As I arrived to write a review - I'm surprised at the negative reviews that I'm reading. My experience with Dr. Vasquez and her staff were great from start to finish. I had for years had sleep (breathing) and issues equalizing when I went diving and finally decided to see an ENT. Dr. Vasquez quickly discovered and explained that I had a deviated septum and therefore would be a strong candidate for Septoplasty or could try other medicated solutions such as Flonase, etc. to increase airflow - but I preferred to fix the issue over a temporary and/or lifetime of medicating. Naturally, I was apprehensive about surgery to solve the issue but was provided with some helpful educational material and confirmed her findings via a second opinion. The other anxiety I had regarding billing - which is probably painful for anyone these days. Lori, the Office Manager/billing specialist was amazing and responded quickly to my questions and provided information that I needed to determine how much my insurance company would be willing to cover so I could understand my out-of-pocket costs. The day of the surgery arrived (2/9) and went without issue, and I am extremely satisfied with the results nearly a month later and quality of life improvements I've seen. The service, results all deserve more than this review can give. Thank you!

Dr Vasquez is pretty good; but the teenager receptionist should not be at that job! She talks so low and fast on the phone you can't tell what she's saying, she is rude, doesn't want to give you the time of the day, and looks like in a bad mood. Pity!

In a word Dr. Vasquez is amazing! My son had strep two weeks ago. He was resistant to the antibiotic. Brought him to his pediatrician today who immediately identified it as an abscess. We were sent to the ER where they did a CT scan. They told us that it could be drained and set us up with Dr. Vazquez. Never having been there we had no expectations but were grateful that he would not have to stay in the hospital overnight, as originally thought. The draining procedure was long and complicated and throughout at all Dr. Vasquez kept my son comfortable, even laughing and gave him the tools he needed to be the champ that he is! On my way out I read her credentials. Princeton and Georgetown. Very impressive accolades for a Doctor but it was her bedside manner that we will always be grateful for! Dr. Vasquez is absolutely phenomenal! Around Xmas, I felt a lump in my neck and after an ultrasound, was referred to her to have it removed. I was able to see her right away and had surgery last week. Although surgery would mean a 3” scar across my throat, she assured me it would not be noticeable. Best news is the lump is benign and she wasn’t kidding about the scar. You can barely tell and I am so pleased with her professionalism, skill, and plain awesomeness! STOP and read!! This is one place you want to avoid at all costs. SCAM SCAM SCAM! They have hidden charges and they won't tell you until you stop doing business with them. I have called several time to ask for help and they refused and won't talk to me. They sent me to collection without even addressing the issue. Avoid this place at all cost!!! Best of the best. Truly outstanding. She took a full hour with me, and delivered a superb diagnosis. No better!!! The endoscopic photo of my “S-shaped” septal deviation finally convinced an intransigent VA to recognize my condition.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM-BEWARE-Avoid this office at all cost. I was billed for service I didn't ask for and I was charged $200 out of pocket expense + insurance . If this happens to you report them to the insurance company and write a review to warn others. Do not use this ENT OFFICE.

Dr. Vasquez is a fantastic Doctor. She is so pleasant and comforting and made me feel safe in a very scary situation with my vertigo. I will recommend her to anyone that needs an ENT Doctor. Thank you Dr. Vasquez!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vasquez for treatment for repeated infections and ENT issues. She takes the time to listen, is caring and compassionate, and goes out of her way to provide the best medical care. I've been at patient of hers for 2 years and I only wish I started seeing her years ago!

