Dr. Blaine P Andersen

Several years ago I had a breast reduction done by Dr. Andersen. I couldn’t be happier! His employees are so kind and helpful and the Tremonton hospital treated me very well. I would recommend Dr. Andersen to everyone!

I feel it my obligation to share my experience with this surgeon so what happened to me will not happen to you. This doctor was very hard to understand and communicate with and I feel he did not listen to me or my desires, but did what he wanted. I got something different than what I was told I would get, and the information was misleading. My surgeries were done very sloppily, and I am left devastated, and am having to get very costly reconstructive surgery on my eyes and my breasts. Dr. Anderson was not willing to take any responsibility for the outcome. I had breast implants and my breasts are two different completely different sizes and shapes. I had another surgeon measure me and said my right cup size is a full size bigger than my left, and they point in different directions and my right droops lower than my left. My eyelid surgery was not supposed to change my appearance, but too much skin was taken off my eyelids so my upper lids collapsed and pulled my eyebrows down with them. The skin over my eyelids droops even worse over my eyes than it did before the surgery, which is the whole reason I had the surgery. I now have huge bulges or bubbles over my eyes that I did not have before the surgery. The right bulge is bigger than the left because there was more skin taken off the right, so the upper lid dropped more. I look completely different and am left with looking like I have "sad puppy dog eyes" and my eyes look horrible, and this has destroyed my life. The surgery was only supposed to lift the skin off my hooded eyelids, but instead it completely changed my overall looks and appearance. My lower eyelids bulge out, and you can see the white of my eyes where you couldn't before, and I have hard lumps under my eyes. This also contributes to the "sad puppy dog" look. I can no longer look anyone in the eye and have lost all my confidence, which the surgeries were supposed to help boost it. I do not want this to happen to any one else. Please, for your own sake, seek another surgeon if you are contemplating cosmetic surgeries. I have to have reconstructive surgeries on my breasts and eyes which is going to cost three times as much as my original surgery and Dr. Anderson would not reimburse me to help cover the costs. This has ruined my life, and left me in complete despair. I can not even look myself in the mirror without crying or wanting to hide away somewhere. I also was not warned with anything that could go wrong, and was not adequatly prepared for the amount of healing that would take place and the time it would take to heal. I was told I may have swelling and bruising for up to two weeks, but that after two weeks I would start looking back to normal. It took four months before all the swelling and bruising was gone, and I looked horrible and after 9 months of the surgery I am looking worse as time goes on rather than better. as the drooping above my eyes is getting worse with time. I was told by a reconstructive eyelid surgeon this is what happens when the surgery is not performed right or with the proper care. Please, heed my warning and do not let this same thing happen to you. It has been a horrific journey for me, and I will regret having the surgeries til the day I die, unless my reconstructive surgeries can somehow help, which I hope to God they can. Blessings to you as you search for the best solutions for yourselves and try to make the right decisions. It is my advise to only have surgery done by someone who is highly experienced in the area of surgery you are contemplating. Do your research and seek out many opinions and consult with more than one surgeon. You will be very glad you did in the end.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGEON! He is hard to understand as he talks above your head and communication is poor in that things are not explained adequately. I thought I was getting one thing and got something else. The surgeries were done extremely sloppily and I was left with two different sized breasts, and needing to face a second surgery to have corrections made. I also had an eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) and too much skin was taken off my eyelids so the foundation for the upper eyelids was gone, so they caved in and pulled my eyebrows down, so I have large bubbles above my eyes, and the skin droops over my eyes worse now than it did before the surgery, and I now have a "sad puppy dog eye" look. Also, more skin was taken off my right eye, so the bubble above that side is larger than on the left side. This has completely changed my appearance, when a basic blepharoplasty is not supposed to. I look horrible and am devastated and now have to get very costly reconstructive surgery.

It was such a positive experience I would recommend Dr Anderson to everyone. From the beginning to the end I was informed about every step. He also has a wonderful staff that treat you with kindness and respect.

Great Dr. He really takes personal time with each patient and does his best to get the results you are looking for. Most things that another Dr. Will delegate to a nurse or a medica assistant Dr. Andersen takes care of himself.

Amazing experience! I'm so happy with my results! Dr Anderson was so accommodating to me coming out of town!
