Love Dr. Benedetto and his team. They've been absolutely fabulous through-out the total process of my Bariactric Sleeve.

I had the surgery on 03/03 2020 and everything was perfect. Dr Benedetto and his staff couldnt have been better. The whole process was easy.

Dr. Benedetto changed my life! He and his staff have been amazingly supportive thru my journey and I cant thank them enough. Professional and Caring!

My doctor originally sent me to the Wentworth Douglas Weight loss program and it was awful. Dr. Havaleshko was cold and rude, the program was totally disorganized - they clearly did not know what they were doing. I switched over to Dr. Benedetto at Portsmouth and I am SO HAPPY I did! Dr. B and his team have been incredible every step of the way - comforting, informative, supportive. I couldn't imagine having a better experience. My surgery went great and I didn't have any pain at all. If you are thinking about weight loss surgery Dr. Benedetto is the absolute best around. 5 STARS!

My visit with him was fine, in regards to my surgery, it was awful! He nicked my bowel and didn’t know until the next day when I went septic. Had to go in for another surgery I was still very sick and they couldn’t figure out how or why this was happening so they transferred me to Mass General in Boston needless to say I did not have a very good experience with this doctor and would not recommend him to anyone. My surgery was in December 2017 I was not able to go home and have Christmas with my children and I remained at Mass General for 3 1/2 months and I’m still sick to this day on permanent disability and Social Security

My experience with Dr Benedetto has been outstanding. He was personable, patient and transparent as he educated and guided me through my decision for bariatric surgery. He did not pressure but rather provided all information I needed to make the right decision for me. He is invested in the outcome of each of his patients, not just because he was the surgeon but because he loves to see people feeling great and making positive changes to live happier and healthier lives. Dr. B is one of my favorite doctors ever!! He has stood by me in my weight loss journey for years and I am so sad to see him go. Luckily Portsmouth is not very far and I will be following him up there. They are so lucky to have him! One of the absolute best!

I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Benedetto. Initially I met with Dr. Rivera and I just did not hit it off with him from the start - I could not see trusting him to do my surgery - so I asked to switch to Dr. Benedetto and he was happy to see me. He put me much more at ease and made me so much more comfortable about the entire process. I am now about 6 weeks out from my surgery and things have gone great! I would recommend Dr. Benedetto to anyone.

He even makes House Calls!!!!! I had LapBand surgery years ago and recently felt like my band was getting too tight. I called the office and asked to get in ASAP because I was leaving on a work trip in a couple of days. Dr. B didn't have any office time available so he came to me! He came to my house and took some fluid out of my band. I went on my trip without a problem. I didn't know doctors like this existed anymore!

Six years ago I underwent a very successful Bariatric Surgery with Dr.B. I found him and his whole staff to be warm, responsive and. Knowledgeable. This past weds-thurs-fri-sat to Salem Hospital for more pain that I could ever imagine, was sent home thursday. By the grace of GOD on Saturday the Dr. Nurseing team immediately recognized I need an operation. The stars aligned and Dr. B was not only on all but there. They rushed me into surgery not one minute too soon and Dr. Benedetto saved

I had weight loss surgery with Dr. B and everything - from the initial consult through the surgery - was beyond great. he was so confident that he put me at ease right away. He made it clear that my weight wasn't 'my fault' but I was going to to have to work hard to fix it. The surgery was amazing. I had almost no pain and was home in one day. I would recommend him to anyone!

I got in to see Dr. B through a friend of mine. I had a problem with my gallbladder and could not get in to see anyone else for over 2 weeks. I had my friend call and Dr. B saw me the next day and had my gallbladder taken care of by the end of the week. I could not be happier! 5 stars
