork is so beautiful.

Dr. Kaplan and his staff are absolutely outstanding! I have had an apico (12 years ago) and now an implant done with him and he does a fantastic job. Before you decide your course of treatment, he explains everything thoroughly - both the risks and the benefits. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Kaplan and his team made my tooth removal an absolute pleasure. They were so nice, caring, bedside manner was out of this world! Dental work is triggering for me and this team did every single thing to make the experience as easy as possible. Dr. Kaplan put in my first implant about 15 years ago. I am a nervous patient and he and his staff put me at east. I never felt any pain, I did what he told me to do and I healed perfectly. I have never had one problem with my implant. I returned to him a few months ago because I need another implant and I am having the same experience. They made sure I understood the procedure and what would happen. They were compassionate during the procedure and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. He called me later that night check in with me (what doctor does that anymore?) Dr. Kaplan's years of training and professional expertise make an expert in the field of implant dentistry. His compassion and kindness put him over the top. The office staff are always very accommodating. It is easy to get an appointment and the office staff are kind, professional and easy to work with. I can’t tell you how nervous I was to be going to have another tooth pulled after the last experience I had at another oral surgeons! This time my dentist recommended Dr. Kaplan so I called, got an appt.right away (I had broken and split my back tooth in half, waiting over holiday for help) and have now come home from Dr. Kaplan’s office. What a huge difference! Day and night! Dr. Kaplan and staff were so incredibly patient, kind, comforting and calming. It was quick and without pain. I actually didn’t even realize the tooth was out before Dr. Kaplan told me, “All done!” Truly I could not believe it. I almost cried, just from the relief! No horrible noises, no rushed activity, no medical talk all around that I couldn’t understand or feeling like I was alone in my fear and pain, none!.... Dr. Kaplan and his staff were very professional and informative through the whole process of removing my wisdom teeth. From the consultation to the extraction itself I was very comfortable to have this done here because Dr. Kaplan was knowledgeable and presented the facts. Thank you for the positive experience!

Dr. Kaplan and staff are the best. If you need oral surgery go here. Everything is explained, they make you feel relaxed, call to see how you are doing. Plus they scheduled me immediately because I had pain. So thankful to Dr. Kaplan and his staff for taking care of me.

Incredibly unprofessional. DO NOT schedule or book here. They cancelled hours before my emergency appointment. I was in an incredible amount of pain but the doctor got the day off the morning of and had no consideration for me as a patient. When I went to schedule elsewhere I found out they quoted me 35% more than another practice I was referred to in the same day. The second doctor's office even offered to reschedule me within 24 hours instead of pushing it off until the next week. Incredibly unprofessional. DO NOT schedule or book here. He was great. I had to have a few teeth removed (the whole upper arch) and I thought it'd be there for a while, but was rather quick. And a lot easier than I initially thought it'd be.

WOW !!!! A tooth extraction with NO pain. I worried about having a tooth pulled for two months. Needless to say, I have a fear of dentist. This is a result of a terrible experience that I had as a young adult. I have friends and family that have been to Dr Kaplan many times. They told me he was the best dentist to take care of my problem. My appointment was Tuesday 5/7/2019. I can't say enough about the office staff and especially Dr. Kaplan. Everyone working at this office are friendly, caring professionals who made me feel comfortable during the whole visit. Dr. Kaplan explained everything he was going to do and assured me there would be no pain. Guess what? He was 100% right. I experienced NO PAIN. Thanks so much for making this experience a good one. Dr. Kaplan and his entire staff provide high quality care! They are very warm and comforting and provide clear understanding of procedures involved... Wonderful setting and great office! Dr. Kaplan is the best Oral Surgeon I have ever been to in such a time of need for my surgical procedure for my teeth. Thank You!

Great oral surgeon who knows how to put a patient at ease !

Dr Kaplan is the best there is. Had a apico go wrong TWICE. He made things much better.

The doctor is very competent - great firm hands, explains exactly what he is doing, works quickly, and as painless as an oral surgery can be. The office is efficient, comfortable and friendly. Dr. Kaplan called my home the evening after surgery personally to check on me; now that's a special touch.