I cannot say enough about what Dr Vasquez has done for me. I went to see dr Vasquez about a snoring issue, which as many people know, can be quite disrupting in may ways. I have had previous surgical procedures, as well as tried every trick under the sun, prior to my visit with Dr. Vasquez to resolve this issue. Dr Vasquez sent me for a sleep study, and upon learning that my issue was paletal and looking at my surgical history, informed me about a new procedure called elevoplasty. I will attept to find a forum to write a seperate and more detailed review about the procedure in itself, as it is quite new. To simply summarize my experience, this procedure is not covered by insurance, and may be a bit pricey; however if you are in my position, you understand that you are willing to try anything. Upon my expressing interest in this procedure, Dr Vasquez actually agreed to go through the training and educate herself on the science behind it, prior to my agreement. I eventually decided to go forward with the procedure, and to put an already long story longer, her effort and compassion for her patients has really changed my life for the better! The procedure, for those interested, was quite simple. Side effects consisted of a very sore throat on day one, with a very significant improvement on day 2. Ice cubes were my best friend for about a week, not due to pain, but a simple ice cube held in the roof of my mouth really did minimize swelling. Tylenol is definitely enough to do the trick pain wise :) while I am still healing, at thos point it seems as though my snoring is gone! I sleep longer, and better, and no longer torture those around me. I will forever be grateful to Dr Vasquez for caring enough to listen, research and learn about a solution to my problem. I honestly was not expecting the success I have received with this procedure this far, and I hope it continues and lasts. I have been informed my results should continue to improve over the next 6 months. Regardless, the fact that she cared enough to put forward all of that effort to understand a patient, and have the humility to learn how to help me will always mean the world. Dr.Vasquez is one of the best. She is very professional, she takes her time to listen and make sure what information she is sharing is understood. I have been suffering for bad sinus for more than 2yrs, but since meeting her and having ballon sinuplasty i have been feeling so much better,sleeping and breathing well at night. Betsy Vasquez is the best ENT Doctor ever. Over the years I have seen over 15. She is a great listener, reviews files prior to appointment, and extremely knowledgeable. Her staff is also very polite and helpful. So glad I stumbled across this office.

I cannot recommend this practice enough. I was seen by a doctor at another place that did an awful job referring me to a specialist and I had been through the ringer trying to find someone to help me. I came across Dr. Betsy Vasquez online and they squeezed me in the same day. I was incredibly anxious (tears and all) during the appointment, and Dr. Vazquez and her entire staff went above and beyond to help me feel better. They were very kind and empathetic, which was very much lacking in the other doctors I had reached out to. Dr. Vasquez is very knowledgeable and her bedside manor was incredibly comforting. Dr Vasquez is personable and kind. Very much appreciate the way she treated our nervous 5 year old. The office staff is quick to respond and schedule appointments.

I have to give a huge shout out to Doctor Betsy Vasquez (Loudoun ENT) for fixing a deviated septum, removing a concha and years worth of bad tissue in all of my sinus cavities. I feel like a brand new person!! The surgery experience at Reston Surgery Center was wonderful and the recovery was just seven days, and wasn’t bad at all. The office staff were all professional, friendly, informative and comforting. The stints were a “pain in the nose” (which came out today), but really minor considering how I great I feel right now! I will not recommend this provider. Staff is very rude and behave unprofessional. When we called at 9.20 AM and requested for an appointment, the staff said your appointment will be at 9.50 AM. We called and let the staff know that we will be there by 9.50 AM while driving and they said sure its OK. We were on time at provider location and the staff then communicated we were supposed to be at 9.30 AM as paperwork have to be done prior to appointment. They could have communicated this earlier and we would have made appointment accordingly. The provider is fraud and just want to charge the insurance for missed appointment. overwhelming happy with my septoplasty and turbinate resection

I got a tonsillectomy done by her and it was quick and easy, she didn’t lie when she said it was going to hurt and was very matter of fact. I felt as though she cared about me, and any questions I had. She took the time to explain everything to me and what I wanted to know.

