Dr. Barry Richard Jaffe

I am a relatively new patient of Dr.Jaffe and associates. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. The doctor has a “light touch” and makes the patient feel comfortable during the dental procedures. I recommend Dr. Jaffe and staff highly to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

Since Dr. Brinda left, this practice went right in the toilet... I just waited 1&1/2 hours to see an ARROGANT CONDESCENDING man, with a butcher assistant...LAST TIME

I had to have gum grafting done and in the process came across Dr. Jaffe, who is certified in the pinhole technique. After doing some research, I decided to book a consultation. I was a complicated case and unfortunately did have to do grafting instead of the pinhole procedure. However, Dr. Jaffe did a very thorough consult, explained everything in detail and made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. I went back and had it done, it was not nearly what I had expected. Everything went super well, didn't take long, and most importantly, it didn't hurt. I am very pleased with the entire experience. My initial appointment they had us waiting almost an hour. My child is a minor and they would not allow me to go back with him until after the examination. Then our next visit they had us sit and wait yet again. So we left!!! The staff is extremely rude and I would not recommend them at all!!!!

I just received a second phone call from a debt collector claiming I owe Dr. Jaffe ~$100. I paid whatever the front desk told me to pay after my procedure... 4 years ago... why was I not contacted about this 4 years ago? Why do I owe ~$100 and what for? I was trying to make payment plans and the front desk when he’s just continue to yell and scream in the phone so unprofessional if you don’t have it you don’t have it I was going to payment plans

Over 10 years ago I had a root canal done here and it only lead to issues and spending more money to have the work undone. I remember Dr. Jaffe was never very gentle when working with my teeth. I took my children to this dentist and mostly everyone was nice a year ago. A hygienist tried to convince me to not be in the room with my 2 year old and made it extremely uncomfortable when I refused. Dentist eventually came in and said I could stay as long as I dont speak to my child during her cleaning. 2nd time we visited this year. I felt uncomfortable again listening to the way dentist jaffe spoke to the hygienist, in a very rude attitude like tone. I dont think he is best suited for children. He seemed cold and aggressive while working on her teeth even though she didn't move an inch entire time. We won't be going back. Great doctors, patient with teenager and preschoolers. I like the availability and that it is close to my house. I’ve seen two drs here and always very nice and do a great work.

I have only words of gratefulness and thankfulness for finding Dr.Christina Brinda. Dr. Brinda had root canal done on my tooth number 14. She and her assistant Angela were so caring and kind to me. They listened to me and my needs after i told them that i have low pain tolerance and that I'm afraid of this procedure after I had bad experience with another doctor that opened that same tooth, but never finished it. Dr. Brinda was so gentle and professional. She took her time and didn't rush. I was given stronger anesthesia and I have not felt any pain or discomfort like with previous Dr. Aico in Westlake who treated me rude, poorly and didn't care that I was in pain. I would also like to thank Wendy who answered the phone first time i called for help as my tooth was only closed with medication because Dr. Aico didn't finish it and sent me out the office telling me I have to go to a specialist because "she cant work on me jumping out of the chair". I moved few times because I felt a lot of pain. Not every office would accept to help you with work on the tooth that someone else started working on but never finished it. Amber was also someone I m so grateful for as she reassured me that Dr. Brinda is amazing and gentle doctor and that i will love her. I wanted to take my time to write this review as that is at least I can do to say how thankful and grateful I m for finding Dr. Brinda. I would recommend her to anyone I know. This office is not as modern as one I was previous with but I don't care because from now and on Dr. Brinda is the only doctor I will be seeing. Dr Jaffe is a great dentist, he is always offer a lot of options and his assistant is very kind ( young lady with black hair), actually all the stuff are very professional.

A wonderful 5 star office! Honest and fair doctors. Dr. Jaffe is always offering multiple options when it comes to treatment. Dr. Brinda always offers a kind gentle touch. Would not go anywhere else. My family and I love it here!

PEOPLE WITH DENTAL ANXIETY: Get the nitrous oxide ($82) and put headphones in during the procedure. I cried for 2 hours straight before I even got to the office, and I started hyperventilating when they were about to get started. So the assistant let me hold her hand and helped me to take deep breaths. Then I got the nitrous, and it was smooth sailing from there. Thank you all for taking such good care of me! Had braces done here at a very young age. So much to say about this place. The receptionists are extremely rude and make you feel uncomfortable. My dad took off work to take me to an appointment but we were told very rudely that we came on the wrong day. He ended up finding the appointment card and her tone changed immediately. When you get there, you awkwardly stand by the glass window for some time while the receptionist stares back and continues doing something or talks to the other girls. Also, my parents came to the U.S. as adults so their English isn’t the best but they try very hard and went to school to learn the language. The people at this office treated them differently as a result of their accents and I remember this very clearly even though I was just a kid. Now, I would’ve given them a better rating if my teeth turned out nice after my parents spent thousands but oh goodness no. As a result of this dentist’s work, I now have TMD, horrible jaw pain every single day, and sometimes it locks and I can’t pop it back into place for hours because my bite is incorrect. I’m very unhappy with the appearance of my teeth and profile. My nose appears bigger and started deviating from the center, my jawline is less sharp, lips are sunken, my smile appears sunken and my teeth are barely visible when I laugh or smile. Very thorough and understanding of my needs. I liked that I did not feel pressured into treatment. Dr Brinda is an exceptional dentist as well! Would recommend to anyone!

