Staff has been rude to me. Wendy, (supposed office manager) refused to reach back out after 5 attempts to rectify a billing issue. Would not recommend anyone use this office.
Irresponsible office staff. Every time you call have to wait for long time without any reason. Rude and unprofessional staff.
Office staff, is lost for the most part. If they are that busy hire additional staffing. I aslied too for a week, being told my prescription was faxed to a medical supply. The last time it was faxed it wasn’t for my machine. How about a little attention to detail! A rep from the medical supply company Inter wined had the right prescription contacted the Doctor got his signature. What a nightmare. Never again!

I would like to set up appt. but no one answers the phone…….I only get a busy signal. ????????
I can't believe how disrespectful one of the employees was to me today (4/22/2022).I didn't go in the office today, they called me and immediately began reprimanding me for canceling several appointments and NEVER once asked why? This woman kept talking over me and talking to me as if I were a child, then when I stop responding to her rude tone, she hung up the phone on me. Very unprofessional. With me as a Caregiver for my 87 year old mother, husband and 7 grandchildren, it is so difficult to care for myself or find someone to help me. I am shocked by her attitude & behavior towards me, a patient. I appreciate their new front desk lady, so pleasant and attentive, also Dr. G was very helpful and put me at ease.
Great doctor, very attentive, also I like the new front desk staff, even though she is new, she is very helpful and nice.
Best doctors you can find. Extremely caring and detailed. Saved my life more times that I could count. Staff are great also. Every profession has its challenges, doctor offices are no different. Respect and understanding goes both ways which we often forget. Understanding and Compassion is the key. We are usually too quick to complain but not fast enough to show appreciation. Absolutely terrible practice. The woman answering the phone is rude and incompetent. I called 3 times at different times of the day and she was extremely rude, placed on hold for over 30 min, and then hung up on me. Unfortunate that people in the medical field have such low regards for their patients. Highly recommend to stay away from this place. Absolutely terrible practice. The little girl that works the front desk is nasty. Rolls her eyes if she thinks you are wrong. Judging by all these bad reviews she should not be working with people.
This office is the worst on providing customer service. The front desk staff are hard of hearing, you tell them what your there for their answer is I can't hear can you speak louder. It is ridiculous that you have to scream at them to get their attention. The office manager doesn't care about the patients and ignores what you tell her. I'm not going back to that office at all. They have the worst customer service ever. The provider takes too long to see you and he takes patients calls in the middle of a patient's appointment. Phones calls are to be returned after the last patient not between patients very unprofessional and unorganized. Back to back appointments and the providers can not can not keep up with patients flow..... I had an appointment on Thursday October 7 at 11:15 am arrived at 11am and didn't get called to see the doctor until 12:15 pm and the doctor didn't even bother to said I'll be right with you. He took a patient call over the phone while most of his patients had waited one hour and a half. Very slow and not friendly at all. This office is the worst on providing customer service. I had very good experience, doctor is very attentive, office is busy , but hey it's the cost of seeing a good doctor:-)
I waited WEEKS for an appointment only to find out at my appointment time that I cannot be seen because this doctor requires mandatory vaccinations. This is something they should mention before accepting your appointment.
Unprofessional staff. If you want a huge headache then go ahead and try dealing with these people. Definitely not worth the aggravation.
