Dr. Basanti Rajesh Vrushab

Very good doctor. Staff is great , courteous and professional. No problems adding as my primary care.

I have been seeing Dr Vrushab for close to 11 years and her detail to explain things going on medical wise is wonderful. I have a very complicated medical history and I have 100% faith that I am in good hands.

If I could give a zero for Dr. Basanti Vrushab's staff, I would. I haven't had the opportunity to meet the doctor. The 1star rating is for her front desk staff Felicia T. She refused to give me her last name and promptly went to put Stacy Reeves, Office Manager, on the phone. (Stacy “proudly” gave me her name.) Unfortunately, Felicia and Stacy were rude and inconsiderate when I requested an appointment with Dr. Vrushab. I was told the doctor wasn't accepting new patients. However, I told Felicia and Stacy I selected Dr. Vrushab as my PCP last year, but didn't need to see the doctor, so this would be my first visit to her office. Felicia kept telling me no new patients were being accepted even after I told her my insurance provider's website stated Dr. Vrushab was accepting new patients. As I pressed for further details and provided my information to Felicia, she begrudgingly looked up my info and curtly told me, "I don't see you in the system." When I asked her full name so I could report her to my insurance provider and let them know Dr. Vrushab's “accepting new patients” status is incorrect, Felicia put me on hold. I guess Felicia was hoping I would hang up. When Stacy, the office manager came to the phone she was rude as well when I told her I was a patient of Dr. Vrushab's. She showed no sympathy when I told her I wasn't feeling well and expected her to demonstrate professional courtesy. Then, she had the nerve to try and chide me with, "Did you call our office to check to see if we were accepting new patients?" My advice to prospective patients: 1) Stay away from this office if you're looking to be treated with respect and professional courtesy. When I called my insurance provider, they stated that doctors often do not afford them courtesy to call and update their "accepting new patient" status. My advice to Dr. Vrushab: 2) Dr. Vrushab, get rid of your rude staff, hire courteous professionals and have them update your "accepting new patients" status with every insurance provider you’re associated with. My advice to Felicia and Stacy (if this is your real names): 3) Please take customer service training until you pass the course with a 100% and then practice the training on a daily basis to everyone. Hello Everyone, I went into Dr. Vrushab's office back in 2012 for digestive problems I was having. Basically, I would go days without being able to use the restroom. I had been to multiple doctors and specialists and even a few trips to the ER with no diagnosis. I even had to get a colonoscopy. After multiple docs saying it was IBS--even though I knew it wasn't because of the severity of the symptoms, I went to Dr. Vrushab because she was an intern. She did a plethora of tests on me to rule out the possibilities of what it could be, which the other docs didn't do, and, because she di that, I was able to narrow it down to me being gluten intolerant. Once I gave up gluten, I immediately began to feel better after 2 years of suffering. She's been my primary for a decade, and I always thank her for helping me through that dark time in my life when I go see her. If you looking for a thorough and qualified doctor, look no further than her. Sincerely, Steven

One of the worst doctors in the DFW metroplex. Stay way from Doc. Vrushab. She treats patients like lab rats, and forces meds on you

Everyone assciated with this practice is top notch. They go the extra mile for their patients. 18 years as a patient there and I'm still appreciating their dedication to the best care!

Not really a fan of Dr. Basanti. She is quick to prescribe medications without letting you know the side effects and often rushes appointments

Great Doctor, very professional.

Dr Vrushab and her staff from the front office to check in nurse to my appointment time. Its rare you find a Primary Physician with this kind of service. She is intelligent, thorough,knowledgeable,patient,and educates. Something I have never recieved from a Dr, Absolutely love Dr. Vrushab! she is definitley a gem!

I have a great personal but professional relationship with Dr. Basanti. Simply put I'm really just a patient. She's been with me since Dr. Bull retired and She has helped me several times. Dr. Vrushab is a fantastic doctor. I have recommended her to a couple of close friends and they are both very happy. I see Dr. Vrushab as well as the nurse practitioner Tashi Sherpa - depending on availability - and both are wonderful. I'm also very pleased with the staff. They are very friendly and professional and when I've had to call the office, calls are promptly returned. I would highly recommend this doctor office.

Doctor Vrushab Basanti is very intelligent, caring never negligent. I wish and pray for her to be more successful in her career I would always recommend her based on my experience

We Have been seeing Dr. Vrushab since Dr. Bull retired. She is easy to talk to and has taken good care of us for many years. The office staff is busy because she is a great doc and has a busy practice. If you need a specialist, her referrals have always been excellent as well.

