Dr Holcomb is knowledgeable and thorough

Dr. Holcomb is easy to talk to. He listens, asks questions, and then answers while educating you as to why certain things are the way they are. He is an expert in his field and can explain in laymen terms! He is wonderful about switching to virtual appointments when weather is bad. I feel very confident with Dr. Holcomb.

He has a great bedside manner, and is very knowledgable

Dr Barry has taken very good care of me for many years and is continuing to do so. He is very professional and always concerned.

An intelligent, scientific ,yet intuitive doctor.

Dr. Holcomb is a positive, knowledgeable, caring doctor.

Dr Holcomb is a very knowledgeable pulmonologist. He explains my test and procedures so that I fully understand them.He is very kind and caring. Thankful he is my Doctor I highly recommend him! Judy Archibald

Dr.Holcomb is down to earth, easy to talk to and able to answer all my questions efficiently. Refreshing.

Office staff was friendly and helpful. Nurse was professional and caring. Dr Holcomb was knowledgeable and friendly. He did not rush us. He explained things well and listened to us.

Dr. Holcomb always leaves me with a positive attitude. He has a way about him that gives hope and an understanding of what's going on.

I had to participate in a Zoom telehealth appointment this AM as I have a cold and cough. The process was effective. Dr Holcomb was his usual friendly, knowledgeable and decisive self. He listens, asks great questions, answers any questions that I have. A great representative of Centura Health.

Dr. Holcomb is the best.

Dr. Holcomb listens well, explains well and answers questions respectfully & thoroughly. He has a very good "bedside manner" (approach & attitude toward his patient) which is highly appreciated as well as a courteous and professional staff.

Ask questions, shows empathy and sincerity, and was very open and receptive to answering my questions and concerns. Highly recommend.

He is the first Dr. to have ever read my chart so thoroughly. He understood the issues and explained the asthma issues very.

Although I had to wait several months to get in to see Dr. Holcomb since he's very busy, once I got in I was very pleased that he took the time to answer all of my questions and fully explain my condition thoroughly.

One of the most disappointing and unsatisfactory encounters with a physician I can ever recall in all my years. He is arrogant and doesn’t listen. As a healthcare professional myself, Barry gives out incorrect information and is the least empathic physician I have ever met.

The office staff, especially Makenzie, was very helpful. Very short wait, so they have awesome scheduling skills. Dr. Holcomb provided a very good explanation as to my current health status in a professional yet quite personable manner. I highly recommend Dr. Holcomb and his staff for anyone needing assistance with pulmonary issues.

Dr. Holcomb has been my pulmonologist for many years. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He is able to adjust my medication as needed depending on how my lung disease is affecting me. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful.

My only regret with Dr. Holcomb is that I don't need him for all my medical needs. He's pleasant, listens to me, treats me with respect, and I trust him completely. When I give him input about my condition, he actually listens and uses it, which not all doctors do! I hardly wait when I have an appointment. Can't say enough good about him.

Very disappointed. Doesn’t listen to you at all. No interest in finding out whats wrong with you. Uninformed about asthma and research that’s been out for years. Just throws the same meds as the family doctor gave you. Can’t believe I can spend a few hours on the internet and know more about what’s going on with my type of asthma than he does. Refuses to try and find out the cause of your illness.Gets flustered very quickly and then tries to push you out of the office. And gives you the same meds your family doctor did. Absolutely a complete waste of time. This guy is just a dispensary for the same meds your family doctor already have you. Keeps arguing with you that you need allergy testing when you have already had the testing done and the results are in front of him. Honestly one of the worst doctors I have seen

Dr. Holcomb took the time to listen to my mom describe her symptoms and the areas she was having difficulty with. He didn't rush her through her explanations and made her feel heard for the first time in a long time. He answered all of our questions and explained why certain medications weren't working. I can't rave enough!

I took my father to see Dr. Holcomb last week and was very impressed. He spent a good amount of time in the room with us and explained everything in a way that we could understand. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is very personable. In the days where most Doctors spend about two minutes with their patients Dr. Holcomb is a rarity and a true doctor who cares for his patients. I highly recommend him. I am an 85-year-old male who was diagnosed with COPD long ago and have seen a number of highly recommended pulmonologists over the years, but in my opinion, Dr. Barry Holcomb is head and shoulders over any of them. He is in every respect an outstanding and very caring physician. His staff is fine, as well. For these reasons, I do not hesitate to make this recommendation.

He didn't listen, return phone calls or explain results, A complete waste of time

Finally, after 3 1/2 years a Dr. actually listened to my problems and I now have a diagnoses for cause of my cough. And we are starting treatment. The most caring (and pleasant) Dr. I have seen in YEARS. Only wish he was closer to my home.
