I’m fighting a little known disease called Pemphigoid. Dr. O’Brien is one of the few that has experience in treating it. His knowledge put me at ease. Practical steps in treatment and cooperation with my rheumatologist, dermatologist and oral pathologist make a strong team and boost my confidence. Thankful for being his patient.

I had a peroration in my eardrum that wasn’t healing on it’s own so I was referred to Dr. O’Brien for a tympanoplasty. It was my first surgery so I was a little nervous but he took the time to answer all my questions and walked me through the entire process. The surgery was successful and my eardrum is back to normal. He was great!

Dr O'Brian performed a septoplasty and turbinate reduction on me and I was very pleased with the outcome.I can now breathe easier and have less drainage than before.I found Dr O'Brian and all the staff at the Bethel Road surgical center to be kind, caring and very professional.I had almost no pain after the surgery and I would absolutely recommend Dr O'Brian as a first class ENT doctor

I liked Dr. O'Brien because he listened carefully and was sensitive to my concerns and was to the point with his answers. He reviewed my testing with me and explained his recommendation clearly as well as an option for further testing. I chose further testing and his staff made all of the arrangements. Dr. O' Brien's medical assistant called me with the result of the test and was equally clear explaining the results. I called her later with further questions and she was very receptive and I felt very comfortable expressing my concerns. I would recommend Dr. O'Brien and his staff without hesitation.

I can’t say enough about Dr O’Brien. He performed a difficult surgery on my ear that gave me back my hearing that I had lost. He is professional and courteous and I feel lucky to have had him for my surgeon.

Very knowledgeable about what was going on with my ear. Explained everything to me and what would he thought would be my best option to help the situation. Before meeting Dr. O’Brien staff was very good with check in and very cordial. My wait time was very short before I met Dr. O’Brein. I feel confident that the recommendation for treatment will clear up my issue

Dr. O’Brien did a fantastic job with my stapedectomy; it has improved my quality of life considerably. He’s always been very kind, explains everything well, and knows what he’s doing. His support staff was also very helpful, friendly, and prompt: I never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room or in an exam room. The prices were also reasonable for how professional they are. I can’t imagine going to anyone else.

This visit was quit simple. I am a senior wearing hearing aids. My ears collect wax, so every six months I make a visit to have the wax removed. To me it is important that I do the best to protect my hearing, I would not consider any over the counter method to remove the wax myself. My hearing loss was diagnosed by Dr. O'Brien about seven years ago and I have been in his care ever since. Along the way he has advised and expressed concern on another health issue I have. When things get back to more normal I plan to address it. As my friends and I are aging and our hearing isn't what it was, I would certainly recommend they see Dr. O'Brien.

Dr. O’Brien, MD was amazing and was very helpful! I walked out the office knowing exactly what was wrong with me and a prescription!

Dr. Blaize O'Brien He is the best! I had my thyroid removal on the right side. He gave constructive listening and bed side matter is the best as well. Dr O'Brien really care about his clients. Why? I am a woman of color who referral my sister who is a quadriplegic. He treated her with the same positive understanding and patience and caring with her as well. God Bless Blaize O'Brien????

Dr. O'Brien has treated two of my children for many years. He makes them comfortable and does a really good job explaining the issues. We trust our children's care with him.

Two of my three kids have gotten tubes from Dr. O'Brien and we have had a great experience from consult, surgery and follow-up. Even 2 years post surgery, the office and Dr. O'Brien are quick to respond to ear issues for my kids. The office staff is SO helpful with all my kids during appointments. I'm sure our 3rd will need tubes and we will go to Dr. O'Brien. Highly recommend!

Have a hard to solve issue and he was really the first that was interested and willing to get to the bottom of the problem!

Dr. O’Brien did a Cochlear implant for me. He was great and his staff was tremendous. The people at Riverside were good also. Dr. O’Brien and staff explained everything to me. Also, Paula my audiologist is great. These people really care about you.

