I was greeted by the office employee. I was told that I would be seen in a few minutes by the nurse when she came to retrieve a patient who was already waiting when we arrived. The service was professional and the Dr. was professional and listened to my foot and toe problems. It was nice not getting the brush-off for some aggravating toe and foot problems I have had for several years. It is a comfortable office and much better than another office I had visited several years ago which felt like a large factory office. The contact was personal and professional. I apprectiate that. The nurse was also cordial and paid attention to us without being pushy. Overall a very good experience with Coastal Maine Foot and Ankle.

Dr. White and his staff were timely, knowledgeable, and friendly. I received practical, understandable medical advice. Highly recommend this group.

Dr. White took his time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed and felt like he was actively listening to my questions/concerns.

Wonderful Dr and staff. Traveled 2 hours from Boston area for surgery and follow ups after positive recommendations for Dr White. Pleased with the outcome of my lapiplasty bunion surgery. Will be back for the other foot next year.

I'm 62 and have had bunions since I was a little girl. I'm very active, but lately my feet have been hurting me during activities. I was interested in the lapiplasty procedure and Dr. White was the only doctor in my area that performs this procedure. I saw him today and I was truly amazed at how concerned he was of my issue. I had x-rays of my feet. He went over everything thoroughly and explained how my feet could get worse without taking some action. I am very impressed with Dr. White and look forward to getting my feet healthy again. Thank you Dr. White!

Extremely pleased with initial visit. Dr White is very competent. He listens compassionately and honest in his assessment. He carefully crafts a plan of care appropriate to stated desires and realistic goals. Have had many orthopedic problems; Dr White was the best clinician ever.

Doctor and staff were excellent. Ignore the text message system! It is very confusing and hard to negotiate. You can NOT make an appointment on line. Talk to the office.

I had bunion and hammer toe surgery in August. I am completely satisfied with Dr. White and his great staff, he explained everything that was going to happen, answered all my questions. I feel i made the right choice choosing Coastal Maine Foot & Ankle. I've recommended my co worker to visit his office. BRUIN is a wonderful bonus to the practice.

Dr White has been very easy to discuss treatments and with great results in process.

Met with Dr. White for potential plantar fasciitis which exam and x-ray confirmed. Received 2 cortisone shots and instructions to lay low to alleviate inflammation. Courteous & professional staff. Returning in 4 weeks for further evaluation.

They will help you right away if you have a problem that can not wait. Dr. White is a very experienced doctor. This is my second time I see him.

Checked in quickly with professional and friendly staff. Dr. White was on time, listened to my concerns, communicated in an understandable language, and gave me as much time as needed.

friendly staff and Dr White is the best

Very busy place, but very knowledgeable. I did kind of feel rushed, but felt that the information I received from the doctor was spot on to my symptoms. I asked for a copy of the Dr notes because we discussed so much in such a short time and they told me that they would send me a copy and that the nurse would follow up with me to schedule surgery. Coastal Maine Foot and Ankle is every bit as high-tech and experienced as anywhere I've been in Portland, but they take considerably more time and genuinely seem to care about me as a patient. Dr. White spent plenty of time talking to me about my issue, asking questions and answering mine. He explained everything, presented multiple treatment options, and did a quick x-ray of both feet that made everything he was talking about very clear. I feel confident about proceeding with him to the next steps. It's also reassuring to know that he's regularly called in to do surgeries at Maine Med, Mercy and elsewhere, and that when he's not helping patients here in Maine, he's teaching and giving seminars to other doctors all over the country. Dr. White was great at explaining the issues and recommendations for treatment. He took his time and addressed all of my concerns, I would recommend his office to anyone needing to remedy a foot or ankle issue!
