Dr. Basivi Reddy Baddigam

I would not recommend coming here. You have to wait an absurd amount of time every time that you come here meanwhile the doctors are running out for coffee while there is a waiting room full of patients. You can hear the girls at the front desk gossiping about patients who call on the phone or walk out. I see Mrs. And she will say she will call you back “tomorrow” and you don’t hear from her again until your next appointment. She asks YOU what medication YOU think you should be on. Also, when you try calling the practice they 9/10 don’t answer their phone. I will not be returning to this clinic and don’t advise anyone else to either.

I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews aside from many are likely desperately in need of some mental health and not quite realizing the value this doctor has to offer because their heads are out of whack?!?!?! Me personally, I've been thru 6 psychiatrists in Macomb County and this is the ONLY ONE WHO CARES! WHO LISTENS and WHOSE BEEN ABLE TO HELP!!! Avoid at all costs

I don't even go to this clinic the reason I'm giving a one-star review is because they kept calling my number looking for some Julia lady when I told him this isn't her number they persisted to call me every morning when I told thenurse that this is not Julia's number into please stop calling she got very defensive and told me she was going to call me everyday at 5 and 6 in the morning and harass me just because of that who does this to people take your search for Julia elsewhere I don't even go to this clinic the reason I'm giving a one-star review is because they kept calling my number looking for some Julia lady when I told him this isn't her number they persisted to call me every morning when I told thenurse … More

Unfortunately, I cannot give 0 stars. I read some pretty terrible reviews about him and some good ones so I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. I was very disappointed. The whole time I felt like his highest priority was to get the appointment over. He interrupted me constantly. He ran through a mental checklist so fast of yes or no questions and when I tried to elaborate on a subject I wasn't quite sure of he seemed frustrated with me and then would just repeating himself not addressing my confusion or my question. So I gave up and just started answering as fast as I could to keep up. Looking back I would have answered some of the questions differently. At one point he was describing some symptoms and I said no to a few in a row and he actually stopped what he was doing looked up at me and said "why are you even here?". It was an incredibly unprofessional appointment and I did not feel confident in his diagnosis or his medication recommendation. I've never left a dr's office feeling so insecure and uncared for.

My appointment with Dr. Baddigam was very disappointing. I read reviews online that said he was uncaring and that they just felt rushed out the door from the very moment they sat down. I also read reviews online that said he was wonderful from patients who have been seeing him for years so I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. I was very disappointed. Again he sounded so frustrated I was taken aback. I wasn't sure how to respond so I just sat there. At the end of the less than 25 minute appointment his constantly interrupting me and rushed manner just made me feel like not only did he not care about what I was saying but he didn't even want to be there and his outburst genuinely felt unprofessional. After he ran through the checklist he stated that I was not Bi-polar , which was not the reason I was there, and recommended a medication. I did not feel confident that it was a good choice at all. Seemed more like it was just the first one he thought of. I left without asking any questions, and I did have more, because at that point I just felt judged and I wanted the appointment over. I plan on seeing another Doctor and asking about the medication before I even take the prescription to the pharmacy. I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt and think from their perspective not just my own but I genuinely feel there is no excuse for how terrible that appointment was.

Didn't require social distancing or masks in small and over-booked waiting room. I feared for my health there.

i would recommend dr baddigam to anyone who needs to get off suboxone. i have chronic pain but he didnt try to keep me on it and helped me get off of it. and many ppl never get off of it so for that he’s a great doctor

So far so good. Just waiting.

I was referred by a specialist who evaluated and diagnosed me with ADHD. After what barely qualified as an evaluation, without even asking follow-up questions, he implied that he didn't want to prescribe me stimulant medication because of the risk that I might abuse or sell the drugs. I almost walked out. All I wanted to do was sit down and talk with someone about the pros and cons of treating my condition with medication. I felt invalidated and insulted and will not return.
