Dr. Benjamin Evans Wall

I saw Dr. Wall for lumbar spinal pain. He only offered cortisone injections which I have had before with another pain specialist and they did nothing to help. That was all he talked about doing for about 20 minutes or so. However he charged Medicare $935 for a new patient visit of 45-59 minutes.

Totally useless and deserve less than zero stars.I could have asked my referring doctor who referred me to this place to refer me to different pain management doctor, but choose this practice because their website lists my medical condition twice as something they "specialize"  in.  They also mention "feet" 3 times and "injections" everywhere.     I went so far as to call 5 weeks earlier and talk to a medical assistant and confirmed that they treat my condition with cortisone injections.  So my appointment date comes and "Dr." Wall walks into the room, looks at a paper in his hand and says to me "I am supposed to talk to you about getting an electronic stimulator installed in your back".  I knew then that he was a puppet and all was lost.  I knew that he had violated my privacy rights and spoken to a previous Doctor of mine about a previous medical condition that I no longer have. The previous Doctor also violated my privacy rights.  Please do not confuse my terms referring  Doctor with previous Doctor, they are 2 different doctors. He never asked about my pain, where it was, what were my symptoms, or examined me.  He never got closer than 10 feet to me.  He clearly did not care why I was there or have any intention of treating the condition I came to see him for. To make things worse an electronic stimulator which is a glorified Tens Unit in my back is not recognized as a treatment for Neuropathy in feet.  Where as, cortisone injections in my feet  are widely used.  He disagreed with this fact.  Then I told him that there was a lot of information and  photos of where to inject the cortisone into my feet to relieve neuropathic pain on many medical sites on the web.I know he is not a surgeon and I was not there for that but he also disagreed that surgery on my feet existed even thought I told him there were movies of it and surgeons who do such surgery on various medical websites.  I even cited an article in "Practical Pain Management" magazine, which he said he subscribed to, that went into detail how nerve surgery has a 91% success  rate for neuropathic pain.  The article has pictures and everything.   He said I had read it wrong.  No, he is wrong.Â

Dr. Wall is efficient, competent and makes you feel comfortable when receiving shots. He has a friendly and patient personality.

Definitely recommend Dr. Wahl having had cortizone injections for over 2 years, which has enabled me to enjoy a reasonably normal life for a 79 year old. I'm sure with Dr. Wahl's expertise I'd be much worst physically and mentally.

Dr.Wall has helped me with long term joint and muscle pain, and I am able to lead a normal active life with his help.

Dr. Wall is very thorough and caring even when busy. He takes the time to look through my very very long file and is always trying his hardest to keep me as active and pain free as possible. I've been seeing him for over 6 years now and couldn't be happier with him! Trust me... I've seen about 9 other doctors for my back issues over the last 17 years. I've only had one other doctor this good! He is always researching new tech, procedures and meds to help better the lives of his patients.

Unacceptable wait time for shot appointments, depending on which doctor has referred you. Staff does not return phone calls. Doc's bedside manner is great but follow-up and scheduling is a horror!

Dr Wall is an excellent doc; he's nice, friendly, great bedside manners and has helped me so much. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. The staff is always nice even when they are extremely busy. If you need a good PM doc, please see Dr. Wall.

Cold, uncaring, and rude. Displayed zero interest in helping me. Told me that "Everybody is very busy around here." Told me to get an MRI. His staff would not allow me to make a follow up appointment to discuss the results. The staff said that Dr. Wall would call me to discuss the results. Five months later, he has never called. The next time my back goes, I'll be getting on a plane to New Jersey where I can actually receive medical treatment.

Dr. Wall is not only a wonderful person, but a wonderful doctor as well. His bedside manner is impeccable and he helped my husband tremendously. I am in the medical profession and would highly recommend Dr. Wall!

Educated, friendly, helpful and listens to what you are saying to him. Seems to always has the answers and make you feel better and you feel confident in what he is stating.
