I can honestly say that Dr. Klug has kept me alive and well. Without her I know I would have had a heart attack or any other life taking ailment. I was getting ready to check in to an assisted living home and die. I would say I am her problem child, but she still smiles and wants to help me. I started seeing Dr Klug in October. I love her approach. Her office schedules one client at a time, so you have her undivided attention while you are there. She takes a very comprehensive history and really listens to your health concerns. I love that she has experience in both functional medicine and traditional western medicine. She is a problem solver, not a symptom chaser. You will not be taking more prescriptions, you will be getting better. She listens to you and finds the answer. You won't be disappointed in your visit. Yes she does not take insurance, but she will have you well in no time, so in the long run she is cheaper than conventional medicine. Dr Klug not only saved my life but truly enriched my quality of life!!! I was born without any trace of a thyroid gland. For at least the last 15-20 years I have gone to doctors who did not believe in treating hypothyroidism with any form of T3 - just synthroid. As you get older T4, which is replaced by synthroid, no longer efficiently converts to T3 which is what goes into your cells to provide them with oxygen and energy which fuel the thyroids metabolic function. So anyway, we first decided to try Naturethroid, a porcine form of thyroid which supplies T3 and T4. Unfortunately, this really didn't work but Dr. Klug remained positive and we decided to try Cytomel, which is a synthetic form of T3 in addition to taking Synthtoid. I feel so much better now. When I just took Synthroid and my TSH was low and my T4 was in the high therapeutic range I would feel jittery and my heart felt like it was beating too fast. Now, with Cyyomel, even when my I am in the top range of T4 and bottom of TSH, I just have the energy to function and enjoy life with out the jitteriness and heart palpitations. Dr Klug is more focused on how I am feeling and functioning than sticking straight to the numbers. She is honest, kind, straightforward and determined to give each of her patients her absolute best. Was having nerve pain for several weeks in my foot and was unable to wear a shoe, as any pressure was like a knife stabbing me. I honestly don't know where I would be without her. I went to her because I was having problems with menopause and 5 years later I am not only managing that much better but am feeling more energetic than I have felt in a long time! Thank you Dr. Klug!

I have trusted Dr. Bethany Klug as my primary care doctor for 10+ years! She is compassionate and extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date in her areas of expertise. Dr. Klug is interested in her patient's 'whole life' as opposed to just a set of symptoms a person may be experiencing. I have other friends with hormone replacement issues and their endocrinologists have them place on a one-size-fits-all prescription gel. Dr. Klug digs deeper. I've never had a physician so interested in my lab work or offer explanations of how they correspond. Dr. Klug offers answers to questions you would never know to ask even after reading up on the subject. I have my own custom-made prescription built just for me. It's a lost service and art in the medical community.