When Dr. Goudarzi is talking, do not interrupt or you get the eye roll and he says 'let me finish'. BUT, if you are somewhat Learning Disabled and/or an older person with not great memory, and he gets to a spot where you must ask a question or you'll forget everything, he will NOT let you interrupt. So at the end of him talking and him telling you the other Drs. you've seen (including several Hospital Staff & other Specialist) are incorrect with what they told you (Note: we trust ea of these people, we don't know the difference, and would rather NOT hear you all bash ea other), BUT what he's telling you is 100% accurate (a little sarcasm), it's confusing. So at the end, you quickly start asking your questions, while he's telling you to gather your things and follow him, he pointed at the Exit sign (check-out), he says he'll meet you around there, as you're still trying to get the question out, then he disappears back to another exam room. You are left, back out front where you started, with the one (1, literally) woman behind glass, who is is answering the phones/placing calls on hold (that's why when you call, IT'S ALWAYS BUSY!), checking people in/out/making appts, etc. She was too busy to answer anything, he went to another patient. I left the office, but called back in (finally got thru) and asked my 2 questions - she then transferred me to a Nurse's phone; got a recording "busy, but they would return the call the next business day" (oh, and it's Friday). I really don't think it's too much, to allow a Patient to ask questions, as you get to that part of the conversation, or to ask before you nicely point him/her towards the EXIT, and point out if they need to go to their Pharmacy over the weekend. Oh, and in reading the printout the office gave me, summarizing my visit - he cut/pasted most of my information from my Hospital stay: i.e., weight & BMI (but I lost 10 lbs within 28 days), said my "Gait" was fine - I normally use a cane, but forgot it and have a hard limp, said my mouth/throat & how I talked were normal, even though my throat was red/swollen and I was SO horsed, people on the phone could barely hear me, etc., etc. Posting this, then over the weekend researching other Pulmonologists in my area, Monday brite & early, start calling around. PS: I WILL POINT OUT 1 PERSON WHO TOOK MY B.P. & OXYGEN, THEN LISTENED WHILE I TOLD TO HER HOW I PHYSICALLY FELT, THANK YOU "STEPHANIE", FOR MAKING THIS PATIENT FEEL LIKE YOU CARED, WHEN YOUR DR. DIDN'T. When Dr. Goudarzi is talking, do not interrupt or you get the eye roll and he says 'let me finish'. I have been going to this office for a few years now. I have had no issues and staff has always been very positive and responsive. Any where you go there may be longer wait times these days but this office handles it very well. The doctor there is very positive and upbeat and always has my best interests as a patient in mind.

very nice staff, and doctors are amazing, thanks for all help
great doctor and the staff were friendly as well
Dr. Gudarzi is very professional and knowledgeable, listens carefully and explains things plainly. I like the new front office staff.
I like this office. Very efficient and friendly staff. Very clean environment with prompt service. The doctors are great and nice. They take pride in helping and going the extra mile with their patients. I highly recommend this office.
Today was my husband's first visit with Dr. Mortazavi, and it was a great experience, He explained everything to us and answered all of our questions and concerns. We will be going back.
This is one of the most caring staff. I have been seen here for a few years and can never complain. Dr. G is very attentive and takes time with his patients. The ladies especially Stephanie in the office are so friendly and very professional. I LOVE the fact that they are also so safe during this pandemic. Dr. Goudarzi is a wonderful physician who is approachable, thorough and sensitive. He is not only proactive, but is reassuring and explains your options. His office staff and nurses reflect the professionalism and standards that he sets. His demeanor reflects on how he treats his patients. I feel that I have been given exemplary and personalized care.
Dr. Goudarzi is a fine doctor. Unfortunately, the practice is poorly managed. The office is small, cluttered, disorganized & rather shabby. Staff is unresponsive and/or prescribes based on voicemail left by the patient. Rather than call back, they rely on an auto-text notification system. They're disorganized & seemingly overwhelmed (and this was true before COVID-19) The latest example happened this week: First thing Mon. morning, my 90-yo Mom called for severe a COPD flare up. By Mon. afternoon, we discovered they'd sent Rx's for her, but to the wrong pharmacy (a mail-order company she doesn't even use!) She called back Tues. morning, I called Tues. afternoon. No response, no follow up, Finally, at 4pm, an auto-text for her Rx's - again, to the wrong pharmacy. We're heading out to the ER instead.
Dr. Goudarzi is a good doctor with a caring, patient demeanor; however, his practice is a mess. It really is. It's poorly managed and I suspect, overwhelmed with a patient load they're not set up to handle. I care for my 90 year old mother who has severe COPD and she has constant flare ups. When she calls to get a prescription for a flare up; she typically has to leave a message & they typically send a prescription to her pharmacy, which generates an auto-text to my phone. No call back, no contact with the patient. Just a software generated text message. Recently, they prescribed her something the pharmacist told me can interact with another medicine she takes, to cause arrhythmia. Yesterday, they sent the prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. We both called them today, with no response, no follow up; just finally, at close of business, an auto-text to notify me they'd resent the prescriptions. This time, they sent it to a 2nd wrong pharmacy. There's no mystery to the mistakes & half-assing that goes on when you visit the office. It's extremely cluttered and disorganized; not quite "Hoarders" level cluttered, but packed, tight, messy and rather shabby. The shabbiness wouldn't bother me if the operation ran smoothly. Dr. Goudarzi is a lovely man and a gives my Mom his full attention when she's there, in his exam room. It's really too bad he doesn't see the problems around him.
Always explains what he recommends is very caring.
very caring physician.
Terrible terrible office staff!!! Great doctor awful staff stay away!!!!!!
