Dr. Benjamin Lechner

Dr. Lechner diagnosed my fibromyalgia when other doctors couldn't. He treats his patients with so much care and humanity. It was an absolute pleasure to have had him as my rheumatologist. He is sorely missed.

I have been going to this office when Dr. Lechner was still active there. Unfortunately because of loss of personnel this office is not even a shell of what it used to be. I’ve been vomiting the past 4 months because they are forcing me to take whatever medication the insurance recommends over the ones I actually need, simply because the nurse there is too lazy to do the appeal and peer to peer the insurance requires to approve the recommended medication. If I was simply going to do whatever the insurance decides, there is absolutely no need for me or anyone else to see or have to local Doctors. The insurance wants me to “try” another medication which common side effects are indigestion, nausea, back pain, muscle weakness and so forth. I’ve already been vomiting for 4 months, I have a spinal fusion and a recent hip replacement. Any one with half a brain can see that this medication is not something I should take even on a trial basis. Had Dr. Infante been truly interested in my well being and bothered himself enough to take a simple look at my medical records and it is painfully obvious that he, nor his nurse Irina, should even consider asking me to take this poison, let alone try to force me to do it for two months just because they don’t want to do the work it takes to do the insurance appeal. I refuse to become a lab rat and continue to be made sick just so the employees at this office, who have been working there for a lot less time then I have been a patient, are not inconvenienced.

The best DOCTOR

Dr. Lechner was the best. He totally changed my health for the better. I will miss him during his retirement, but the office and staff are still great.

Treats Fibromylgia

I called the office 3 times trying to find out if they accepted my insurance and I was put on Hold for over 30 minutes on those 3 attempts.......they were too busy for me so took my phone number for a call back......and never received one phone call.

I would recommend Dr. Lechner to family and friends in a heartbeat. I have been seeing him for over 10 years now and am very satisfied with the services and the care and treatment given by him.
