Very satisfactory

Edit: The office manager gave me a call to apologize and discuss what happened; she was very nice about it. Apparently a lot of patients get antsy at that phase of recovery, but the nurse I talked to is very apologetic and has agreed to be more open to actual problems like mine. - - - The tonsillectomy itself went great and I'm happy with it, but big yikes on the hostility toward aftercare. I got a throat infection while recovering and called up to see if I should go to them or my regular doctor. I didn't even get to finish listing my symptoms before they explained that I couldn't possibly have an infection, the nurse who diagnosed me didn't understand what she was seeing, the pus pockets in my throat were actually just scabs (despite being on my uvula, where I wasn't cut) and I could go to my GP but he was just going to painfully swab me (emphasis on how painful it would be). I went to my GP. Guess what? I have an infection, and now I have some cefdinir. It's already made a world of difference. I just hope my actual recovery is going normally, because now I don't trust these people to tell me. 1st ENT said nothing was wrong with me after having a sore throat for 4 months.Dr. Anderson found what was wrong with one look!! Problem solved. Very friendly and kind.

Had a good visit

Dr. Anderson is a wonderful physician! He is prompt, caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. I had sinus surgery and literally could breath better after waking up in recovery with my “nose pillows,” than I had in years. Pain management was handled efficiently and professionally.

Dr. Anderson was prompt, listened to me, performed the proper examination, diagnosed the problem and explained the procedure necessary to take care of it. The procedure was performed in the hospital on an out-patient basis. I am fully recovered and the procedure was a complete success. So very happy!

He cut my baby’s tongue and lip tie to help her eat better. He answered all my questions and didn’t put any pressure on me. The lactation consultant said it was the best job she ever seen an ENT do.

I went to him as a second opinion. His camera exam was thorough. Confirmed what other doctor told me. He also agreed with another doctor about another issue. He was very nice, took time to explain everything.

Dr. Anderson is an extraordinarily rare physician. He has both an M.D. and a Ph.D., and he LISTENS. He hears his patient. And he is kind and gentle.

My husband has been dizzy for over 2 weeks. We finally got in to see him and he recommended physical therapy to teach him epley maneuvers, REALLY?? He is the specialist, shouldn’t you teach your patient these maneuvers? He also wants him to do another test to confirm he has positional vertigo....pretty sure the fact that when he changes positions if makes him dizzy already confirms this!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Anderson loves to see his patients suffer. Saw him in August for severe vertigo and imbalance. After reviewing nothing but an audio-gram, he told me my issue was not inner ear related and no further testing was needed. Fast forward 8 months, and I am still living with daily, chronic dizziness. I had to basically beg for a VNG! The VNG comes back and they tell me it's normal. It wasn't until I saw a physical therapist at a balance center that she prints it for me and shows me I have 42% damage to my right ear!!! This whole time I have been living with an inner ear disorder and could have started therapy ASAP but instead, I suffered for 8 months. I am just now starting therapy. Do not see this doctor. I saw him after 3 months of dizziness and he told me it wasn't inner ear. I had to beg him after 8 months to finally order a VNG which showed 42% damage to my right ear. He then calls and tells me my VNG is normal!!! Thank God I got a copy of it and confirmed the abnormal result myself via a different doctor. He loves to see patients suffer.
