I can easily say my initial appointment with Dr. Leschek was easily the best in a decade. His bedside manner was great, he seemed very knowledgeable and did simple tests none of others did and talked with my wife and I like we were discussing my case over a cup of coffee. Very clear directions to schedule an appt. Really excellent front desk staff and my appt. was on time. Dr. Dwyer had reviewed my info and asked relevant questions. His exam was thorough and he gave his evaluation and outlined the next steps. In addition, he did not rush and has a sense of humor. Excellent experience.

Dr. Dwyer is astute and thorough, explaining his analysis in detail. We gained more information about my husband’s condition in one visit than we had in multiple visits to other providers over years. I am completely confident in his care and recommend him without reservation. ( Also, he is very personable!)

Dr. Dwyer is an amazing doctor who actually listens to me and my concerns and gives me thoughtful feedback.

I started my journey with MS with Dr. Dwyer. I saw him for years until I moved and it was too far to travel. He was wonderful and I have considered returning to his practice. He is kind and caring plus up to date on new meds. and information. I thank him for all the good care he gave to me.

Did Dr. Dwyer write these reviews himself? What I’m reading is far from the experiences I’ve had with him while he’s been treating my mother for Parkinson’s. During my mother’s 20 minute visit, he spends the first 15 minutes talking with my moms husband about their experiences in the war. The next five minutes, he will talk briefly with my mom about her condition. He does none of the typical Parkinson’s evaluations such as having her walk, having her move her fingers and feet in a certain way etc. What REALLY gets me is when my moms family dr prescribed antidepressants for her and Dr. Dwyer told her she didn’t need them!!! Does this educated man not know that anxiety and depression go hand in hand with Parkinson’s??? I would not recommend Dr. Dwyer to anyone with Parkinson's in fact I’d tell them to run in the opposite direction fast! A very dissatisfied daughter

My own personal visit today was somewhat normal, but the experience I had in the reception area was far from it. I witnessed the front desk woman get into a verbal altercation with a patient in which she acted in the most UNPROFESSIONAL manner I have ever seen. She was rude, dismissive, contradicted herself and told the patient something along the lines of "mind your business". It's a sad state of current customer service when receptionists feel that they can mistreat patients and that people will just keep coming back. I for one will not be based on my previous visits and what I witnessed today. The doctor needs to address his staff that have multiple other negative reviews here and educate them that they can't treat patients like dirt. Or fire them. I have found this doctor and his office personnel to be thorough and empathetic. I like a doctor who is not intimidated by questions or concerns and one who doesn't mind explaining so you can get a clear understanding and are able to make decisions without being scared.

Dr Dwyer is very thorough and personable. He takes the time to explain things and to ensure that the patient and family understand. His staff has always been kind and helpful. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Dwyer is very caring, thorough, and professional, he leaves no stone unturned and after caring for my Mother, he also saw both my hubby and I for sleep studies. I would recommend him in a New York minute.

Today 3/7/19 I witnessed rude, mocking, language by Boyd Dwyer to my wife. "Wasting my time" - repeated by this self-serving, arrogant man. No matter what condition a person has, they should NEVER act with such demeaning, hurtful looks, attitude and words that this person displayed. I feel sorry for Boyd Dwyer. Do NOT ever schedule an appointment with this practice. The office staff is rude and unreasonable, we have never had such shabby treatment, bordering on unethical, from a medical provider, and we have seen many. When I made the appointment, the receptionist was snippy. We had to wait over 3 months for an appointment. There was no telephone or automated reminder of the appointment, which is unusual for practices these days. Our appointment was for 1:40, and we parked in front at exactly 1:40. It may have taken 3 minutes to get in the door. They were nasty because my husband did not have the paperwork done from the web; I don't believe we were told to get paperwork on web, because I would have made note of it. But they were really nasty about it. After they took his insurance cards and referral, we sat and waited about 10 minutes, and then the receptionist called out we would have to reschedule, because we were late. When I went up the window, we given a new appointment three months away. They were so nasty, I got madder than I can ever recall getting in a public situation, and we walked out. I have never had a problem with anyone here up until now. Dr. Dwyer has been wonderful in helping me with my headaches and the office staff have always been wonderful to speak and interact with, that is until this morning. I received a phone call last week and I accidentally erased the message they left so I was unsure as to whom I should ask to speak with when I called back. When I called I pressed option 2 "for all other inquiries" and the woman, Michelle Rigens (unsure of spelling) was extremely rude and borderline condescending. I do not appreciate the way I was spoken too and I believe she needs to rethink her career choice if this is how she talks to every patient. If you work in the public sector then you need to seriously watch how you talk to and work with others. This not only sheds a bad light on her but also sheds one on the practice. I have never had a problem with anyone here up until now. Love Dr. Dwyer. He is professional, caring, and helps me feel comfortable discussing my concerns with him. I? see him on a regular basis and knowing he is always there for me is reassuring.

Staff is great, Dr. Dwyer not so much.....the Botox injections from Dr. Dwyer were inconsistent every month and his bedside manner and inappropriate jokes are a big no. Always have someone with you to be a witness to his behaviors and inappropriate comments.

Very knowledgeable, excellent rapour with patient and family members. Is relaxed and does not make patient feel that DR Dwyer is in a hurry to see next patient. Dr Dwyer is "down to earth" and adds a bit of humor to relax patient and family member(s). I would recommend him to anyone needing neurological assistance. Only negative is due to HIPPA.A family member cannot discuss condition of patient without patient being present.

The staff are very thorough and detailed, maybe b/c of the volume and differences in the clients that are seen there, but they are very helpful and accommodating for appt. reschedule when issues arise. Dr. Dwyer is quite astute, knowledgeable, and exceptional in patient's problem analysis, directions for curing or improving patient issues. He gets an A++ rating and I strongly endorse his work for anyone with neurological issues.
