Arrogant, rude, and inexperienced. Don’t waste your time

Dr. Parekh is such a caring compassionate woman, she takes her time and truly cares about her patients. I wish she was a primary care physician

I am glad to see it wasn't just in my head and others had the same experience. She dismissed my concern and didn't even examine me. She just said, "you seem fine". Thankfully, I followed up with my regular doctor who confirmed my concern and we are on our way to treating it. Dr. Parekh seemed like I was bothering her for coming in that day. She scolded me for using a certain word to describe my symptoms saying "that is a serious word - if it was true you'd be in an emergency room". Really made me feel like an idiot. Spent less than 3 minutes in the room with me (and there were no other patients waiting around). How can Community Urgent Care have someone like that on staff? She's a liability.

I gave a 1-star rating only because I couldn't give zero stars. TERRIBLE experience. Misdiagnosis! She likes saying "it only a virus". Saw her with extreme difficulty in breathing (bronchitis) which I get at least once a year, so I know what it is, and I walked out with a chest x-ray I didn't want and cough syrup. She said the symptom would last 7-10 days. With the difficulty I was having breathing, I figured I would be dead in 7-10 days. Went to another doctor who prescribed antibiotic.

I think she is to quick to just mis diagnose someone. She seems like everyone is a bother to her day. She is very quick to check you out and get you out as fast as possible. I do not care for her at all.

I did not like her bedside manner. She was arrogant. She didn't take time to answer my questions. I had pnomonia. She told me I didn't look sick and that my breathing was fine. Neither was true. Only good thing was she gave me the medication I needed. If that is all your looking for in a doctor then she will be the doctor for you. I think she may have been in the room 3 minutes lol. Didn't waste much of my time. Maybe she was sick the day they explained bed side manner and compassion

The Dr. refused antibiotics for my son told me it was viral . He had the start of ear infection and fever if 100 . She told me that's not a fever and was very rude. She suggested I see another dr at urgent care that dr refused to see my son . Since I had already seen her when we returned home my sons fever went up to 102 . I called his Dr who saw us today . He has an ear infection and was given amoxicillin. Very disappointed by the treatment we received .

I found Dr. Parekh to be rude and harsh. I took my mother to see her at the community immediate care center in St. John and Dr. Parekh saw her and was annoyed that my mother's illness was not considered an emergency. She harshly stated that the immediate center was for emergencies and that people were abusing the facility. She proceeded to question what my mother was saying hurt and just brushed her off and told her to follow up with a primary care physician. We left feeling terrible.