I rarely give 5 stars because no one is perfect. But Dr. Vasquez is wonderful! Her staff is kind and she is super caring. I’ve never had a dr who genuinely cared for me. My experience: - I had been diagnosed with lymes and been dizzy for almost a month. When she saw me the first thing she said was “Oh you poor thing!” Felt like mama was there to take care of me. - Then as she started asking me questions she was adding a whole lot more to the notes her nurse had already taken down. She would stop me and ask me to repeat details. Hmm wow may be she really does care. - her conclusion was that she didn’t know enough and that she didn’t want to cause more havoc on my lymes that she would call my family doctor to make a final decision. She thanked me for giving her an opportunity to learn more about lymes. I really appreciate her HONESTY and desire to learn rather than pretend that she’s going to fix me when she can’t - the worst is when the doctor says let’s try this and this and this and make you run around in absolute aimless circles. - she called me 2 hours after I left!! Is that fast or what?! I was so thankful that she was so quick to let me know that she talked with my doctor and my doctor would be calling me back soon. And to be honest, she really didn’t have to call me back because my doctor was supposed to call me. (My doctor, on the other hand, took an extra day to call me. And I had to initiate the call to find out the results) - their office emailed me my appointment notes through their patient portal (this is great to review afterwards) thankful for this! - I emailed their office back because some of my information was wrong. Dr Vasquez replied back the very next day, and even asked me how I was doing. She could have easily just said “ok we’ll fix your info. Thanks for letting us know”. But she thought to ask me how I was doing. This shows just how caring a doctor she is. Conclusion of my appointment was I don’t need an ENT. I went to see Dr. Betsy Vasquez, MD, about recurring coughs due to postnasal drip, chronic sinus infections, and hearing loss due to a blocked Eustachian tube. After dealing with the acute issues with medication, she asked me to come back for further investigation after my immediate issues cleared up. She then determined that my deviated septum was the root cause and about a month later, Dr. Vasquez did my septoplasty at the Loudon Surgery center. The surgery was flawless and everyone involved was kind and attentive; I was in and out the door in about 4 hours. The 7 day recovery was tiring, but not unbearable. I went home the day of surgery and had a nose pad that I used for 1.5 days for bleeding. She did not/not use any packing and I only hand stents/splints (not sure which is the correct term as I have seen both used) stitched in my nose. I did not take any narcotics and used Tylenol and ibuprofen for the whole recovery (which was more than sufficient). Days 2-5 of the recovery were difficult, due entirely to my fatigue and congestion, but not due to any severe pain. In fact, the pain was easily managed with OTC medicine. I spent most of the time in bed and would become very fatigued and very congested if I tried to do too much. So, I just rested. Day 6 was the first day where I felt fine and went about my day normally. On day 7, I had the stents removed and it was amazing (again, no painkillers needed at all). I have never, in my entire life, been able to breath through both of my nostrils. I breathed so deeply it brought tears to my eyes! Now, on day six post-op, I am breathing better than I have in the last 40 years. I could not be happier with this experience and with Dr. Vasquez and her staff. Also, entirely separate from the sugary, is the quality of this office. Dr. Vasquez spent time with me, talked to me, and joked with me (as did her PA, who was also amazing). I never felt like she was rushing me out of her office. I also had a great experience with her nursing staff that was wonderful as well (and the staff at Loudon Surgery Center were great too!). On the administrative end, they did a great job scheduling, a great job reminding me of my appointments via email and SMS messages, and allowed me to fill out paperwork online. I never sat in the waiting room more than 10-15 mines, and always saw Dr. Vasquez within 20 mins of arriving. I also had some complications with my insurance, and the staff handled it all. The bottom line is that this is how medical experiences should be: smooth, compassionate, and efficacious. I will update this review in the future if anything changes, but as of now (day 7), I could not be happier with my choice of Dr. Vasquez and LoudonENT. **Update at 3 months. I used to take allergy pills every single day and had a chronic cough that would hardly ever go away and led to bronchitis on a regular basis. My snoring was out of control and I never slept more than 4 hours straight. Since the surgery I've slept well every single night, I have not taken a single allergy pill, I've had no coughs, and I am just generally healthier and happier than I've ever been. There is still some tenderness in one nostril where the incision was made, but it is minor. Also, for the first time in my life, I can entriely close my mouth while eating. I cannot overstate how satisfied I am with the surgery. Thank you! ****update at 2 yrs. Still going great. No hearing issues. Breathing normally. Never sick. Don’t take allergy medicine anymore. I have had chronic sinusitis for over a decade and have seen 4 prior doctors. Dr. Vasquez was the first doctor to methodically address the possible causes of my condition. She did not immediately jump to recommend a surgical solution as have prior doctors. She successively treated my condition medically. Surgery was not needed. I am so thankful that the coughing has stopped and I can smell again.

Really helpful when I had congestion And ringing in my ear in January. She is thorough and practical and gave me tips to get some relief.

This office is the worst doctor’s office I have ever been to in Northern Virginia. They set you up appointment time, but when arrived you have to wait at least 40-50 minutes before you will be seen. The front desk girl is rude and has an attitude. This office doesn’t make you feel welcomed or wanting to be their patient. When finally I was seen by Dr. Vasquez, she spent 5 minutes with me. Prescribed antibiotics and oatmeal antibacterial cream. Follow up a few weeks later. None of her suggestions helped my sinus infection. I will never come back to this office. Please, read this review if you value your time and seek another professional in the area. Update to my review— I left the office without being seen by Dr. Vasquez after waiting for 40 minutes. My appointment was for 9:20 am. I left office at 10:10 am as I waited in the room for the doctor for another 15 min. Strongly recommend NOT to use this practice. I will be writing a complain about the waiting policies and unprofessionalism with this office to Virginia Medical Board and American Medical Association for the way this office handled my request and not being seen by the doctor at all. she is very unpredictable as to how her mood will be on any given day. . Made a very rude & cutting comment to me & then under her breath whispered oh " I am kidding ". I will NEVER go back to her again.

