Dr. Barry Mark Triestman

Dr. Barry is the best of the best. Not only does he do a thorough assessment with a sincere, healing presence, he finds the root cause for proper treatment and relief. I highly recommend him to address those hidden, bothersome ailments.

I've been seeing Dr Barry for about 15-20 years. He's helped me troubleshoot and fix so many problems over the years, I can't even begin to enumerate. But one this is for sure, at 58, my back and neck are probably in better shape now than when I was in my early 40's. And coming from a guy that skis 40days a year, still rides motocross and snowmobiles constantly, there's been plenty of wear and tear to fix and maintain.

Barry has been extremely effective in helping me deal with lower back pain and tightness in the surrounding area. His active release and deep tissue techniques are very helpful and his focus on correcting my posture and using my core muscles more effectively have expedited my road to recovery.

Dr. Triestman has really help me get better very quickly. I have issues with lower back and scar tissue and his knowledge and application of ART has definitely helped improve the quality of my daily life. Dr. Triestman takes an incredible holistic and balanced approach to care including but not limited to diet, exercise, sleep, muscle and spinal manipulation- he is incredibly comprehensive in his approach and care- highly recommend him!

I've went to Dr Barry for some lingering injuries that refused to heal. He is very professional and very engaged. I'm slowly, but steadily, seeing improvement in pain that has bothered me for years. Highly recommended!

Dr Barry is an excellent, holistic care provider. His chiropractic skill, ART skill, and supplemental exercise coaching help me manage two bad hips and low back pain so that o was ready for having both hips replaced. My recovery from surgery has been excellent. I can ride my bike, engage in strenuous Pilates exercise, ( I am a certified instructor ) and, hit my 7 iron 175 yards. Nice!!! I’m 62. Thanks Dr Barry

Barry takes an approach that helps alleviate your issues in a quick manner. His adjustments and ART (Active Release Techniques), combined with a little self-discipline doing stretches makes for a fast recovery.

For 54 years I have been in pain daily from falling 30 feet from a tree and landing sitting. Dr. Barry is the most amazing healer, he and his A.R.T. keep me out of pain better than anything else I have tried. After 3 sets of PT for my shoulder and my knee with no pain relief in three years I tried A.R.T. After only 2 months of seeing Dr. Barry both issues were pain free as long as I continue regular appointments and the 5 minutes of exercise he gave me a few times a week. I worked with my hands all my life and Dr. Barry also has the best hand work, I no longer need to sleep with hand/ wrist braces. I have been Rolfed, had 30 years of Feldenkrais, tried Aston Patterning, Somatics, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Quantum Energetics, conventional Chiropractic, Atlas Orthogonal, Magnets, Far Infrared, Steam Saunas, Yoga, Weight Lifting, Swimming, Organic Beds, and a Physiatrist, MD with narchotics medications. I was really impressed with Barry. He worked out an exercise plan for the future and had a really strong approach to my lower back issues.

Dr. Berry was very professional and helped me understand everything so clearly. Definitely recommend. And my back hasn't felt this good in awhile.

Dr. Barry is the very best that I have found in this business. He has really helped me with my hand and arm problems and is also correcting my daughter's back issues at this time.

In addition to being the best chiropractor I have used, he includes ART and Pilates methods to help you regain and strengthen muscle function. Dr. Triestman is a genius! I have had chronic back pain for years, and typically went to a traditional chiropractor that would crack me pretty hard and typically cause more pain to get better. Barry is very gentle and worked on the area before adjusting me which made it easy more affective. The results have been lasting and I feel better than I have in years!

I went in to get adjusted and he figured out I had broken three ribs!! Saved me a lot of trauma.

Conventional chiropractic, medical and PT care have failed to identify or successfully treat, in a timely manner, different injuries I've suffered. Skilled, careful and thorough treatment by Dr. Triestman on two different occasions, quickly brought relief. I had a great experience with Barry. He's direct and gets right to the point. I came with problems with my knee that was getting in the way of running, and Barry turned it around in a matter of weeks, both through active release techniques, explaining body mechanics, and suggesting exercises and strength work. An appointment with Dr. Barry is an education. Not only does he put me on the path to wellness, he explains where I went wrong that caused the injury and then takes the time to explain why the treatment and exercises are going to work. I have been seeing Dr. Barry off and on for years. He has helped me recovery from many sports related overuse injuries as well as kept me healthy through periods of intense training. His knowledge of anatomy and physiology is amazing. Whenever I am in the Tahoe/Truckee area I find time to get in and see him.

Helped me with my back pain and carpal tunnel. I had been to a chiropractor before that had just adjusted the spine which was helpful. Dr Triestman also used the Active Release Technique on the muscle of the spine, buttocks and hamstrings this helped the back so fast compered to a regular chiropractor. He also heeled my carpal tunnel which the regular chiropractor and physical therapist could not help. This helped me avoid surgery. He also helped me with my posture.