Excellent,I’ve been dentist shopping for about 8 yrs,went through 4 different ones,none were very good,but dr Jaffe and staff were great!...my smile was in bad shape,doc helped me find an affordable plan,couldn’t be happier!.

I've gone to them for years with my family. After recently moving to NYC I truly miss being under their care. The staff is amazing and they work to help you understand the process fully. I never had to wait too long and was always treated with respect. Overall, great place.

Dr Jaffe is barbaric and rough, I went to them with two cavities had them filled and the fillings have both fallen out 3 times each in a four month time frame. They are running a scam and putting in weak fillings so you have to keep going back and pay again for shoddy work.

BEWARE!- The people and the services offered by this office are horrible ! * The staff , including Wendy - the Office Manager- is very rude, dismissive, condescending and dishonest ! The way they speak and treat the customers is unacceptable ! * Keep track of any monthly payments made to this office , as they will try to make them lost. I went thorough a similar situation with my monthly payments for the braces and I was contacted by the Office Manager - Wendy- and very rudely I was told they were missing payments. Upon a detailed research, it resulted that they misplaced the payments and refused to admit any fault. I had to prove through the bank that all payments were made on time. * I had multiple x-rays taken over time and the doctor agreed I didn’t need one for a dental issue I had at that specific time - yet the Office Manager-Wendy refused to get a pre-treatment estimate without one , falsely claiming that the insurance won’t cover the treatment unless I have a new x-ray film! When I checked with the insurance , she didn’t even called them! The insurance confirmed that the doctor is the only one who can order x-rays and not the Office Manager! Sadly, I am completely sure that both doctors know what is happening ! * The main strategy of the office is exaggerate the gravity of any dental issue , to make you think that the next day you could loose your teeth - and therefore milk your insurance - Do not fall in this trap ! Dr. Barry Jaffe, D.D.S is a wonderful dentist! He spends all of the time I need with him. He listens to me and addresses my issues and concerns. He finds affordable ways to fix expensive issues with options that my insurance will not cover!! His staff is also exceptional! They make me feel at home and comfortable. New to this office with ALOT of work to be done and they have been wonderful so far. The entire practice has been a pleasure to work with.

I have been going to this office for 10 years now and cannot express how happy I am with the doctors and staff. I now have a better smile because of them. I would never expect for them to wait on me if i was late, so I am never late, especially if I have an end of the day appointment.

What a refreshing experience. The doctors and staff make sure that you, as a patient feel welcome and comfortable. I have never had a better experience in any other office.

Absolutely the Best Dentist I have ever went to!!! This Office has went above and beyond to fix my teeth and to work with my insurance to make it happen.

Dr Jaffe front end staff are horrible. My appointment was at 130 and I was outside the locked door at 137 looking at my phone to make sure my appointment was for today and then looked up their phone number. Meanwhile the dentist on for that day went out the back door. And the front staff were so rude and I waited months for this appointment I was seven minutes late give or take my time on my clock. And they knew they were wrong.

Very compassionate and helpful! From start to finish I was made to feel like apart of their family. Very clean, and professional! I will certainly be sending my family here!

Did not go over treatment plan. Removed perfectly good white filings, filed down four teeth and put silver caps on. I was very disappointed because I did not go in for back filings but for one in the front. It took several appointments (three weeks out) before he actual did the filing that I originally went for and then one of his assistance broke a tooth with a tool and he did subpar work correcting this damage and I had to go to another dentist to have the tooth completely removed.

Please do not waste your time with this poor excuse of a dentist/ dental office. I've gone there for many years. I had braces, and standard time to revisit is every 6 weeks, I was lucky if they got me in every 3 months. They were inexcusably rude when i asked questions and never really provided answers. I was told I have many cavities, but as soon as I walked into a different dentistry they told me i was completely fine. After I got my braces off, the assistant shaved my tooth, and it looks completely unnatural and as if she had no training. When I was 15, they had dug to deep in my tooth, causing high irritation, so I had to get a root canal, and they made me pay for it. I DO NOT GO TO DR JAFFE.
