Awful ?? He’s human and maybe it was an off day. However after having issues with being incoherent at home and having paramedics recommend going to the ER . I got there and had trouble articulating what I was experiencing. He walked off mid conversation and wrote that I seemed offended by his recommendation. It was difficult to process everything at that time and his presentation was off setting. I still have the undiagnosed symptoms but will drive a little further up the road for emergency care the next time.

This emergency room was AMAZING!! Dr. Bill Chiles and the emergency room staff were wonderful. On October 15th 2021, I had a kidney stone and had to go to the emergency room. Within minutes, they had me registered and were able to give me medication for the pain. I was then taken in for a cat scan to confirm that I did have a Kidney Stone. Even though they were very busy, Dr. Chiles and his team kept checking in on me to make sure I was doing ok. They were so kind and professional that I almost forgot I had a kidney stone. If I could give them 10 STARS .... I would!!! Thank you so much Dr. Chiles and to your team for taking such good care of me!

Dr Chiles was a fine doctor to me when I had a kidney stone and came to the ER. He made me feel much better almost immediately.

Dr Chiles was a true blessing on the day that my father was dying. He was having difficulty breathing and we brought him to Oconee Memorial Hospital. Dr Chiles took excellent care of my father, quickly ordering respiratory interventions to assist his breathing and also medicine to ease his chronic pain. He stayed at the bedside and explained everything. You could tell that he genuinely cared! We are so fortunate to have him working in the ER at Oconee.

Dr. Chiles was very professional and comforting when I fell & sprained my foot. His exam was very thorough, and I really felt like he cared. He made a bad day a lot easier to get through!
