Bassam Ghanem

Ghanem took over for Eisenbud after she abandoned my dad in the hospital and went on vacation. Ghanem will not communicate with the family to let us know what’s going on or what the next step is. I have left so many messages with the receptionist at the Simi Valley office to no avail. I guess he figures whatever my dad is going through doesn’t affect us, and I’ve never seen such lack of compassion by a physician.. he discharged my father, and gave us one days notice for us to find a skilled nursing facility or make any type of preparation‘s for him. It’s stressful enough to go through all of this, but for this doctor to add on an extra pile of unnecessary stress is just irresponsible.

Dr. Ghanem embodies the best in professional medical practice with a solid command and understanding of his role as a healer and a human being, and a genuine humility that speaks to the depth of the meaning of his life experiences. In an ideal world, every cancer patient deserves to have an oncologist like Dr. Ghanem, as did my father.
