We have been very pleased with Dr. Kapadia. She supported us through the years when our daughter had an egg allergy and she was very encouraging. She was also easy to get in touch with and very responsive. We had a great experience with her and would recommend her if you are looking for a pediatric allergist in the Kaiser system.

Dr Kapadia has been an integral part of my Health Care Team since the fall of 2013. That was the first time she saved my life. She quickly and accurately diagnosed an acquired immune deficiency disease which had gradually developed, causing life threatening damage to multiple organs, including permanent damage to my lungs. Additional lab tests confirmed her diagnosis and she started me on an IV gamma globulin replacement therapy, every four weeks. In Jan 2014 I was accepted into a clinical research study at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda Maryland. I underwent three days of extensive evaluation by leading researchers in this disease. Their highly regarded staff of research PHDs and MDs not only confirmed her diagnosis but stated that her workup and therapy had been excellent, far better than most of the patients they saw. They advised me to me continue the therapeutic regimen exactly as she had prescribed. The second time she saved my life was approximately two years later when an acute exacerbation occurred. This episode was an urgent crisis and her immediate intervention allowed me to stabilize again. A destabilization such as this is known to occur with this disease and Dr Kapadia was prepared to efficiently deal with it. Dr Kapadia is extremely responsive to my needs and concerns, working closely with other members of my excellent health care team in Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, and Gastroenterology among others. All are highly respected leaders in the medical community. Her current therapeutic regimen has continually evolved over the last five years, providing me with current state of the art care based on highly focused scientific research and evidence based therapeutics. I currently receive a five hour IV gamma globulin Infusion every other week, as well as multiple inhalers and other indicated pharmaceuticals. As the foundation in my care she has allowed me to remain stabile throughout multiple surgeries for now fully resolved colon cancer, orthopedic surgeries for three distinct problems, permanent respiratory impairment, and so much more. Any of these additional medical problems could have easily had a much different outcome. Dr Kapadia's excellent care has allowed me to enter my forty-second year of rewarding practice as a Veterinarian, with a bright future ahead both professionally as well as for my many outside interests. Dr. Kapadia is truly a five star allergist. At a young age, I was diagnosed with chronic idiopathic urticaria. Over the years, I have seen many allergists to treat my condition, but no one compares to Dr. Kapadia. Every time I saw her for an appointment she was genuinely caring--not only asking questions about my condition, but also about me as a person. She is kind, compassionate, and hardworking. We tested out many treatment options over the six years I was a patient of hers--and had my hives under control most of the time. Dealing with a fairly rare disease can be challenging, but Dr. Kapadia was always there to answer my questions and help me through it. When I was about to move out of state, she even went out of her way to research doctors in New Hampshire and put me in contact with a local allergist. So helpful!
