This is the worst Dr. Ive ever encountered. Will not talk to you, will not contact you or explain anything..Ive waited over a month for test results with no reply..Upon contacting the office, they just told me to keep doing what Im doing..When I informed them Im doing nothing cause Dr. took me off meds, they didnt even know I was on meds before...STAY AWAY!!! He always shows concern for his patient however I have had issue with his office team too many times.

Slllllooowwwww and forgetful. After waiting in the hospital for 6 hours after surgery and waiting for Dr. Painter to come and give the okay for us to go home... he never came. The nurse paged him twice within a 5 hour spread and not once did he ever come. The super nice nurse finally came after 8 hours to tell us he had went home and didn’t know he had to check on us. What doctor doesn’t answer his pager?! Thanks to him we wasted 8 hours to sitting in a hospital only to be told he wasn’t coming and we have to set up an appointment with him for sometime later that week. DO NOT COME TO GATEWAY MEDICAL CENTER, any hospital is better than this place. Slllllooowwwww and forgetful. I have been seeing DR Painter for years and would not go any where else.

Dr. Painter listened to my concerns. He is taking the necessary steps in order to diagnose Lyme disease. Never wait long in the waiting or exam rooms. He is very kind and professional.

If u can go across the river do it. My husband had an appt with this dr. 3 weeks ago. Waited 15 min to get checked in, the staff was rude and disrespectful. Would not look us in the eyes when they talked to us. After waiting for 35 minutes in a hot waiting room we were walked back to a oversized room which was nice. Along with the nurse who was filling in was very nice and professional. Waited another 20 minutes the dr. Finally came in. Stayed 20 minutes and the visit went well. 3 WEEKS later and many phone calls we have not received a follow up call or what the diagnosis is for my husband and what is done next. Don't waste your time or your money you get better service and professionalism through the mcdonalds drive thru then you do here.
