Dr. Boyd Wayne Simkins

I had an accident when I was eight years old where I knocked out my front teeth. My parents have been bringing me here for as long as I can remember, and now even into my adult years I give high praise and respect for the dedication of Simkins and the staff. For as long as we have gone, they have taken exceptional care of us for over 15 years. When I knocked out my front teeth it was very late, and even later (around 1-2 AM) when we called an emergency appointment with the dentist. How many dentists do you know are so dedicated to their work and care so much about their customers that they would open the office at 2 in the morning? Absolutely loved them for as long as I could go, even up to today. Would highly, highly recommend.

My kids have received dental care at Castle Creek for years. Each staff member is kind, cheerful, and does excellent, efficient work. Dr. Simkins’ optimistic attitude is contagious. He makes going to the dentist comfortable and fun!! Sadly, my insurance won’t pay for work done by a pediatric dentist, just cleanings, so I take my kids elsewhere for fillings. My daughter who has special needs has seen Dr.Simpkins and his staff since she was 4 years old and she’s now 18. She has always been treated with the utmost respect and care no matter the treatment. She has the mentality of a 4-5 year old so we will continue going to him as long as she is allowed. There’s no one we would rather continue to care for Elyssa because of the amazing care and the way they treat her. She is actually excited to go to see the dentist and that’s rare, indeed! First visit was yesterday with this office. They were friendly and fun to my kids. Made the dentist a little less scary. We’ll see if that’s still the case when all my 4 yr olds cavities have to get filled. ????

Boyd Simpkins is a wonderful dentist for children! He makes going to the dentist a fun experience. I would recommend him as a great dentist for children. *****

Another great experience at Castle Creek yesterday. All the staff are great with my kids, and go above and beyond to make sure we have a good experience.

Dr Simkins dental team demonstrate compassion and understanding towards the youth they treat. The kids have seen them since they were toddlers and now they are middle schoolers. He helps them feel at ease and has a non judgemental approach.

We love Dr Simkins, he has been our dentist for nearly 10 years. He and his staff are great with kids. Definitely recommend!

I love Castle Creek! Their staff is very friendly and always on time. Dr Simpkins and the assistance are so good with the kids. My son enjoys going to the dentist, that is rare. We are always seen on time, with very little waiting. Yesterday for a check up we were in and out within 20 minutes! I have nothing but positive things to say about Castle Creek!! Dr Simkins is the best. He is great with our kids and his staff is wonderful too.

Doctor Simkins is the only dentist I would recommend to parents who have Special Needs children. He is excellent in dealing with their unique needs and issues in a very patient and extremely kind yet firm. He is willing to talk with you as a parent & work through the best ways to help your child. He patiently explains what he is doing & is kind & concerned. I trust him beyond any other dentist with our unique & challenging children.

My son chipped his front tooth 4 years ago and needed special treatment. We decided to do sedation which went very well. He has needed to be sedated a couple of other times for cavities because he is very fearful of things like this but today when he had a couple of cavities he did great and did not need to be sedated. He has grown up a bit but I think he has also become comfortable with Dr. Simkins and his staff. The office is a very fun but calm atmosphere.

Dr. Simkinsmade my two boys comfortable and when I thought there was no way my 2 year old would open his mouth, he knew what to say to make him laugh and show him his teeth. Very good dentist!

He was so amazing with my 2 kids. He got them laughing and talking and distracted from the potential discomfort of visiting the dentist. He gave me an honest opinion and I felt like I could trust him. He was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone!

Boyd and his staff are an incredible team. We travel from Riverdale to see them and will continue to do so until we no longer need a pediatric dentist! The practice came highly recommended from a friend and I recommend them to everyone I know. The girls are so sweet and patient with the kids and explain absolutely every detail to them so there is no need to be afraid. Boyd is great with the kids as well and really is their "buddy". Dentists get a bad rap and kids can be afraid of them but one visit here and your kids will love the dentist!!! Boyd and his staff are an incredible team.