I have suffered from chronic sinus infections my entire life. When we moved to Sterling several years ago my first experience with VA allergies was brutal, I had to find a good doctor. After my first appt with Dr. Vasquez I knew I made a good choice. I had 100% sinus blockage and a deviated septum. She performed a surgery to correct everything and I could breathe through my nose again! I can’t recommend Dr. Vasquez enough. She’s a genuine person, a great doctor, and cares about what she does.

Suffering for 2 - 3 months with post-nasal drip, coughing and shortness of breath, my Allergist provided me with the names of three ENT specialists. Dr. Vasquez's amazing office staff went out of their way to access my records via the Privia network, and worked me into their schedule the VERY SAME DAY! No one else made this kind of effort. Dr. Vasquez was very professional, knowledge and informed me that a balloon sinuplasty would help me - cannot wait to have this procedure!

IMHO Dr. Vasquez is a fabulous ENT specialist. She listened, asked pointed questions, read all the past testing/paperwork I had...and then was honest...my ears were 'too difficult' for her...and she suggested another doctor - who oddly enough I already had an appointment with in the future. She tried to get him to move up the date, called me and reported she had no luck but said she was here if I needed her.

You will be sorry they are very rude and unprofessional especially Lori the office manager she went as far on the phone as to tell me that Dr Betsy Vasquez did not pay her enough no patient wants to be involved with that or hear that. Dr. Vasquez is amazing! Our whole family sees her for all our ENT issues.

Went to Dr. Vasquez on recommendation of another doctor. Wanted a second opinion after an ENT in Reston said I would need surgery for hearing loss. Turned out that I had water in the ear which she was able to take care of at my appointment. No surgery needed. She was very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend.

I've had 2 appointments in last two weeks and it reminded me of the personal service I received from a family Dr growing up in a small town. I wish Dr Vasquez and her staff could be my family Dr.

Pour service.....I tried to get a appointment with this doctor she never are available....they get me with a kind of nurse.....my ears problems the assistant tell me to take allegra and Flonase spray.....so if this is specialist doctor office ....that's not the service you looking for....also this doctor I think she is always in surgery....I think she needs to make associates with other specialists....

Arrived at 10:26 am for a 10:20 appointment. The receptionist in a very unprofessional and rude manner told me that the doctor has a surgery at 10:30 and can not see me since I was late. Two things stand out. One is the rudeness of the reception clerk. Secondly even if i had arrived exactly on time, and the doctor attended to me immediately without wasting a minute, would she just have spent 10 minutes with me since she had a surgery at 10:30. No professional should be so discourteous.

Before meeting Dr. Vasquez, my family doctor could no longer give me antibiotics for my continuing sinus infections. Initially, I went to another ENT that wanted to do allergy testing and shots. I had been there and done that. Then, my family doctor suggested Dr. Vasquez. Dr. Vasquez listened to me. She was honest, and we talked options. We chose surgery. I hadn't been able to smell for years. I can now breathe freely. I smell, and taste my food! Life is good!!!

Dr. Vasquez really listened to my concerns and took her time with me. I really felt like she was really listening and that she really cared about me and my health. She has an excellent manner and is very insightful. I have a lot of trust in her. And she does not make you wait months for an appointment!

Dr. Betsy Vasquez and her staff at Loudoun ENT Specialists are the best care providers I have ever encountered. Dr. Vasquez is a very qualified and gifted ENT doctor, with an incredibly warm and caring professional style. I have been treated by Dr. Vasquez twice, even though her practice is not covered by my insurance plan, and I will continue to pay out of pocket to be treated at Loudoun ENT anyway, paying out of pocket and worth every penny. You will never find a better caregiver.

I visited the Dr for a right ear pain, she even conducted a sonar test to check my hearing ability and she just dismissed my case saying there might be some pressure built in my ear only because I mentioned her that I was in a flight few days ago & had popped by ears. She prescribed a steroid that I had to take 7 days and I had no relief. I then visited patients first and immediately the Dr there found I have mild internal infection and gave antibiotics. I love love love Dr. Vasquez. She is no nonsense in the appointment, but she has a great sense of humor and listens to everything I have to say and ask. In addition, the whole staff is very competent, pleasant, and great to work with.

A totally competent caring doctor with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Hard to find in a world where most practices churn through patients with a hurried transactional manner. Dr Vaquez and her staff are unique.
