Barry Anthony Scanlan

I had the stress of locating a new primary care physician after my doctor of 20 years moved on is moved on to a different type of practice. That left his former practice with only 2 positions and a 2 month wait to be seand they refused to call in any medications until you were seen by the new position it has been such a headache however the people at this practice are superb They made the transition so easy That it made me wish I had went to this practice 2 months ago The folks that work at the front desk are awesome supernice and made this very painless and doctor Scanlon Spent 45 minutes getting to know me And my medical conditions so that he could treat me appropriately I honestly wish that doctor Scanlon had been my position for the last 20 years and as long as he is in practice he will be opposition till the end!!!

Love both Dr. Scanlan and his assistant Rhonda! They pay attention, listen to my concerns and recognizes the fact that I know my own body and health. Not happy about is their current location, but they're worth the drive.

Dr. Scanlan is very caring and compassionate. He is also very thorough. I feel I am getting the best care possible and that all of my concerns about my health are being addressed when I see him. He also has a very good rapport with his patients.

Excellent care and consideration from the whole team.

He got my T levels right. He used a nasal testosterone and I have never been better. My family says thanks.

He and his staff go above and beyond to get our medicine for free or at a very low cost.

Dr. Scanlan is the best doctor I have ever had. He takes the time to listen and follows up with aftercare. His nurse Rhonda is also a real gem. This team is the best there is.

I was his patient for almost 10 years and then he changed. I am glad he is no longer my doctor.

Does anyone know where he is practicing now? I want him back!

I couldn't have had a better Doctor

He is competent, but is not understanding of the fact that I prefer alternative medicine for treatments. I have been misdiagnosed so many times in the past and given the incorrect treatment, and often that has proven to be very dangerous. I prefer to use alternative medicine, and I have the right to do so, I just wish that he would be more understanding. I am almost 70, and I don't won't to be subjected to unnecessary treatments or surgeries. I feel that I have a right to make this choice. He cares about his patients. You can trust him you are not another number. He looking at you and your health and want the best out come for you help has a heart of a true doctor and yes I do recommend him to everyone ??

Six years later and I'm still living with the hack job this guy did on me, which might I add only required a 7-day dose of antibiotics. I'll be living with issues for the rest of my life thanks to him. Highly NOT recommended!

Fast service and everyone's very polite. My husband has been going there his whole life and has a very rare disease that he was born with. Dr Scanlan is the best in Gastonia.
