I am so glad we did not use this doctor for my husband's Neurologist. In 2003 my husband passed out with a brain bleed and after his MRI's were done, Dr. Theodore told us he didn't know what was wrong and that he would, (in his words) root around in there and see what he could find. I almost passed out hearing this. That was a death sentence to us. He also told us he did not have malpractice insurance. Second Strike. So many more things he did that we had to have my husband transferred out of his care right away. Thank God we did. Our second opinion Dr. told us what my husband had in 5 min (Brain Tumor-non cancerous) what Dr. Theodore couldn't tell us in 4 days. Thank you to Dr. CHRISTOPHER BAKER of the Orlando South hospital for saving my husband. He is a Blessing. I would never ever ever send anyone to Dr. Theodore. I have found Dr. Theodotou to be very professional, knowledgeable and with a vast amount of experience in complicated cases. He is easy to talk with, very patient, listened well and provided thoughtful advice. I found it very easy to schedule appointments. The office staff were great to work with and communicated very well. Dr. Theodotou spent considerable time with me at each appointment — until all my questions were fully answered. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Dr. Theodotou saved my life more than once. Back in 2014 I was in a car accident and my head hit the pavement. I was in such shock when EMS got to the scene they really thought I was okay but I was in shock. I was transported to PB Hosp. did CT scan and seen my brain was swelling and bleeding. From there they aircared me to Holmes Regional and was rushed in for emergency surgery on my brain. Dr. Theodotou did the emergency surgery and had to remove a piece of my skull and placed it in my stomach to "keep it alive" I was in a coma for about a week and a half. A couple months after the 1st surgery I was scheduled to go back and have the piece of my skull that was in my stomach attached back to my skull, and that part was like a day surgery! The whole team was absolutely amazing! I definitely wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for everyone there helping out. Thank you Doctor, and thank you to everyone that helped me pull through. ???? I found out I had a rather large brain tumor the 25th of August. Then had surgery to remove it on the 27th of August... Was feeling better than ever in years after that!!! Released from the hospital the 29th of August!!!! Got the stitches out of my head 8 days later!!! An have been doing absolutely amazing since then!!!! Wouldn't want any other neurosurgeon then Dr Theodotou ever!!!! He and his team did a fantastic job!!! Can't thank him enough!!!!!!! I found out I had a rather large brain tumor the 25th of August. Dr. Theodotou saved my father’s life last year. Dr. Theodotou removed a tumor from his brain under very challenging circumstances. My father recovered and retains all his faculties despite losing most of his vision. The doctor is not only an excellent neurosurgeon but also an engaging physician who patiently answered all of our questions throughout the entire crisis. Our family is forever grateful for Dr. Theodotou’s exceptional talent, skill and dedication to his practice.

I had a piece of disc break off and it was pushed into my spinal cord. I have never had pain like that. I went to my primary and he treated me for a muscle issue. Finally, after enduring that pain for weeks, I insisted on an MRI. After the radiologist read it and said there was no problem, I insisted the MRI be sent to Dr. Theodotou. I knew something was wrong, but was ready to be told I was crazy. As soon as Dr. Thodotou saw my MRI, he immediately saw the problem. Having taken aspirin for the pain, I had to wait a week before he could do the surgery. When I awoke, it was like a miracle. No pain except a little incisional discomfort. To me Dr. Theodotou is a god among men. Even as I now live in Kentucky, if I ever need any neurological care, I will travel to Melbourne to him again, if possible. Thank you Dr. Theo. It's been 14 years and I am still pain free.

Dr. Theodotou performed surgery on my back in 2000. Anytime I talk about my back I am reminded of the excellent work of Dr. Theodotou.

Dr. Theodotou’s straight forward manner made all the difference in the world for my husband. The surgery was tough, but Dr. Theodotou didn’t shy away, he took on my husbands case and did an amazing job. We couldn’t have asked for a better or more thorough surgeon!

I would recommend Dr Theodotou to anyone requiring a neurosurgeon's expertise.

I will always recommend Dr. Theodotou, he is straightforward and amazing. Surgery was a success!

It is difficult to get an appointment. If you have health first you must first have their approval before you can make an appointment.It is frustrating. I live in Mims in the Northern part of the county. I'm unable to drive till the DR. says so. So i'm stuck between the health plan and the Dr. and my ride to travel 1 1/2 hours. Health first is the worst. It wouldn't matter if the Dr. was God himself. Too much other crap.

I went to Dr. Theodotou for a 4-level discectomy and fusion in May 2013. I was never pain-free after the surgery but was expecting that as a possible outcome. Three years later with no physical or traumatic occurrence, I had an acute return of excruciating pain. It was obvious by MRI that he never returned my cervical spine to anywhere close to a natural curve and my scull was literally trying to slide off my neck. Do not use this man expecting a good outcome.

Please let Dr. Theodotou know that Patrice Green, whom he biopsied last month, took his advice and went to Duke Cancer Center. Dr. Allan Friedman debulked the tumor on Dec. 30. The operation was very successful, the body of the GBM removed with no noticeable loss of mental function. She starts radiation and chemo next week in Orlando, a Duke protocol utilizing an immunotherapy program to follow. Now we hope for the best. In any case, Dr. Theo did his job, and it was fine work.

Doctor does not have caring attitude and was very neglectful.

Dr. Theodotou is a very caring person. He explained the results of my MRI. He gave me what my options were and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable talking with him.He took his time and made sure I understood everything in terms I could understand. Office staff was friendly and professional.Just what I expected.

I had to have emergency surgery after a car accident to avoid becoming paralyzed. I had no time to research anything. Dr. Theodotou came in explained the situation and preformed my surgery. He did an amazing job. I am so incredibly lucky to have had such an amazing surgeon preform my operation. I couldn't have had a better outcome. I would definitely recommend him.

I would recommend Dr. Theodutou to anyone with back problems. I saw the doctor in 2004 and had back surgery. It was a success with many years of relief without any pain. Unfortunely, I have another disc problem. So of course I went and saw Doctor Theodutou again. ,He will be doing surgery again. I have so much trust in him, I would never go to another back doctor who just like for you to go under the knife, whether you need it or not. Excellent and will answer all your questions. Not a warm fuzzy type doctor but excellent performance and information. Just a straight forward type of guy that will tell you what is really best for the patient. He is not the type of guy that is financially driven, he is more caring you the patient. Excellent!