My entire experience with Dr. Mortazavi and this office has been a nightmare. I was being tested for possible lung cancer... from a PET scan to a lung biopsy. After each test, I had to WAIT until Dr. Mortazavi had an opening to discuss test results. HE HAD THE RESULTS, but no one at the office would tell me what they were!!! The most recent indignity is I had a CT scan 6 months after the scan... still no malignancy. But Dr. Mortazavi prescribed an inhaler for COPD. Unfortunately, the Rx he sent to pharmacy was not for the medication he recommended!!! In person and on the phone, I have not been able to get this "mistake" corrected!!! The response of the office staff is non-existent. When I appeared in person, I could see that Dr. Mortazavi was in the office... but he couldn't write or phone in a corrected Rx. I would think prescribing the wrong medication would come under the heading of neglect... if not malpractice. My entire experience with Dr. Mortazavi and this office has been a nightmare. I have seen Dr. Goudarzi a few times and so far I am pleased. He takes his time to explain things and answer my concerns. Didn’t feel rushed or anything.
Had 2 sleep studies ordered by Dr Goudarzi between 2012 and 2014. Trying to get results and they stated I never had them done. Wow!!!!!
Tried so many times to reach out to get records. Left numerous voicemails and sent emails and no responses.
Dr.Mortazavi and his medical assistant Neda are horrible. If i could give this place and his staff a 0 i surely would. All these two care about is money not there patients. They do not listen to your concerns at all its there way or no way. Neither one of them deserve to have there medical license and should def. Not be in the medical field. Dr. Mortazavi is a caring doctor who takes his time with his patients. Hope he is around when/if I have lung problems.
Dr. Goudarzi was ok, it is the incompetent staff that is the problem and unfortunately you have more dealings with them than the doctor. They are not helpful and cause unnecessary delays with scheduling because they will not follow up with the insurance companies. They are rude and nasty and "accidentally" hung up on me twice.

Dr. Mortazavi has been my pulmonary doctor for the past years. Even though I now live in West Virginia, I still go to see him twice a year. I love the guy, he takes his time with me, and has Never been in a hurry. The one time that I was very late in him seeing me was due (I found out later) to a life threatening emergency. It happens. As for the reviews regarding the office staff, I am very puzzled by that. I have Never had any bad experiences there. I HAVE seen patients get rude and nasty with the staff First. If that is the case, then they have a right to be upset. I do not know. Just throwing it out there. I am one who has had a severe distrust of doctors most of my life. I'm here visiting for the 1st time and I'm already disappointed by the front desk staff and the young lady who triaged. Neither greeted me with a hello or a good morning. The Dr's fingertip handshake was dry and unwelcoming. I could go on. Fortunately this well be 1 of only 2 visits.
The Doctor is terrific...but GAWD the office staff...good luck if you ever have to CALL THE OFFICE. They give you several prompts to select and no matter which one you punch, NO ONE WILL EVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!! All you get is voice mail. THESE PEOPLE ARE NEVER "AT THEIR DESK"...they are ALWAYS away.....not only frustrating, but infuriating. I'm taking my business elsewhere. What a way to run a Doctor's Office. NO COMMUNICATION. I am so pleased to have Dr. Goudarzi as one of my caretakers. I only wish he could be my primary care physician I know he is very busy, but he still takes the time to answer and explain my questions and conditions. .
He listens well and lets me know what I need to know.
Dr. Goudarzi takes the time to listen and assess all your concerns. He treats each symptom and assesses their interactions.
I have had great response to tx prescribed by Dr Goudarzi. He is very caring and responsive to needs. I have actually referred friends to his practice and will continue to do so.
Have been seeing Dr. Goudarzi for several years for asthma and sleep apnea. I've had asthma for almost 50 years and was never fully controlled until I started seeing Dr. Goudarzi. I find him to be a knowledgeable caring physician.
Always very thorough and pleasant.
over rules anything you say or what another doctor has said, asked me if I was going to quit smoking, charged me $35 for that question, Repeated test that my neurologist had just run, this is strictly a money making operation, that is how I feel.
I?m old and had many doctors in my life. Dr. Goudarzi is the worse I had. I had paralyzing pain; his answer ?I do now know why. Go and buy pain killer. I gave him CD of MRI diagnoses possible lung cancer. His answer: I have no time to with ? it?ll take too long. Bring me another one in three months then I can see. No physical exam at all for couple of hundred dollars.
