After giving this place numerous chances, I have nothing good to say about them. You have higher odds of winning the lottery than getting someone to answer the phone at AHF. My husband and I were patients of the Carroll Clinic when they sold AHF. That was the worst thing to happen to Dr. Carroll’s patients. Last week, CVS called the clinic for a refill on MONDAY and by Friday no one had bothered to return their call. This was not the first time we have had this problem. It’s not even the third time! We were leaving town on Friday so asking for a refill on Monday was more than enough time. On Friday my husband called and left a message because no one answered the phone, yet again. Later that evening the doctor called my husband with an attitude about him requesting a refill at 6:00 on a Friday! What?!?! Then the doctor told him “you haven’t been here in a while” as if he had done something wrong. He was there eleven months ago for a physical and he had another one scheduled next week. Why would anyone go to the doctor if they didn’t need to? So, doctor, how about you lose the attitude and do your job! They have now lost two patients and we plan to tell everyone we know to stay away from this joke of a clinic. After giving this place numerous chances, I have nothing good to say about them. Sure wish he was still our doctor. Absolutely brilliant man.

Dr. Portnoy is a great doctor. He's very professional and friendly. He is someone I have seen for years. I know he has my best interests at heart. plus he has a great staff.

The Best Doctor in Houston!!! He actually listens to his patients. He considers their feeling's and opinions with their treatment. His staff is just as great as he is. They all are wonderful.
