Dr. Bernard D. Slota

Dr Slota and his office staff changed my life! I no longer have migraines or sinus issues! Dr Slota understands how jaw, neck, and teeth issues are all related and is wonderful at explaining how to treat each individual problem to heal the whole. I cannot ever thank him and his staff enough!

I would recommend Dr Slota to my friends. He is knowledgeable and help me make an informed decision. I wished his practice wasn’t so far away from our home, my whole family would switch to him.

Dr. Slota and his staff are amazing! Took great care of me the entire time and made feel at ease on top of providing top of the line service!

Best cleaning I’ve had in a while!

I moved to Colorado about 6 months ago and it was time for me to choose a new dentist. I felt really grateful after my visit today to have chosen Dr. Bernard and the rest of his office. From the moment I walked in I felt at home. The staff is friendly and personable, they are quick and efficient. I have a dislocated shoulder at the moment and everyone did everything they could to make sure my chair experience was comfortable! They also recommended specific treatment and gave me timely consideration of when I might need each, but were not forceful into anything and allowed me to make my own choices freely, which I have not always seen in dentistry. Will highly recommend to friends and family.

My impression following my first visit is wow! Staff was kind and caring. The hygienist Jess was very competent, professional, personable and fun! I saw Dr. Honaman who seems great. Seems like I've found a great fit for my dental care.

I referred my mother to Denver Smiles. She is 88 and it had been some time since her last visit to her previous dentist. As always, everyone was very friendly and professional. I know she is in good hands with Dr. Slota and his staff. Me and my husband and our daughter all use Denver Smiles and we all have had the best experience.

I had a new crown seated on December 3. Very good job. Dr. Slota and his crew are very friendly, compassionate and professional. And Rhonda gave me some very good education about the use of fluoride. I recommend them.

Dr. Slota has been our (family of 4) dentist for over 12 years. He is fantastic! He is knowledgeable, intelligent, kind... and does the most beautiful cosmetic work in town. His long tenure staff members are great as well. I dread the day of his retirement. I hope that day is far away.

I was talking on the phone on a Saturday night, and a crown came off my molar and fell out of my mouth! After the initial shock passed, I called Dr. Slota's office. Heather talked me off the ledge and told me what to do until they could see me on Monday. I was in no pain, so that was awesome. When I got to the office on Monday They handled the situation professionally and perfectly all in an hour :)

While my feet were being cleaned I heard, and tried to speak with my mouth open, but nonetheless, there was friendly conversation With my hygienist, Marina. We always get along great and Dr. Slota was direct and helpful with what he needed to say during my exam with him. Had a veneer breakup and gave Dr Slota's office a call on Friday am. They squeezed me in in 45 minutes and out within an hour so I did not miss a scheduled meeting. What a difference a few pictures make!! I went in for my 6 month cleaning and after 50 plus years, I was finally told and shown how I could improve upon the way I brushed and the impact I was making on my teeth when I didn't concentrate as much on my back teeth! I love this office. I have been to many nightmare dental offices. Not this one; your office have been forgiving about pricing, very up front about insurance costs, friendly, honest, and gentle. Marina/ Mariana (sp?) gave me one of the best and most comfortable medical experiences I’ve had in my life, she is extremely informative and just generally comfort and confidence inducing. This has literally been my favorite dentist office I’ve ever been to. The dental hygienist that worked at with me, I can’t remember her name but she’s from Russia, was absolutely amazing. She did a really great job of explaining everything to me but also making really interesting conversation with me at the same time. She told me what work was necessary and what wouldn’t be necessary and how I could prevent certain procedures by making sure to take preventative actions. She also told me she actually used to be a dentist back in Russia but now is a dental hygienist here in America so you really get that level of expertise with her. I also met with the dentist and he was really great at explaining things to me as well and I felt very comfortable with him. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. Plus it’s in a great little quiet spot in Lakewood only 10 minutes or so outside of Central Denver.

They saw me last minute to cover for my dentist who is out of town. I just had my wisdom teeth taken out and was very nervous I was getting an infection. They were all so nice and gentle and made me feel very comfortable about my situation! Would recommend!!

Seven years ago I moved to Belmar and wanted to find a new Dentist. Fortunately, Dr. Slota mailed out a flier that I received in my mailbox. That was the beginning of a wonderful experience. I no longer have a retainer holding my four lower front teeth together but instead, I have four beautiful implants and I can eat just about anything.

My kids have been going to Dr. Slota for several years, but I had continued with my previous dentist for some time. When my previous dental office was sold, the new dentist provided a treatment plan that seemed excessive, so I came to Dr. Slota for a second opinion. Boy, am I glad I did! Dr. Slota's treatment plan seems much more reasonable and more in line with my personal philosophy of dental treatment. Plus his plan was significantly less expensive than the one the other dentist was suggesting. Dr. Slota spent time with me explaining the treatment plan and why he was making these specific recommendations. He showed me pictures and a model of the appliances and explained things in a way that was very easy to understand, and this gave me a strong level of comfort with the plan he was suggesting. I would definitely recommend Dr. Slota as my family has been very pleased with his practice.
