I saw Dr. Raju himself and found him to be extremely unprofessional, condescending and lacking in general knowledge. His grasp of psychiatry was so poor I actually had to stop the appointment several times to ask him if he was even reading the correct file. Apparently patients who advocate for themselves are far too challenging for this doctor because after a single appointment AND without written notice he discharged me as a patient. DO NOT trust your mental health to this man!

My first appointment was with Dr. Jeffrey Gruhler in Aug 2022. He was kind, compassionate, caring and understanding. I have since deleted that review on Google because as of Feb 1, 2023, unbeknownst to me, I met with Ms. Milford-Giordani and was told the DAY of my appointment that Dr. Gruhler was no longer with OPA. How unprofessional! In addition to this, TREATING me like a NUMBER, instead of a patient, she immediately states, without ANY factual reasons pertaining to my Six Psychiatric Diagnosises, that she will be lowering my doses of my ADHD Meds and Anxiety Meds because of "policy." Let's be clear, lies about "POLICIES" should NEVER dictate the treatment of an individual, LIKE MYSELF, who has been on my meds for almost two decades and who is a 21 year "survivor" of HIV, multiple health issues and severe trauma!!! Now I have an appointment with Dr. Raju on Mar 2, 2023 and I'm dreading it!!!

I called the office as a new patient. I was told that I will be scheduled within the next two weeks. As soon as I disclosed I had autism, I was informed that it will be a 4-5 month time frame as it is a “specialist” who’d be in charge. Mind you this is a psychiatrist MD office. I requested the name of the physician and they could not answer and put me on hold. I was then transferred to the office manager who argued and said to get a second opinion for my ASD diagnosis. Are you serious? Who are you to even make that conclusion? Not only is this discrimination but the there is healthcare knowledge from the employees. My background is in healthcare and merely seeking ADHD medication management. My experience is something no patient should experience. I called the office as a new patient. Dr. Raju is amazing!!!! He's caring, thoughtful and a great listener. He's handsome and knows how to make you smile!!!! I would recommend him to anyone!!!!!! Anyone that gives him a rating below 5 should be hospitalized because they are in need of stabilization before being able to continue in a community setting!!!!! LOVE DR RAJU!!!!!!! His P.A. Lisa Shallenberger has been counseling me on-line and I can tell she is just reading from a list of things she is suppose to ask me. I could do that. I told her I needed a stronger dose of adderall and she simply said okay. I guess I could have ordered a much higher does if I wanted to. She has screwed up my prescriptions 3 times and since I take adderall, that is not good. Someone needs more training.

Great Doctor. He listens and gives great medical advice. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

It's been a week since I almost died, from serotonin syndrome/toxicity (please look it up, it's a thing, and fortunately, I can live to educate others of what I learned from just experience) , and it's been a week since I informed OPA of it, via voicemail (no one answered the phone) and also via email. Requested a stat appt to discuss changing my medication prior to the weekend since I had this reaction, (and it's never good to just go off medication) I'll have you know...I did receive an email back at 5:40 pm that the provider ( Esther Ofokansi ) was informed and would call me no later than the next day. I have yet to hear from her. I had nothing but good things to say about her prior to this event, but the fact that she never reached out to try and get the medication safely under control is extremely concerning to me. I have no faith in this practice, or providers due to that. If you just need medication then you should be fine, but if trust and faith in your provider and practice is

Worst ofice ever manager was rude to an old lady cus she didnt understan video calls , they were working true video call cus of the virus which make sense, my issue is that I made an apoiment at 10.30 whit the Dr. Bhaskar but the funny thing is he dosent work till 2pm. This people are not interesting in helping people. Front office is rude, not compassionate and brush you off like its nothing. If doctors would care about the people they would demand better service from their front desk cuz they are the face of that medical practice. Wasted my time. Deserved zero not one star.

I've had severe depression since I was 14, have made several suicide attempts and been hospitalized more times than I can count. At my most recent hospitalization I was scheduled for ECT (electroconvulsive therapy), but realized I was not a candidate because of severe jaw problems. I was despairing of ever finding help when I was told about TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation). When I saw Dr. Raju he was very caring, gentle, obviously very intelligent, and easily approachable. He listened carefully to my history, made one change to my medication and scheduled me for TMS immediately at his own office on Sand Lake Road. I had my first treatment that same day. Your head is stabilized as you sit in a chair similar to a dentist's chair, and magnetic pulses are aimed at your brain to determine the exact location for the treatment pulses. Gus, who administers the treatments is passionate about his work and very careful about locating the exact location. He records the settings so they can be repeated every time there is another treatment. I had 36 treatments, starting at about 30 minutes and eventually reaching about an hour. It is not painful. I felt just a little twinge and sometimes I felt my sinuses were agitated. The end result for me has been waaaayyy above my expectations. I feel better than I have ever felt in my life. I have not even had a twinge of depression since I completed my treatments. Not only are Dr. Raju and Gus outstanding, their office staff are incredibly nice and very efficient. I heartily recommend Orlando Psychiatric Associates to anyone with mental health issues.
