Dr. Benny is well trained, experienced, and considered one of the best, if not the best, spine specialist in Harris County. He is a compassionate man of faith who gets good results. Further, he surrounds himself with an excellent team of friendly, caring, and helpful professionals.

Absolutely love Dr. Benny and his staff. They ALWAYS take the time when I need them. Young lady and dr Benny are very kind and amazing. Officially pain free!

Initial visit was great. On schedule. You can preregister online, so that helped the check-in. Staff is very friendly. Dr Benny is very personable, and he took the time to explain everything and prompted me for questions. He communicated all my choices clearly.

New patient with Dr.Benny and I must say my experience was great; his staff is also great and everything is super clean. Upon arrival you are greeted and helped out immediately. Dr.Benny sits down and listens to everything you have to say, he’s not one of those doctors that won’t let you explain what you feel what’s wrong with you. He also is great at explaining to you what’s going on with you and makes sure you don’t leave his office without a fully understanding, and after he checks you out and finds out the problem is he will tell you what he thinks is the best route to go with. Ease in getting an appointment, friendly staff and wonderful bedside manner with Dr.Benny. He listened to my concerns and came up with a plan to ease my pain.

First of all I was glad to talk to Dr. Benny in person. I am looking forward to my next visit since I had my MRI when we will be having more discussion about what the next step in treatment should be for my problem. Thanks to everyone at the doctors office.

I will start off by saying I think the doctor isn't bad. However, that is where it ends. I was waiting for a procedure to be approved from my insurance for over a month. After numerous calls to his office I finally called the insurance myself. They told me exactly what was needed to get approval. I then called the doctors office and let them know. They said they would call them and take care of it. I was told this several times when I would call back to see if they made the call. Each time was told they were working on it and would call me back later that day. Not only did I never get a return call every time they said they would.... but on my last attempt Ms. Tawnia again said her same speech and claimed she was so sorry and knew I was in pain and would address it that day and promised repeatedly I would get a call back that afternoon.....once again I received no call back...atleast they are consistent. I had also asked that the doctor himself call me because I was done dealing with his incompetent staff but still wanted to give him a chance since I know sometimes managers/owners are not aware of what is happening in the office. Never got a call from him, but I am guessing they never told him. Everyone I met and talked with during my appointment process were knowledgeable and efficient. My only frustration was the check in process. I spent considerable time online prior to my appointment to have the appropriate forms completed. Only when I got to the appointment, I found out I had filled out the incorrect forms and should’ve filled out other forms on a separate email. so word to the wise, make sure the email link you are following is for the correct forms they need at check in. Both emails are very similar and it’s extremely confusing to know which link to follow. I basically thought they were the same email… But found out otherwise! I suffered from severely herniated discs in my L4 and L5 and my primary pain management doctor was unavailable and referred me to Dr. Benny. Dr. Benmy was not only able to see me but get me scheduled for a procedure within a week that provided immediate relief. Not to mention, the phenomenal staff. Dr. Benny is very thorough and communicative in every aspect of treatment. His follow up is excellent. I had severe back pain that required a minor procedure, which he treated successfully.

Terrible. The worst. Dr Benny insisted that the three separate spinal epidural blocks that he did on me would make me better, they did the opposite. As long as insurance was paying, he was going to keep doing injections on me, whether I was getting better or not. The injections provided no relief, while I only continued to get worse over four months. His treatment actually made my injury worse, as it aggravated the nerves in my spine even more. He took me from a patient with a new injury, that could’ve been temporary, to a patient with a permanent spinal injury. Terrible. The worst. I normally don't write reviews but I feel that is my civic duty to let my fellow patients know about this terrible experience... This so called "Doctor" does not show any care for the patient. I was asking questions relevant to my condition to which he is just plain ignorant. He recommended to have surgery which is the last resource according to every other study that has been made on coccydynia. He clearly is just trying to collect on the insurance... I will give him a lower score than 1 if I could. Do not waste your time on this guy... I wish someone had told me that before... Now that I paid over $10K for an injection that did not even help I'm back to square 1 in my search for a Doctor that cares about his patients and not just how good of insurance they carry. Save yourself the pain and disappointment, This so called "Doctor" is only in practice for the money. His office staff does not return calls for 2 weeks then blames it on a faulty phone system. They only answer emails when you threaten to not pay the nickel and dime bills this outfit likes to send. I had injections in my cervical spine and within a week of getting them was in more pain than before having it done. I called the office to let them know about the intense pain and was told they were busy and would call back in 10 to 15 minutes....that ended up being 2 full weeks. I also wanted to know why after getting the COMPLETE cost breakdown prior to the injections, why I was being billed weeks after paying what I was told was the cost. Now the girl who didn't have time for a patient all of the sudden has plenty of time to talk about what I owe? This guy is only about the cash grab....hear me now and believe me later....you will be better off finding another "Doctor" to do your injections. Thanks to Dr. Benny, the chronic pain from my L2-L3 disk compression has greatly diminished with a transforaminal epidural injection.. I highly recommend Dr. Benny.

Some days I couldn't even get out of bed. This Dr. Understood my pain and my resistance to pain pills or surgery. I would and have highly recommend him to friends.