This was the first time I met with Dr. O'Brien, and I could not have been more pleased. The check-in was fast, and the wait time within reason. His nurse Jill was caring, efficient, and very friendly. Dr.O'Brien clearly explained what procedures he was going to do and what I could expect to experience. The scope of my nostrils was the first I have ever had, and all went well. He listened to what I was saying, and I never felt rushed during our appointment. I would recommend him highly.

Dr. O’Brien was knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns and apprehensions about the surgical procedure I needed and this served to enable me to undergo surgery confidently. His surgical skills and care produced results that brought about restoration and healing. The Ohio Surgery Center was clean, efficient yet personable, and I highly recommend Dr. O’Brien’s care in combination with the Ohio Surgery Center.

Dr. O’Brien did a scope on my throat and was very professional and explaining every detail as he did the procedure. I was so grateful as I was scare and didn’t know what to expect. Overall it was a good experience and I would highly recommended Dr O’Brien.

I have had ear problems almost my entire life. Dr O'Brien performed surgery to reconstruct my eardrum. Now I hear better than I have in years and no more infections!! He is very gentle, whereas I've had previous doctors who didn't seem to care if I was hurting. So, thank you Dr. O'brien! Thank you!!

On my first visit found Dr. O'Brien to be interesting. After 20+ years with Dr. Howard Lowry, I was very apprehensive to have to be looking for someone new. Dr. O'Brien was attentive, listened to my problem, made suggestions for me to follow, cleaned the wax from my ears, and I felt he did care how I was doing. As I said this was my first visit and feel many more will follow. Thank you Dr. O'brien and Nurse Jill for putting me completely at ease.

The wait time is ridiculous. I waited over an hour and a half to be seen. This is absolutely unacceptable, the complete disregard for a patients time and schedule. When I politely inquired about the wait after 60 minutes I was told rather snotty that I was next. It was still another 30 minutes before I was even called back to an exam room. Dr. O'Brien is very knowledgeable and great but the wait time must be dealt with. The staff definitely needs customer service training.

We generally see another ENT, but we were referred to Dr. O'Brien for my middle daughter who needed to have her ear drum reconstructed. Dr. O'Brien was great with her. Post surgery check up, she had some strange ideas about her exam and she was terrified and sobbing. He decided it would be better to wait to examine her. I was incredibly grateful for his understanding. Later she sat perfectly still and did a great job for him, I just needed to clear up her misconceptions first.

Dr. O'Brien is very caring and understanding. He made me feel comfortable at a time when I was in the worst pain in my life. Highly recommend!

Personable and truly engages in my care and treatment which is refreshing and appreciated.

I had a 10:30 appt. I was not seen until 12:05 We probably could use a little help with that.

Best doctor I have ever had. Very understanding, I suffer from chronic ear infections and have had some real issues with severe ear infections in the past year, the pain is excruciating, but under his care they are cleared up quickly, and pain is managed excellently until the infection is gone. Without a doubt, he is the most competent and courteous medical professional I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

I had an ENT botch a procedure with my ears when I was young that resulted in horrible inner ear infections frequently which damaged my hearing. When I met Dr. O'Brien, he examined me and said he would try to restore the hearing I had lost but he could definitely repair the damage. Three years post-surgery and I'm doing great. I can also attest to Dr. O'Brien and his team having excellent bedside manners and listening to patients needs.

I have been a regular patient of Dr. O'Brien's now for almost 3 years. He is very pleasant and professional, in addition to being an excellent doctor. When I have an acute situation, he will work me in to his very busy schedule. Dr. O'Brien and his nurse, Jill, get 5+ stars from me!!! On the down side, the practice has changed phone systems. Now they tell you how many callers are ahead of you. I was 8th in the queue yesterday and waited 20 min. When I was #19 today, I just hung up! Not good!

My son has been seeing Dr O'Brien since he was 18 months old to now 4 years old. Dr O'Brien has been great with him and keeping me very informed as well. He is also a excellent surgeon and has great bedside manner. My son recently had his tonsils out and experienced no bleeding what so ever. My son loves going to the office and seeing Dr O'Brien. I highly recommend him.
