Dr Ben Lesin is the absolute best hand surgeon around. He has been at the top of his game for many years. He is also a very caring individual. I would recommend him without reservation.
Our son destroyed his wrist with a snowboarding accident about 10 years ago. After a long surgery Dr. Lesin repaired it. It healed well and he had no pain after healing. I remember thinking as he gets older I hope this doesn't become a problem. Well, 10 years later and he's fine. We also like Dr. Lesin's personality. He's kind and reassuring. I had hand surgery about 6 years ago and no problems. I would go back to him in a heartbeat.
Wouldn't just tell me that my MRI he ordered showed nothing, but asked me to take time off and I had to go in to see him to hear that, and on top of all that, I was made to pay a copay. ***DANGER*** FAILED thumb joint fusion surgery (2016.) Thumb joint DAMAGED during k-wire removal (2017.) Patient ABANDONMENT (2017.) Lesin is under active investigation by the MEDICAL BOARD OF CALIFORNIA. Please contact me if something like this happened to you.
Dr. Lesin dislocated my hand during my hand surgery and when confronted about it he denied it and sent me to physical therapy. I’ve had to go through several more surgeries to fix his mistakes.