I have been a patient for years and I love Dr Vrushab, a lot in fact. I have sent many friends and family members to her over the years. Dr Vrushab is top notch. She has an excellent attitude. Very compassionate and caring. Extremely skilled. All of the most important things you need from a doctor. My rating is for the staff. The nurse practitioner Tashi Sherpa is the absolute opposite of Dr Vrushab. I have seen her on three occasions and all three were not good experiences. She does not follow up on a timely fashion. This could be an issue with the staff. I must call and call and call to get answers to my questions, get refills, get results of tests, etc. it’s exhausting and uncalled for. I am actually considering looking for a new primary care. I just do not understand why Dr Vrushab does not fix her staff issues. I know she must be aware of it. Lots of people have the same issues. A very frustrated patient.

Her office staff sucks! I'm also not happy that the bloodwork I had done over a week ago with some critical numbers have not been addressed. After yrs of being a patient, I'm cutting ties. Ridiculous!

Dr. Vrushab has been my doctor for two years now. She is an incredible caring and compassionate doctor and I know with my entire being that she truly cares about me and my health. She encouraged me to quit smoking after many years and many unsuccessful attempts, but she was so concerned and spoke to me in a way that made me finally pay attention. I've been a non-smoker ever since (2 yrs!). She is very knowledgeable and I trust her completely. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Vrushab, Tashi Sherpa, and the entire staff. I absolutely love them all. Wish I had found them sooner.

Great at prescribing opioids about it need a good pill dr. u found it

Been going here since before Dr. Vrushab became a partner and, eventually took over the business when Dr. Bull retired. I've seen Dr. Vrushab once since then. All other visits have been with her nurse-practitioner because that was the quickest way to get an appointment. Most recently, I have been trying to call their office since last Friday (3 days) and the phone is either busy or left unanswered. I just got through and was put straight to hold where I still sit 15 minutes in without in hint of if I'm still connected or not. Up until today I would have maxed the stars. Good doctor

I’ve been seeing Dr V since 2012 and am very glad she’s my internist. She’s smart and very knowledgeable about her profession of course; but also incredibly nice, pleasant and likable. I’m a former critical care/trauma RN and I’m very impressed with Dr Vrushab and her staff.

I've been Dr Vrushab for almost 9 years (when she joined Dr Bull's practice at first) and she has always been wonderful! Bonus: the office staff is amazing too!

Just called and tried to make an apt. Here and the the front desk wouldn't help me because I didn't know something that wasn't on my insurance card. This practice has gone down hill quickly after Dr. Jarvis Bull retired. Dr. Vrushab is very nice, intelligent and is a good doctor however her staff and attention to detail is terrible. Dr. Vrushab's office does not communicate well, fails to send orders to pharmacies as promised, fails to respond to pharmacy faxes and phone calls and lastly fails to update patients that RX orders will not be refilled unless an office appointment is scheduled. Unfortunately the above incidents are not isolated but chronic for the past twelve months. For me it is sad because I was Dr. Bull's patient for over 20 years. Dr. Vrushab and staff are always 1st rate. They are a team of people that take the time to listen and understand. I highly recommend Dr. Vrushab!

I was a patient of Dr. Bull for over 10 years. I loved him! I think Dr. Vrushab has been a wonderful replacement and is a great doctor.

Dr. Vrushab is awesome. She listens to me, is very kind and caring, and manages all my illnesses. She is available and her staff does a very good job.

Excellent doctor and maybe staff working the front office, taking phone calls, etc, has their days. We all do. I can say one thing for certain. I had been seeing other doctors for severe ongoing neuropathy. It was horrible, intense pain for years. I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and some other condition similar as well. I thought pain management would be last resort. I was tested for diabetes and results were negative. The second step was a series of B12 shots. I was literally amazed knowing, after several shot over a duration of a several months It literally removed all pain and I was able to function more. I have no more episodes. Is the neuropathy eradicated? Who knows. At this time, it is gone, almost in its entirety. She is the best doctor I have been to in my life. As for staff, we are all entitled to bad days. I no longer suffer from neuropathy, and with no doubt, it is because of her expertise and being one of the best. I love Dr. Basanti; she takes her time delivering information to where you understand. My husband and I both see her. Her front desk employees, on the other hand need to work at Walmart somewhere. They are rude and have no good customer service skills. When you walk into an office, they are the first people you see. They should greet you with a warm welcome and make you feel comfortable. These little girls or young ladies have no respect. They could use a class or two on good customer service and how to treat patients. Really good doctor, but end up waiting way too long. Dr. Vrushab is amazing and takes the time to talk to you. Been waiting for over an hour and still haven't seen the doctor. I absolutely love Dr. Vrushab and her staff. I've been a patient of hers for about a yr. and I wish I would have known about her sooner. They are always so friendly and make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of.

Fantastic Doctor, but her office is run by a group of teenagers. Hard to get things done; appointments are messed up, Rx's take too long and get lost or confused, and the staff are (literally) children with no respect for their elders. At all. None.
